Then a few days later I received information from my Mortgage company that the rate increased 50%. You can imagin it was a surprise, not mentioned in the thank you email. So I called the office wanting to speack with the person that sent the email. Keep in mind, this agency has not contacted me personally since I signed up with them. Anyway, the person was nopt available therefore I asked for a return call. I am here 5 days later, NO CALL. I can't take the risk with an insurance agent that does not return calls, what if I had a claim? They would probably not call then either. Bottom line, I am changing agents and low and behold at a better rate with the same Carrier Mercury. My opinion is, the management of this group doesn't care about my business. I recommend someone else, anybody else.

But the lady who helped me there today had kind of a smirk on her face since the moment I walked in. Her pen was not working and when I asked for another pen she showed frustration. Lastly as she gave me my receipt and my documents she said thank you. Before I could ask a question she "politely" said "Thank you and have a nice day". Never ever, eeeever have I felt kicked out of a place for no reason.

I paid my premiums on time every month, believing that if something ever happened, they would have my back. I was wrong. Recently, my 2024 Chevy Trax SR2 was involved in an accident. Instead of helping me repair the car, Fred Loya declared it a total loss -- even though the damage was mainly to the rear suspension and clearly repairable. They made this decision fast and without giving me a real say. It felt like they were just trying to get rid of the claim and pay out as little as possible. Now I'm left without a car, stressed, and stuck in a mess I didn't create -- while they still took my money for years. They showed no care, no support, and no willingness to help me in my time of need. I feel betrayed and completely let down. If you're thinking of signing up with Fred Loya: Don't.
