DCH Paramus Honda failed on many levels.... Update 11/21/2018 - 12/1/18, I've called this dealership location so many times over the past two weeks and had been given nothing but the run around by the following people who could not even return a phone call. They are in no particular order internet sales: Jessica (spoke with several times) regarding plates and registration, complained to both Arielles and Frank regarding Jesues O's UN-professionalism in which Arielles vouched for this person's character, perhaps she is blissfully living in la la land. Finally called the number on the bill of sale and spoke with the amazingly ignorant Georgia who called me sweetie and stated she would follow up and never did, only to then address me by the wrong name "Fartina Ali" and placed me on hold for almost 25 mins on 11/26/2018. Jesus O. is only concerned with receiving 10's on his survey when he's done nothing to deserve even 1's. He enjoys speaking down to me not sure if he's a misogynistic pig or if he is uncouth when it comes to interacting with women. Either way he should learn that if you attempt to disrespect a Guyanese woman then prepare to feel their wrath. I could go on and on about this person's lack of professionalism but I will end it here for now. Omar whatever also pretended to listen to me on the same day as my conversation with Georgina whatever and apologized. He stated that he would contact me regarding my plates and address Jesus's behavior with him. He also stated that he would fedex my plates to me when he can get some answers from the DMV department. This conversation occurred on Monday 11/26/2018. I have since left two messages on Wednesday 11/28/2018 and Friday 11/30/2018 to no avail. Finally interacted with an amazing woman today by the name of Yaribel. R. who was honest and beyond professional. Today is 12/1/18 and I won't be receiving my plates until Dec 5 if I am lucky. I cannot thank her enough for simply treating me like a human being when all these other losers couldn't simply find the time to follow up. I retracted my google review to a negative one only to miraculously receive a call back from the beyond. The one and only Jesus who then started raising his voice and proclaiming that he called my spouse on the 11/14/2018 to alert us to the arrival of our plates. This piece of garbage has now made me livid. He never contacted us of his own volition and insisted that he had done so. The problem with this idiot's statement is that my plates according to the only woman who was kind enough to treat me with some respect and dignity (Yaribel) stated only arrived at DCH on or about 11/21/2018. Jesues O. superstar over here never banked on the fact that my spouse never deleted the so called message that he claimed to have left us on 11/14/2018. In playing the message back for Roberto from management, he confirmed that it was his voice on the recording and not Jesues' in which he asked about our service with the dealership. Even though this person is proven to be dishonest and a liar to say the least he's not held accountable for his behavior at all. Why in the hell would someone claim to have called and left us a message when they actually never did any of it? Answer is simply this company employs liars, crooks, and dishonest snake oil salesmen to try to get over on an average consumer. The buck stops with my family and I. In filing an actual compliant with Roberto against both Omar and Jesues, I received a phone call from Omar within 5 mins. who thought that he was doing me a favor. He yelled into the phone when I answered "ALLY" I am sending your plates to you over night, as if I should be impressed by yet another failure of egotistical man claiming to do something for a woman. Wow!!!!! If you are looking for a dealership who will treat you with nothing but disrespect, incompetence, and arrogance then you will love these jerks, especially Jesus O. P.P.S. It's beyond insulting when a snooty car sales man refers to the woman in the room's occupation as a "housewife" and further disrespects my husband and I by asking about our educational levels so that they can put the screws to us when it came to financing. The b.s. that was given by management in stating that they wanted to inquire as courtesy because of their current promotion that was being offered to recent college graduates is outrageous. The audacity of these people to insult our intelligence and then try to explain it away is absurd. I was there to purchase a car and not a job interview in which that question would be relevant. *Among the many insulting things that Jesues O did during the point of sale, he added an additional $1,000 to our invoice bringing our new total for the Honda Civic Touring to $29,549.93. I had him go back to John and enter the correct price ($28,549.93) before agreeing to signing any documents. read more

Ok, so I was looking for a place to take my Honda Civic after 2 other good mechanics were not able to find the problem and they asked me to take it to a Honda dealer. I'm a hard person to please and aside from being a good judge of character can always catch people in a lie and there is nothing I hate more than liar is a bad liar. Of course I checked the reviews before taking my car to DCH Honda in Paramus and I tell you after reading them I had second thoughts but I'm the type of person I need to see for myself sometimes at a personal cost. Anyway I also know that is hard to please everyone because I also work dealing with people, I'm an inspector for NJ State. When I first got there I thought I'm never getting out of here with all the cars ahead of me even though I had an appointment. Well in less than 5 min. I was in front of the attendant Bryan Puyen he was very informative and told me how long it would take, about 3 hrs which seemed fair considering all they