I have to agree with the first reviewer. Mark's work has always been top notch, I've been using his services for years as well.

This shop is definitely not closed. Mark can be hard to reach sometimes but the quality of work performed is well worth the wait.

I'm updating this review because the business response is misleading…read more I have a voicemail from Steve clearly stating that they did not want to get involved with my vehicle because another shop had already worked on it and he did not want me to possibly "get upset at them too." That was the exact reasoning given. This was not about warranty. It was not about saving me money. I was fully prepared to pay for an inspection or any necessary correction. I was simply asking for a professional second opinion. If a shop refuses work because they're concerned a customer might "get upset," that raises serious questions about confidence in their own work. A reputable shop stands behind its skills and diagnoses issues regardless of who previously touched the vehicle. Changing the explanation publicly after the fact does not reflect well. I stand by what I said. I had a very disappointing experience at Automotive Instincts in Northridge. I called and spoke with Steve about looking at my car after another shop had worked on it, and he basically told me they didn't want to touch it because another shop already did the work. His reasoning was that he didn't want me to "get upset at them too." That makes absolutely no sense. As a customer, I'm simply looking for a professional second opinion or proper correction if something wasn't done right. Refusing to even inspect the vehicle just because another shop previously worked on it feels unprofessional and dismissive. Cars get worked on by multiple shops all the time -- that's normal. Turning someone away out of fear of a bad review instead of standing behind your own skills says a lot. Very disappointing customer service. I expected more professionalism and confidence from a shop with such high ratings.

The contrast between the two experiences couldn't be more stark. While Bob Smith calabasas service advisor were more like "salespeople" horrible communications through text, emails when you call hold times, aggressive sales tactics, and sent me a baffling video of repairs on a different car, (not mine)! Bimmers Clinic was a model of efficiency and professionalism. When I brought my car in for service, the place looks clean, there were already many cars at Bimmers Clinic but seemed well organized as each technician takes certain cars to work on. Fred and his team were a joy to work with, keeping me informed every step of the way and treating me with courtesy and respect. When they discovered a rat had been living in my engine, causing damage, I was shocked - but also impressed by their diligence and expertise. It is astonishing that BOBSMITH had missed this issue just a week prior. Fred honored the price that he quoted and spent extra time cleaning around where the rats had lived for the past couple of months also, kept me updated by sending me a video of the problem and repairs that is done . It's clear that Fred and his team are dedicated to providing exceptional service and workmanship, and I'm grateful to have found them. I will tell all my friends to visit this shop.

I came in three weeks ago showed them what needed to be replace on my car doors, which was fading away really bad from the sun. I had the pleasure to work with Juan, and he was very nice and easy going. Very good customer service that made me feel comfortable having Precision work on my car. They saw the problem and said that they could fix the issue and with good costs. New parts and fixed perfectly with a fair price. I was able to order my parts and when they came in, I could make an appointment to get the job done. However, I did had to call my self to see if parts was in, but they gave me a day to come in the next few days. I brought it in today and was very pleased. I brought my car in around 8:30 and it was finished by 4:30pm. Though I had to end up paying more than expected because they had more labor to do because of the bolts, but it was ok because once my car was complete it was very good quality and value. Once I picked up my car it look as if I had a brand new car, it was perfect! My car was shining and I was very impressed. Overall, I will def come back FOR SURE! I like how they have professionalism, class, and quaint sitting area that is clean. Despite the fact of me having to call on my own was ok because it is what it is, and the costs of more labor at last minute, which was not anyones fault, it was just my car being tricky and different in order to complete the job. Further, bring your car here to get fixed! I was very satisfied!

I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill. The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.
