The customer service at Manteca is horrible now. We thought it was a one time off day but my Husband took his own car in this week to give the business the benefit of the doubt and unfortunately it's just the customer service. The male with glasses doesn't make you feel comfortable nor welcome. No small talk, short answers and honestly made us feel like a hassle or an inconvenience. The office is beautifully decorated to honor our vets, the wait wasn't extremely long for the amount of people waiting but when you pay for services you want to feel welcomed there and not like a hassle. We loved freedom smog but we will definitely have to reconsider where we will return for smogs next time.

Two of us arrived at the same time and they were quick to take care of both of us. My car is a 2012 I bought as a demonstrator in early 2013. There shouldn't be much of a problem. Even though it's a diesel-powered car, the rules have changed and the state requires smog testing. In any case, after they finished with the other person's truck, they put my car in the bay and checked it thoroughly. So I took my RV motorhome, for a Service B Oil Change. I was quoted $180 and when I called back, a…read morewoman told me that it would be $300 because it's a diesel and it's a Mercedes. For some reason they could not remove the code after they did the oil change. And when I drove it home, I saw that they had overfilled the oil. The Service fee includes an inspection. They told me that I needed new front tires. So I got a quote from them and from another company. Monkeys said they could not do it the next morning. It would have to be in the evening. The other company said that they could do it right away in the morning. So I took it to Ripon to have my tires replaced. I asked them to also check the rear tires. Only the front tires needed replacing and upon checking the rear tires, he found an eroded battery cable. The RV would've blown up if I had driven it anymore and it would've caused a fire. Monkeys completely neglected to inspect the vehicle. I would not recommend this company to anyone, be very careful because they are doing a very shoddy job. The Ripon company also is only charging $200 for the service B. So not only did I get ripped off. They did a terrible job. They could not remove the code. They overfilled the oil. They did not do a thorough inspection. This company needs to be shut down. I never dealt with the previous owners, but I feel that they probably did a great job but the new owner is Jay and he's never there. And they do not share the owners information so if we have a complaint, we cannot talk to the owner. This one woman is working there. It's like a one woman show. She doesn't know what she's doing. She's just a receptionist, but she acts like she owns the place. If I was the owner, I would fire her in a second.
