Bought a 2012 Bentley GT continental. From day one it started giving me issues the Owner Doug a very arrogant individual who does not care about customer service, i had funny noises coming from the front of the car, i take it back and the owner has the audacity to tell me its nothing just put the music louder. I have bought many cars during my lifetime and this one has been the worse experience of all. I saw this R8 on line that they advertised and fell in love with it. I went in the same weekend and without negotiating the price I put an offer for the full amount. The sales person said the car is in great shape and that "we always take care of our customers". He promised a second key and iPhone charger. I shook his hand and took his word for it (big mistake). Upon the delivery of the car as soon as I drove it the tires light went on. The second key was not delivered and I was told that the charger will be mailed. I took to an Audi dealership (to get an independent opinion) who said they tires are all worn, the battery is inadequate and tire sensors are not working properly. They also said the car should have never been sold as such. I called the dealership and they acted surprised. To this date after about 2 months from the purchase, I have yet to receive the promised charger or the second key. Fortunately, they paid for a new battery and set of tires. I had to spend many hours chasing them down and attend to the batter and tires change. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy a car from them or risk problems. DC Motors may remember back in 2014 the sale of a beige two seat 1966 Bronco delivered to Texas. I knew I was taking a chance buying it sight unseen but thought I would finally fill you in on the actual condition of this vehicle vs. what I was told on the phone. 1.) You advertised a 1966 Bronco. Data plate clearly shows it's was a 1967. Required a title change here in Texas. 2.) Told it was a no rust vehicle. In fact both driver and passenger floorboards were rusted through with the driver side covered by a new floor plate making the rust not visible. All 8 body to frame bushing/bolt assemblies were nearly rusted through with the forward right one completely broken off. 3.) Told engine was rebuilt at 80,000 miles when in fact evidence shows it has never been rebuilt. 4.) Told by your mechanic rep. that it was "the best riding Bronco he's driven". However when the Bronco was delivered it was discovered that the fuel pump had already failed and could not be started when removed from the car hauler. 5.) Once started, when taking a corner, the radiator fan hit the cooling shroud. Why? 3 of the 4 engine mount bolts were completely missing with the 4th nearly out causing the entire engine to shift in position. Obvious this vehicle was never properly inspected before delivery. 6.) Within 50 miles of delivery a brake line blew instigating a complete replacement of all brake components. It pulled very hard to the left when braking. Was never told the brake system was completely original. 7.) Shifter tube through steering column was so worn out it could barely shift. Hopefully with this information will help tighten up your methods of advertising and especially inspection. After all, when you can't even get the year of the vehicle right, something is definitely wrong. Since delivery all of the above has been corrected and much more, making the vehicle worth now twice what I paid for it. So in this case your loss is my gain. Regards read more

Bought a MERCEDES CLS55 AMG BRABUS that they had. Within a few days the problems started. DEAD BATTERY, LEAKING COOLANT RESEVIOR, NO PULLEY ON THE SUPER CHARGER, SPARK PLUG WIRE THAT WAS SEVERED, MISFIRING MOTOR, BRABUS WHEELS THAT WERE CRACKED CAUSING SLOW AIR LEAK. I know I purchased a "Used Car" with no warranty....but this was an Exotic Super Car with low mileage and a clean car fax. After about 4K in repairs I reached out to Lee West, who was my sales person. I was extreamly humble when I brought these issues up. Aknowleging that they had no legal obligation to help, I told Lee I would be greatful for anything they could do. I was promised a check for 500 dollars to be sent in the mail. After a month nothing... I called again and was promised it would get to me. It never did. I have since spent another 4K in additional repairs. The car has been in the shop more than in my garage. Be careful what you buy, have your purchase evaluated by an independant source prior to the purchase. Wish I would have. read more

Awful. I wrote the review for DC Motors in the hope that they would do the right thing for me. I guess I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I was wrong to do so. First off, because the vehicle was consigned (which was not disclosed) a "title discrepancy" caused my plates to not come in for SIX MONTHS - I wish that were an exaggeration. Everytime I called to ask about the plates it was, "we're working on it." I was patient because I know working for a dealership is not easy. Time passes and VERY expensive payments pass (for someone my age) all while I'm too scared to drive the vehicle - I even got pulled over on their "temporary plates" once and got pulled out of the car because the police thought it was stolen. Finally, six months later the plates show up after the first set got sent to the wrong address that I sent them at least 6-7 times. I have all text conversations to contextualize the situation. They also sent it to me with a broken glovebox. Understandable, right? Things happen, no problem. I was told to, "get it fixed and we'll write you a check for the cost." So I spend $1,000 on a new glovebox. They we're supposed to send the check with the plates. Six months, nothing. I get the plates, no check. I follow up, nothing. Finally, management responds and tells me that the owner said that, "they don't feel they need to pay because the car was consigned." Then why did you over to do so? I got my plates, cut my losses on my $1,000 and cut all ties with this place. I could not have been more patient with them and they know it. I wish I were exaggerating on any of this, and I genuinely hope that they try to post a rebuttal. Should've left my BBB case open, but I trusted them that they'd take care of me when I agreed that I was going to close it. Thank you DC Motors for the worst buying experience imaginable and for six months of nothing but stress. Never, ever again. read more

