I would give this spot a 3.5 stars. Customer service was great, but the food was just ok. The cabbage was fresh & lightly seasoned. The plantains were smaller than I'm used to. They tasted like they were fried in old oil & sat out for too long. The curry goat was the best thing on the plate and made everything better. The establishment itself was clean. I took my food to go, so I couldn't tell you what the restroom gave. All in all, not sure that it was worth the price. read more

Island vibes ambiance when you walk in, the owners are always in there. They are very friendly people, I've had a couple different patty's and the jerk chicken dinner plate everything is always phenomenal. The best jerk chicken I've ever had and I eat at a lot Caribbean places. Smokey spicy seasoned perfectly. Serving size was huge it was enough for two meals for me. YESSSS!!!! I went to the location on Fairburn Road in Douglasville and it was very authentic Jamaican food! I ordered a side of roti and meat only jerk pork and it did not disappoint. We ordered the brown stew chicken dinner and jerk chicken dinner from Uber eats. The timing was pushed back 3x because of delays at the restaurant. One thing about Brown Stew chicken is that it tastes different everywhere you go and unfortunately this was among my least favorite brown stew plates. The sauce was runny and the pieces of chicken they gave were mostly bones. The chicken itself had a good flavor but the brown stew gravy was just lacking. The jerk chicken was delicious. It had a good smoked taste, a hint of spice, and a delicious marinade in a thick jerk flavored gravy. But again the chicken was mostly bone. read more

So I worked a 12 hour shift and I did not feel like cooking so i decided to try this place that was recommended by a coworker. I ordered the jerk chicken, rice & peas, cabbage and plantains on March 2nd, it must have been the end of the shift left overs because it was not hitting at all! The plantains were dry the rice and peas were dry and the cabbage had no flavor. Chicken was ok but overcooked. I absolutely loved the red snapper it was packed with flavor they did not disappoint and my family enjoyed the curry chicken. I'm not one for writing reviews but that is just how disappointed I am. I have been a regular at this place since 2017 when it was named "C & D Jamaican Restaurant" and what kept me coming back was the quality of the food, more specifically the oxtails. I had never tasted oxtails THIS good... I no longer live in the area, so my visits aren't as frequent but I will still make the 30+ minute drive if I am craving it. At the top of this year I noticed the restaurant name changed and was informed that they were under new management. Still, I ordered my usual and though it looked as it always had - the portion was much smaller and as I bit into the food it was not fresh. I decided to give them another try today and the food is even worse than it was the last time. This meal cost me nearly $20, a quarter tank of gas and my valuable time. I drove about 30 min out to try this place and I am glad I did. I'm a pescatarian so my food options are limited but they had this amazing vegan dish called veggie chunks. It tasted as if it was curried with just enough spice. It was so full of flavor and the portions were huge. I got a bang for my buck.I will definitely make this my go-to spot. read more
