I continue to bring my car here only because I come for one thing, and that's the thing I will receive a quote for and will be charged for that issue. Now, keep in mind that he will check everything else if you ask, however, that's not what you'll get charge for and that's not what you'll receive service for. My friend Paul recommended this shop and that far exceeded my Highest Expectations. Mike and Jack are the two best mechanics and people I've met. They are honest, helpful and concerned about you and the welfare of your car running well. I trust these guys for their honest appraisal of the condition of my car. I drove quite a ways in very hot temperature just because my friend spoke so highly of them ( and they do his car and do an excellent job at a reasonable price ). They looked at my car fluids and added some. They honestly told me that my car is old and will need lots of repairs and it may need further ones down the road. They helped me keep it running until it gives out again at which point I will buy another car which I will have them check out first. My family has been taking our cars to this service center for over 15 years and have always had top notch service, pricing and attitude. Jack and Mike are terrific and look out for their customers. If you get a list of repairs from a dealership, take it with your car to Jack and Mike. They'll check out everything on the list and let you know which ones you really need. I have done this more than once and have saved paying for repairs that my cars did not need. (Wish I did that today when I stupidly took my car to Toyota of Santa Monica and had problem after problem). And be sure to check out Jack's brother, George, next door at Alabama Brakes & Alignment. Jack is an honest mechanic. He goes out of his way to help customers. He has offered to drop me off at work whenever I have to leave my car at his shop. Very sweet & knowledgeable! Honest and auto-mechanic generally doesn't go hand in hand, but with Jack and Mike over at Larry's you get just that. My parents started taking their cars over there and now my wife and I take ours. We trust these guys that we drive over there from the Beverly Hills area. The dealership (Keyes Toyota) told my wife she needed about 800.00 worth of repairs on her old Corolla. I had her take it to Jack and Mike just to double-check and they charged her 150.00 and didn't need to repair what Keyes told her needed repairing. I have taken my Ford Expedition to them on many occasions and they have taken care of the problem. They are very reasonable in price, honest about the mechanical issues and fix the problem quickly. I am very fortunate to have worked with Mike and Jack when a homeless family who became stranded out in Chatsworth. The community came together to sponsor the family and assist with fixing the brakes. We took the vehicle to Larry's Service Center where Mike and Jack took care of the issue at a very reasonable price. If it wasn't for them checking out the whole vehicle, they would have never discovered that the rear brakes/rotors on the vehicle disintegrated.
