Brown stew chicken

We ordered the brown stew chicken dinner and jerk chicken dinner from Uber eats. The timing was pushed back 3x because of delays at the restaurant. One thing about Brown Stew chicken is that it tastes different everywhere you go and unfortunately this was among my least favorite brown stew plates. The sauce was runny and the pieces of chicken they gave were mostly bones. The chicken itself had a good flavor but the brown stew gravy was just lacking. The jerk chicken was delicious. It had a good smoked taste, a hint of spice, and a delicious marinade in a thick jerk flavored gravy. But again the chicken was mostly bone.

So tasty ! Really enjoyed how it was cooked to go !! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Austell!

So I worked a 12 hour shift and I did not feel like cooking so i decided to try this place that was recommended by a coworker. I ordered the jerk chicken, rice & peas, cabbage and plantains on March 2nd, it must have been the end of the shift left overs because it was not hitting at all! The plantains were dry the rice and peas were dry and the cabbage had no flavor. Chicken was ok but overcooked. My son and I were very disappointed i will not be returning to this restaurant.

Coming from NYC living in cobb county for 5 years I've been searching for an authentic Jamaican restaurant I finally struck gold. The food at this restaurant is very fresh. They all was friendly and welcoming. I love the seating area it has a large TV and greenery on the wall along with Bob Marley portraits. They also make authentic Jamaican drinks like Irish moss. Sorrel and over 20 different kind of drinks. Hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in Cobb county.

We ended up updating the order to be fulfilled in half pans so 2 can fit in the chafing pans. That worked out perfectly! Pick up was simple and easy, however they didn't have boxes. Each pan easily went into my truck but required a few trips back & forth. The quality of the food was super fresh, enough spice and the rice & peas were the star of the show. Not a drop was left! Cabbage, jerk chicken, plantains, cocktail beef patties & rasta pasta made for something everyone could eat. Guests were pleased and there was plenty to send relatives home with a plate. If you're in the Dallas/Hiram area, check them out.

Seems like everyone was ordering to go since it was a Friday night, but they did have a seating area too. It's what you'd expect of a whole in the wall spot. Not sure what the bathrooms are like, cus I stayed in the front. Only thing I didn't see, but might've been ok the menu was the Jamaican patty display. I ordered an oxtail plate with rice & peas, cabbage, & plantain. The rice & peas were kinda soft -- I prefer mine more stern. The plantains were a bit rubbery like they sat out for a lil while, the oxtails had a sweet flavor to it, but the cabbage was fresh. Portion size was decent. Got the large for $30+ & had left overs. I'd come back again, but would prolly stick to a small - which is $19 before taxes.