This is a follow up to my original review I did back in July of 2016. After having the car for 3 months I went and had the oil change done at my local Chevrolet dealership. They found that my right rotor welds had been broken which is not common on a new vehicle. Even though the car is sold as is and it's clearly stated that way I knew the DC Motor's would stand behind its cars and would want to know about the issue. I contacted my salesman John Rodriquez and he immediately replied, and stated they would take care of the repair. I sent them an invoice for the work that was completed and they paid for the repair. I can't say enough about how great my experience has been with John my salesman and this dealership. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a Stingray or anything else they sell. I know where I'm going to get my next car when it comes time to buy. read more

At first, I was hesitant to go to this dealership due to their poorly rated reviews but once I experienced this place all the bad reviews did not matter. I feel that those people who gave poor reviews are just venting because they don't really know what they are talking about. All the cars at this dealership are very reasonably priced. Their customer service was amazing!!! All staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Going to this dealership made my car buying experience fast and simple. He was untruthful about material facts regarding the car I purchased which were instrumental in my decision to buy the car. The facts later surfaced from a dealership that was servicing my vehicle. I was shocked when I found out the extend of his deception. When I confronted him in a nice manner, asking him to politely explain how this happened, he immediately got defensive and started accusing me of lying! Wow, that's not how you should treat a customer especially after deceiving them. The conversation ended with him saying, "go get a lawyer and sue me." Unbelievable. I brought this matter to the attention of the owner of DC Motors and he failed to respond to me in any way. Very sad. I will never do business with this vendor again and I hope this review makes people seriously question the authenticity of what this company is telling its customers - basically whatever they want to hear to get a sale, regardless of facts or truth. read more

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. My wife fell in love with a Bronco they had advertised and she contacted their salesman, Lee. I followed up with him and I told him I would pay cash for it the next day if they added an AC unit. He said it would take about a week to get the AC added in. I paid over $30k the next day by wire. Took over six weeks before they shipped it. Went over two weeks with no communication whatsoever. When it was finally ready I told him I was pretty upset and I wanted to make sure it was running well since it was for my wife. He said there would be no issues with it whatsoever and it was in perfect running condition. They shipped it a few days later. When it got to our house the vehicle would not start. It was leaking fluids all over the floor of our garage. I couldn't take it to a shop to get checked out because Lee forgot to send my papers and didn't send them until a week and a half later. I told him how disappointed I was and he said take it to a shop and if they see any problems they'd refund my money. I took it to a mechanic who owns three Broncos himself and he said it would need about $1000.00 to be up to par but that this vehicle would be nothing but trouble, especially for a woman who has no mechanical abilities. I told Lee this and that I was shipping the vehicle back under the assumption they were refunding my money. I didn't hear from them for well over a week and then I found out they were not refunding my money but consigning it on their lot without any approval from me. I asked them under what authority were they trying to sell my vehicle and they said they were pretty sure they'd have it sold that weekend. I inquired a few weeks later as to whether they had sold it and never heard anything so I let them know I would be suing them. I am the owner of a very large law firm and don't like to get involved in litigation in my personal life but if they can do stuff like this to me, imagine what they do to the general public. My other cars are a Rolls Royce and a top of the line Mercedes so I've come to know what good service is. I knew we were getting a used car. However, I would have expected it to be in good working condition and for the company to stand behind their statements. I wouldn't expect service and games like this from a Yugo dealership. I have nearly 200 employees and know how important customer service and integrity are. Thats what upsets me the most. If you say something to me keep your promise. I will never buy a used car again after this experience. read more

I found a car on line and contacted Todd. He was very helpful and accommodating. He didn't just try to sell me a car, he showed me the car I wanted, I took a test drive, and we discussed price. The car was in very nice condition, and very fairly priced. He didn't want to just sell me a car, he wanted to sell me a car that I wanted. There was no pressure, no sales tactics. PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND JUST STAY AWAY IN GENERAL. I bought a 74 Bronco and proceeded to kill the engine on the first day because the gears were poorly calibrated and DRIVE was actually SECOND and after being on the highway for 10 minutes, the party was over. Let's just say for arguments sake the whole thing is my fault. What happened was over the next following months I had to build a relationship with ASC Auto (the real MVP's) in Venice to get under the hood and get the vehicle operating at a high level. What we discovered is that DC motors is just cheap as shit. They know their market is not car experts and they do shitty engine builds. Their mechanic slicks his hair back and gets spray tans for christ's sake. Probably because he's inspired by his cheesy OC boss who just will tell you about how he was friends with Paul Walker. When my Fitech gave out after 400 miles on the new engine, the salesman wouldn't even acknowledge me regarding a proof of purchase for it so I could get it fixed for free as it is still under warranty. There's a reason these guys have no following on social, and bad yelp ratings. They are cheap. And I know because I'm literally striping back everything they did and its embarrassing whats under the hood. My advice if you must buy a car here, lowball them. They aren't putting real money into these cars and they can afford to go much lower on the price. And then have the cars properly inspected before purchasing them. They take pretty photos, but under the hood it's a mess. I assure you all their five star ratings on here are friends. Good luck! read more