had to inspect. I was so pleasantly surprised when I found out that not only there was a shuttle to bring me back to my job but that they would even pick me up after words from my job or house. While I waited for the shuttle which was again no more than 10 min. they provided not only all the coffee, water and even fresh bagels with cream cheese, now PEOPLE if that's not good customer service, I don't know what is. After the 3 hrs I was told it would take to diagnosed the problem I got a call from Bryan and told me that they have not been able to find the problem and that I needed to pay and extra diagnosis fee because of the time it was taking I was not happy to hear this but went along since as I said before 2 other good mechanics have not been able to find the problem. After about almost 2 hrs, Bryan called me back and explained what was wrong with the car and that it needed extensive and YES expensive engine work. He was really understanding of my situation to come up with over $2000 and close to $3000 if other parts were damaged. I explained that I would need time to think if I should go ahead or just put my poor car out of it's misery with a shot to the block. Bryan again not only did he made arrangements for me to be picked up from home to pick up my car but waived the second inspection fee of $120. which under the situation I was in, made me very happy. Bar none this is the best service I have received by any dealer, auto shop etc. In by book they get 10 stars today. I don't know how things were a year ago or before but you have to give this place a chance and remember not everyone is going to be please and not everyday people are going to please you and good service is not cheap. Also I know people usually complain when they are told what their car needs and they feel that they don't need it, well guess what? I bet you did not know but you can always SAY NO! In all I had a great experience on this day for someone who as I said before is really hard to please. I almost forgot, the shuttle driver and I feel really bad I don't remember his name, he is from the Philippines, what a great guy and all around good person, we had a great conversation during our trip and while stock in traffic, if you ever have to use this service I hope you get him, it will make up your day. After appointment with Andy Kato, I visited DCH Honda to meet him . Because he is one of a car sales man to be able to communicate Japanese language .I am not accustomed to speak English. But his attitude is very bad and terrible. crazy salesman. First he mentioned that I will not quote today. He mentioned that if you decide to buy a new car from me , I prepare document . making a contract. That's it. In other word, no price negotiation, He mentioned that the customer must agree suggested price without price negotiation. His suggested price is no discount plus adding no useful option. I doubt not only his attitude but also DCH company policy. Where is the customer satisfaction, Where is customer first. It is terrible. Ridiculous .Without price negotiation, nobody can buy. He clearly mentioned that American car salesman is not so good as an occupation. And customer support is terrible, compare to other country. I understand his intention that he support (justify) his terrible attitude by himself. I explained my policy that without confirming quote , I can not decide to buy a car. Generally speaking ,car sales man is willing to quote and willing to explain not only cost but also characteristic of the car carefully. And there is the principle that "Customer First" for every country , any type of industry. But he did not change his attitude. So I went to another Honda Dealer. I visited Hudson Honda, A sales person is very gentle , kind , sincerity, and making every effort to make a contract. I am satisfied with price , customer support , attitude etc. After several months, a talk of the car sales was reflected on our topic when we enjoyed drinking. One of my friend strongly recommend that a person considering to buy car should avoid as much as possible to deal with DCH HONDA , Andy Kato. He mentioned that Andy Kato is notorious car sales man, his attitude (careless attitude to customer). And he said bad news that there was many rumor that a contract price was different from an estimate price without detailed explanation. Is he a swindler? He palms off the car option which customer refused to buy . Another men mentioned that Andy Kato request every customer to answer the inquiry from Honda USA that the evaluation of his attitude to the customer is best, (good service) So Andy Kato can receive bonus (incentive) from Honda USA. Every member is big laughing. Every member regard him like a swindler and make a fool. He is dirty and every Japanese must not trust him. My wife and I live in Manhattan, and we decided to buy a car during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic here this past April. Our goal was to manage the entire process on line. We were torn between Honda and Toyota, and we ultimately settled on a new Honda Accord sedan (Trim: EXL 2.0). At the time, we were seeking a sales venue that would work with us so that we could purchase the car relatively confident that it was not in any way contaminated. Most dealerships in the tri-state area were barely operational, and stock was low. DCH Paramus worked hard to win our business. From my initial contacts through the entire sale process, the staff at DCH did all it could to make the process seamless. It began with my first phone call with Krystal, who handled internet sales. She was friendly, informative, took all the time with me that I needed, and, over the course of several one calls, worked out a plan with me to give me comfort that I would receive a car that was fully disinfected. When I was ready to go to the next stage