I went to this store, looking for a picture frame, first time ever going into a DD's Discount. I wasn't sure if they would even have picture frame, especially in the size I needed. But once I walked in I was astounded to see a picture frame! I needed one that was shiny, 11x8, and silver. I had given that description to one of the employees named Elliot. They helped and lead me to the section and stayed to help me find the exact one. The frame wasn't expensive either, and the wedding picture looks amazing in it!! read more

The dd's discount located on 20th Street and Thomas is not a good store to shop at. The manager will run up to you if you have a small bag and tell you you can't shop there and you have to leave your bag at the front and all this other good stuff. When you try to report it to their customer service people their regional manager will just keep blowing you off. When I finally got her to talk to me she said she would address it with her staff. And then she turned around and told me that she would send me a gift card which I never received. Let me mention that I've tried reaching out to her and she just refuses to respond. This place is not a good dd's discount to shop at some other location would be better. People do not like being profiled as a thief. read more

So I went shopping dds discounts and had the worst experience I've had shopping in a long time. The sales floor people followed me around the entire time, blocked my path with clothing carts as I was shopping , and even had the audacity to stare me down at the door while I was checking out. IT WAS THE WORST FEELING EVER. NOT TO MENTION ONE OF THEM EVEN ASKED IF I LIVED CLOSE BY WHEN I ANSWERED THAT I HAD INDEED SHOPPED IN THE STORE BEFORE!!! Like wtf ! I've been followed in stores before , but when I'm sweatpants and a stained shirt, so yea I get it then, but not when I'm in a regular tshirt and shorts trying to mind my business. Kinda what you'd expect in this store. It's discount. It's messy and dirty. Floors were nasty. It's not in the best neighborhood. It's a place for inexpensive clothes or "things" that you know won't last you very long. I'm disappointed at how messy the shelves are. The employees were not very professional looking from dirty hair, disheveled clothes and an attitude of 'who cares?' I tried on some clothes and the gal who counted my whole 2 items, made me hang them on the rack, double check it's only 2 items, gave me a number and sent me back to a dressing room with dust bunnies all over the dirty floor. Upon return of tried on items same routine of 'hang them here'. I felt like she thought I was going to steal something. Maybe it's a common thing there, anyway, pretty tight regulations in the changing room area that's for sure. Doubt I'll be going back. read more

Terrible customer service. The rule of no drinks is obnoxious. I could see if it was an upscale top of the line store. Its lower quality than Ross and they allow drinks. I don't drive, meaning I don't have a car to put store my drink. I asked if they could hold it and he rudely told me no. If you're going to have rules about what you can and can't bring my suggestion is have lockers in front of the store for those who don't have cars. Another thing I suggest is having some empathy. Since the store lacked empathy and was very rude, I will not return to the store nor will I ever recommend it. read more

Bought a couple of kitchen rugs n some infant clothes ..not bad a deal...rugs were available for 2.99 n the baby clothes were also good ..the clothes in here are good quality n pretty reasonable rates ...I love this store and wil go back soon again read more

I love this store, it's always clean and never clothes just laying around on the floor by rude and careless customers. Be careful when you come into this store, it's super cheap and you may spend more than anticipated due to the great prices on clothing. Most of the clothes in my closet is all from DD's! read more

DD's has a great employee discount but management was terrible. Me along with the other Supervisors and Co-Workers were overworked and hardly received our breaks because the Store Manager was either late, called out or never came out of her office. People would say called HR but HR will only end up telling the District Manager and they will know who sent the anonymous complaint, putting your job at risk. I've worked open to close or 8 hours straight with one two no breaks. The Store Manager always had an excuse why she left her, her daughter, her car, her mom, she's sick, etc. The rest of the employees were great as they could be but with a poor Store Manager and District Manager, I along with other workers felt we as employees were not important nor was we appreciated for all the work we have done. When are a person goes to their District Manager to inform them of serious poor Store Management and they tell you they would replace all employees to keep the Store Manager, it's time to leave. I miss my fellow co-workers but I do not miss working there. read more