A few years ago I purchased an H1 Hummer from Todd. I had the Hummer for a week before it started leaking coolant. I returned the truck and they told me the it had a cracked head. Then I came to find out that it had 2 cracked heads which they replaced with 2 used heads per their mechanic. The mechanic I took it to told me someone had poured some kind of rubber sealant into the radiator to conceal the leak. After 2 months and several returns to DC Motors, I found it also had a cracked #8 cylinder. My mechanic told me there is no way the dealership did not know this when they sold it to me. I just bought my first Corvette yesterday from DC Motors. I had done searching online and they seemed to have the largest selection of barely used Corvettes around. I showed up not knowing what to expect, walked into the show room and was greeted by Lee. I sat down and told him what I was looking for, within a price range, and he took me straight to the cars I wanted to see. He stood back and let me look over the car I wanted and answered all of the questions I had. He was completely truthful about the car and didn't feed me a bunch of hoopla to try and sell me on something I didn't want; or couldn't afford. I told him I was interested and we talked a few numbers and then I went home and slept on it. There was no pressure which made the whole purchase process smooth and stress-free. I was able to do the loan approval application at home through their website which saved a bunch of time. Lee touched base with me the next morning after the loan approval and I was ready for a test drive. I let him know when I was on my way and they had the car ready for me to drive when I got there. We went through financing figures first and everything was outlined very clearly. After the test drive I knew this Corvette was for me. We went over final figures and I went to the bank to get a cashiers check for the down payment while Lee prepared the purchase paperwork. Everything was ready by the time I got back to their showroom. I signed and was out the door in my car within what seemed to be minutes. Everything was very clear cut with no hidden charges or dealer fees. There were literally four line items on my quote and that's exactly what appeared on the purchase agreement. The whole purchase was seamless and I walked out of there with a huge smile on my face. Lee followed up the next day to see how everything was going and I let him know how happy I am with this purchase. Thank you Lee and DC Motors for helping me get into my first Corvette. Trusting a used car dealership on a high end car is hard to do, but when I saw the exact car that I wanted in Autotrader I thought I would would give DC Motors a shot, I called and spoke to Todd he described the vehicle and sent me information and photos of what might concern on hrs car, did not pressure me to buy vehicle, but offerer to pick me up form the airport if I decided to fly in. Upon my arrival I was picked up and brought to the dealership DC, I found the dealership to look very professional and clean it occupies two large buildings that a full of high end a classic cars. Todd went over the car with me pointing out details would be important when this type of car, since the car was exactly how it was described and the that the test drive went well I bought the car, the best part of the transactions was it only took 10 Minutes to complete the paperwork and I was on the road! Paid $2800 for a 6 yr extended warranty and DC Motors will not refund the portion of profit they made for the unused portion of the warranty. I was in the market for a 2014 Corvette in November, 2014. I came across DC Motors in a Google search. They have Corvettes that they get from a GM driving school usually with 3-6k miles. They were advertising a feature( Magnetic Ride Control) on all of their 2014 Corvettes. The window sticker did not specifically say it was included, but the salesman assured me in writing that all the cars from the driving school have it. I live in the SF area and drove down to finish the transaction and drive it home. After returning home I had some suspicion that it was missing, ran the VIN number through the local GM dealer and found out it was not an option. I immediately contacted the salesman and brought this to his attention. He initially swore it had the Mag Ride until I told him to run the VIN himself and he finally admitted he was wrong. While I don't think he was trying to intentionally deceive me, the fact is I would not have bought the car knowing the Mag Ride was not there. I asked for a refund of 1795.00 which was the price for the option. I think I was being more than reasonable and within my rights. After talking it over with the owner, they declined to reimburse me. Also, I was initially concerned about the car coming from a driving school because that meant that the powertrain warranty is voided. The salesman said I could purchase an third party warranty for the Powertrain for 2300.00, but that was not necessary. I purchased one anyway and boy am I glad I did. By the time I got home, The electronic limited slip Differential was starting to lock up. Currently, my car sits in the garage waiting for the third party warranty card to show so I can take it in and get it repaired. read more