and negotiate a purchase, I dealt with the sales manager, Mike Lee. Mike was extremely professional and courteous. I had shifted my initial car preference from a hybrid to a conventional Accord, and he recommended a car that my wife and I thought would work. Mike and I quickly reached a financial deal that was satisfactory to both of us. The most amazing part is that we consummated the deal without any test drive. (Having owned the car for one month now, I can safely say this car completely meets our needs, even though we never test drove the vehicle.) Mike then had me work with one of his sales staff, Renato, who prepared all of the sales paperwork and worked on my behalf with the finance people. The entire sales process at the showroom took place with my primarily sitting in a car, so that I was able to keep my contact with people to an absolute minimum. Renato would drop off the paperwork, I would sign and leave the paperwork for him, and he would pick it up and bring it inside. We worked through both the sales papers and the financing papers in this fashion. DCH held the new car for several days after my initial inspection and purchase, without anyone entering the vehicle. When I was satisfied that the new car was clean, I retrieved the keys and picked up the vehicle. After the sale, Mike arranged to have the plates and registration sent to me by overnight mail. Thus, I was able to avoid all personal contact. Given the COVID situation, I was impressed at the creativity of the DCH staff and can without hesitation highly recommend the staff at DCH Honda and that you consider this dealership in your purchasing plans. my son worked for this company for i'd say for about a year in the service department. absolutely loved his job. every saturdays the company would buy food for the employees, which i thought was pretty nice of them, however, saturday the 18th, if im not mistaken was a bit different. from what my son tells me, him and his co-worker got some food ate a little and went back to work.. he kinda did the back and fourth, eating, working bc it was a busy day. when it finally slowed down a bit, my son took what i believe was a 30 minute break. not thinking anything was done wrong, my son went back in and started working after his break.. little did he know what would've been a problem. they had him work Monday-Thursday like normal.. come thursday, they called my son into the office to have him fill out a form, which wasn't explained to him what he was signing (my son understands english and reads it, but it can be a bit hard considering he came from DR not know any english at all) handed him his final check and FIRED HIM!! Chet the "svc manager" threw a box on the floor, like he was a piece of shit and said get your stuff out of here. WHAT!!! i asked my son if anything had happened prior to this incident, and he stated the only thing he can remember was when he had the stomach bug and called out one morning.. other than that my son Jonathan, was very dedicated to his job. Aren't we allowed sick and personal time???!!! what happened to a verbal warning and write up warnings??!! Me, myself working for a huge corporation and being a manager, that's how i do things, the proper way!! going back to the beginning of the story, his co-worker however didn't get fired, he got a 2 day suspension but is back at work with no issues, IS THAT REALLY FAIR??!! what did they really fire my son for??? lets talk about Chet, the service manager, i have numerous pictures of him sleeping on the job in his car.. he does this constantly for hours!!! why isn't he fired for stealing company time??? lets talk about the service employees doing drugs on the job like cocaine!! like marijuanna!!! why aren't the employees drug tested, i asked bc im pretty sure that dept would be left with no one!! my son, with tears in his eyes trying to keep it together begged numerous times for his job back and they just walked away from him like he was nothing!! this , i promise will not end here!! i will be contacting the department of labor and whomever else i need to contact. read more

08/16/2018: They are very deceptive people, stay away from them. Apparently they sold me a new vehicle with used brake rotor. See for yourself the condition of rotor after 4 months and 2900 miles. Pictures don't lie. While buying the vehicle finance guy try to fool me by writing 5 years loan with higher interest rate when I specifically told them I want 3 years loan with lower interest rate. Finance guy said, it is same you can pay the loan in 3 years, finance guy got very irritated when I forced him for three year loan. While taking the delivery of the vehicle I pointed out the rust on brake rotor to sales person Juan Reynoso, he said it is nothing, once you will wash, it will go away. When I contacted Juan about the issue on 08/10/2018 he brought his manager, he inspected it and said it's because I drive over water but you can bring it for service as it is still under warranty. On 08/15/2018 Frank Russo simply ignored me and said it is how it is designed. You dishonest people have already wasted my time the rotors are worth of. Replace all four brake rotors with the new one or take your vehicles back. You will also notice one thing, no matters how many test drive you take, when you buy the vehicle it will be around 10 miles. Something to think about and look at the condition of my vehicle. You should definitely visit their nice showroom to see rust free new shiny vehicles or for a quick cup of free coffee, which they are able to afford by selling new vehicles with used parts. Initially, we visit DCH Paramus Honda to look at a used 2014 MDX, after a couple of cable power jump the car arrive for a test drive. Our sale person, Mark, did a good job of letting us test drive the used car, we drove about 3 miles before returning back to the dealership. After several inspections, we noticed that the car had several noticiable scratches, biggest disappointment was the nail polish cover on top of the driver door handle, it was another color all together. So we turn down the idea of looking at a used car and go right to looking for a new Honda Pilot with Honda Sensing. Mark showed us the white color exterior with black interior, which my wife refuse because it reminded her of old car. She requested that we purchase a silver/gray exterior with gray or black interior, which was not available at this dealership. After getting all the information he needed including the price, Mark A. came back and told us that his manager could get the car from another DCH dealer but it would cost $350 more, which we agreed. A couple days later, Mark called to see if we could take delivery on Friday or Saturday. To his surprise, we left a message on his phone and show up at the dealer on Friday at 5:20pm. He was busy that day and had not pick up the car from the dealer, which located about 40 miles away. He told us that he would have the car in about 2 hours, which we waited. It was not until 3:40 minutes later that he came back due to bad traffic. We close the deal/finance at approximately 10:20pm. I though that these guys would find a way to ripped me off with finance rate even though I have a very good FICO score. We close the deal at a finance rate of 4.49%, which was exceptional on a Honda Pilot. We found the dealer to be honest with good sale people behind it. Yes, they will try to pressure you to purchase the car on their lot. Show me a dealership who doesn't do this! Do some research, get your best price and visit DCH Paramus Honda. 2021 Car Buying Experience at DCH Paramus Honda with Hamad Deeb We already knew the vehicle (2021 Honda Ridgeline) we were interested before coming in to DCH Paramus Honda by looking at their website. So we made a decision to check it out in person without making an appointment. By chance, we were welcomed by Hamad Deeb as we were walking in. Hamad was hospitable and very accommodating. He went out of his way in letting us check and experience some of the features of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline without making us feel rushed. Even though having done some some research and got familiarized with most of the features, Hamad still able to show and share with us features that we did not know (i.e. ability to open all four windows after auto start before even getting into the vehicle and truck bed speakers). Although, we came to like the vehicle more after our in-person visit, Hamad tried to make us commit, as his job as a Salesperson, we were not pressured. Instead, Hamad listened, thanked us for our time, handed us a business card, and noted to call him for any questions. Then went our separate ways. After thinking it over, we decided to pull the trigger on the Ridgeline and reached out to Hamad. The buying experience included business as usual processes just like any other dealerships (i.e. applications, credit checks, negotiations, etc). The interactions were professional and friendly. Hamada listened to our objectives and made all the efforts to ensure they are met. At the end, we won some and lost some of our asks. Overall though, we came to a good spot. In summary, the car buying experience with DCH Paramus Honda was stress-free. This was attributable to their clean and modern facility, including social distance and mask protocols as we are in COVID-19 environment. Most important to note though, we experienced a positive car buying process primarily due to the professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and patient afforded to us by our salesperson, Hamad Deeb. After a disappointing visit to the Nanuet dealership where I tried to sell my Toyota Rav 4 and finance a CRV, I wanted to explore my options further. My husband had a lease that he would get serviced at DCH Paramus, and had positive things to say about his experiences. Also, having owned Hondas all my life prior to my Rav 4, I knew I was ready to do business and get back over to Honda. I requested information online from the Paramus dealership and was immediately called by Lisa Williams who requested that I come in to discuss my trade. I set up an appointment for my husband and I to come in as he was also looking to renew his lease. When we went into the DCH Paramus dealership, they were great from start to finish. I was greeted before I barely had walked up to the door and immediately got linked with Lisa who had us work with a senior sales consultant Hamad Deeb. Hamad was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles we were looking at. We were very clear with him about what we were looking for in terms of trade in values, money down, and expected monthly payments. Although it took some negotiating, he fought for us with his superiors and we were able to reach an agreement that felt comfortable for all of us. We were at the dealership from 5pm-11:30pm....it was a very long night, but Hamad made everything go smoothly. He was friendly, humorous, and very accommodating even to the point of offering to charge my iPhone, and sitting with me in my new CRV at 11:30pm to show me the features. He was by no means rushing us out knowing he had already made the sale. He even told me to call him anytime if I had any questions about the vehicle. Overall we had an awesome experience!! Frustration Turns to ELATION! Weeks of planning, research, explanations, shopping, and internet searches all became trivial when I walked into the beautiful DCH Paramus showroom. During our annual neighborhood block party we were discussing the car buying process with our best friends and they made the suggestion that I contact Hamad Deeb at DCH Honda in Paramus New Jersey. "Hamad Deeb" !!!!! what kind of name is this....did his parents not like him? After several minutes of laughing they explained that I would never have a better car buying experience....and the only problem I would have is to stop him from asking if he could explain "ALL" the hundreds of features of the car..... one more time! Hamad would be considered "CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE TOP!" I will give you one quick example...during the paperwork phase of the purchase..... in the middle of answering questions and speaking to the insurance company , my wife asked me to get her a "Vanilla Cappuccino" ( FREE in the dealership ). I explained that we would be going to sign the papers in the business office and we would get it on the way home. By the time we had reached the business office two Vanilla Cappuccino's were on the desk were my wife and I would be signing the papers. I thanked Hamad and renamed him Houdini which I felt better suited him. After the paperwork was signed Hamad was waiting with the keys, and the temporary license plate, registration and insurance card. Do yourselves a favor....go experience what car buying is supposed to be....and by the way...Hamad also got me the best price of all the dealers in the area. I brought my car in for service on 5/29/14 after have issues with other Honda dealer in the area. I was so impressed with the facility, it was clean and very easy to drive my car right inside. You can tell the moment you drive in that theses people really care about there customers, it look like they have made a serious investment into this building it's the nicest service department I have ever seen awesome coffee too. As I was greeted by a nice young lady she directed to one of the advisors to assist me. I explained all of the issues I have had in the past and assured me we are here to help, that gave me a good felling. My check engine light has come on and off for months and i have spent 800.00 at other dealers and tried STS still not fixed. I decided to wait for it as I know it was busy and I didn't have an appointment, he offer me a ride home or to the mall but I said I'll stay. After about hour they came out to get me and told me they have found the problem it's a loose ground causing all of your issues I can't believe no one had ever found the real issue, he explained we have a great technicians here that have over 25 years Honda experience. They did a full check over and gave a really nice printed inspection report on my car, which I needed new filters and oil change I knew was over due for these items. The prices were less than I just paid for my other car at jiffy lube and I got all honda parts I told them to do it. I had a great experience here I will be coming back with my Acura which they can service for a lot less than I'm paying now. I know every always write a review when things don't go well but they treated me great and they were honest also the only place that fixed my car properly. Hats off to Paramus Honda! read more

This was my first experience buying a car, and Hamad Deeb at DCH Paramus Honda made it the best experience for me. That day we went to 2 other Honda dealerships where i was very disappointed and discouraged, it seemed like i knew more about the car than the sales people did, they didnt really care about what i wanted, and they were not really helpful, they were just trying to sell. When i went to DCH Paramus Honda it was totally different experience. Hamad Deeb cared about my wants, asked me what features I wanted my new car to have, he wanted to make sure i'm getting the car that had everything im looking for included. He was also very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the car and its features. I read about the car and its features a lot before coming and thought i knew all of them, but Hamad showed me a lot of things that i didnt read about and didnt know the car had, he did everything to get my car for me as soon as possible. He spent a lot of time to show me how everything in the car works, helped me to set everything up after i purchased it, made sure i understood every step and left the dealership with knowing as much about the car as he did. My mom, who went to buy the car with me, has more experience buying a car and she never met anyone like Hamad, she was very impressed and happy about Hamad's knowledge, passion and willingness to help me, she almost bought one for herself. I was very happy with my purchase, i like the atmosphere and friendliness of people there and i will continue to service my car at DCH Paramus Honda. I would definitely recommend Hamad Deeb and DCH Paramus Honda to everyone, people there know what they sell. Dear Honda Team, I just wanted to say thank you for my amazing buying experience at Honda, Paramus, NJ. I went in last week just to look around and the excellent customer service that Mr. Hamad Deeb greeted me with, behooved me to return. I felt good. I felt that the sales associate I was dealing with knew his product. He addressed all my questions and concerns in a professional, knowledgeable and in an non-carsalesman manner. I appreciated that. He was honest, straightforward, and very patient. He took his time to explain my options and asked very specific questions as it pertain to what I was interested in. His courteous and professional manner convince me that I absolutely chose the right dealership and person. I felt very relaxed and comfortable during my whole experience at Honda. The price was right the service was amazing and the feeling that the staff at Honda, more specifically Mr. Deeb provided was awesome! It's refreshing to walk into a dealership in not feel pressure, but feel like someone understood and was willing to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions, which we all know it's very rare these days.
