    Banana matcha
    Geraldine R.

Shop is located within the Del Amo Mall, near the Macy's shoe department and in front of Lucille's. The employees were friendly and helpful. The drink itself was delicious. Not a fan of the clumpy toppings, but the banana and matcha were great.

Matcha Latte (Top Left & Top Right) and Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte (Bottom Left)

Yummy Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte!! I got two Matcha Lattes and one Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte. The Matcha Lattes had a beautiful top with the half matcha powder which I thought was nice looking. The drink itself was a good, it wasn't too bitter and too sweet. It was right in the middle, and I thought it was so good! The Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte was so good! It's hard to find a Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte unless you go to Westminster / Garden Grove so I was super excited to find it in Torrance. The drink was great, the Crème Brûlée on top added a creamy cheesy taste to the matcha latte, and it was good! The matcha latte still holds that not too bitter or too sweet ratio which was great as well! The place was pretty hard to find, you can't find it on regular Apple Maps. I was only able to find it through someone who had already been there. The place is near one of the entrances / exits, and it's near the escalators and elevators. The place is also very easy to miss, it blends in with the walls and everything. There's seating and tables next to the place which is nice. There's also a self ordering kiosk on the counter. The employee was helpful and nice! He gave us the drinks without the lids, and he directed us to where the lids, straws, and napkins were. I would come here again! The Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte was great, and I want to try more drinks on the menu!

Walked past this place in Del Amo a bunch of times but never went because the prices are steeeeeep. Heard too many good things about it and decided to pull the trigger and try. That was a mistake, because now I am ADDICTED and my wallet can't handle it. Got an almond milk matcha latte and it was by far the best I have EVER had. Service was nice and quick, ordering was exceptionally easy. Only docked one star because it really is so much more expensive than any other matcha shop.

I tried the mango matcha and it was good. I will say it is on the sweeter side but the matcha taste was still potent. De Matcha is located inside the Del Amo Mall and I'd say it is worth trying.

New matcha drink places opened at Del Amo mall. It's next to Lucille's, right at the entry way. We got two drinks and both Rasta amazing! We will both be back. Matcha Duo Hojicha Sesame Latte There was just one person working and I was pretty surprised how fast he was able to get our drinks done.

Located on the first floor near Lucille's BBQ and Macy's. I ordered the Black Sesame Matcha Latte through the kiosk, and the ordering process was quick and convenient. If you enjoy sweet matcha drinks, this is definitely a place worth trying. Personally, I usually order my matcha with no sweetness, so I do wish there was an option to adjust the sweetness level on the kiosk. On my first sip before mixing, the drink was quite sweet with the matcha flavor being the most prominent. After mixing it well, the sweetness mellowed out and the black sesame flavor came through much more, which I really enjoyed. The combination of matcha and black sesame was flavorful, especially once everything was mixed together. I'd definitely be interested in coming back to try some of their other drink options.

Ambiance: it's a takeout only matcha drink place located inside the del amo shopping center, near the entrance of Macy's Service: friendly and efficient, as all their matcha stuff was premade Drink: all drinks are made with matcha Warabi Matcha Duo - *** matcha drink, milk, topped with matcha cream, matcha powder, and a skewer of starch jelly, average taste Price: overpriced for the quality, not worth near $9 for the matcha drink

    Crème brûlée & banana matcha

Caught my attention and gave it a try! The crème brûlée was sooo delicious. The banana matcha wasn't what I personally liked but my husband really enjoyed it!. They are priced at $7.95 each, which wasn't that cheap but not too expensive. Would definitely recommend! The staff are also very friendly and helpful with helping me choose a drink.

Mango matcha was really good. The flavor of the matcha was on the stronger side which I definitely prefer.

Didn't know there's a new matcha place inside Del Amo mall. It caught my eye because the flavors are interesting. I was contemplating to choose because everything looks good but ended up getting crème brulee matcha. The drink was good, and I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. I forgot to take a photo on top of the drink to show how it looks like Anyhow, the staff said that their popular drink is the strawberry matcha but too late for me because i remembered to ask after ordering my drink Worth checking out if you're in the area

Best Matcha at Del Amo! 9 times outta ten it's perfecccct. The strawberry matcha is delicious. The workers move the line quickly and are always so nice. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.

I stopped by on a weekday and didn't realize that all they had was matcha. After looking at their menu, I decided to get their pistachio matcha. I couldn't get the sweetness level less than 100% because it meant that there wouldn't be as much matcha in it. All of their matcha drinks are premade so the cashier made my drink pretty fast. The pistachio drink tasted like ground up pistachios but it was pretty sweet and it overpowered the matcha. At over $7 its probably worth going somewhere else. This place is located across from Lucille's. Parking can be horrible during peak hours but during the weekday there should be some closer go the mall.

    Strawberry matcha duo
    Taylor K.

Located in the del amo mall near macys is this tucked away matcha shop. I got the straberry matcha duo. The matcha quality is ceremonial grade and has a nice creamy note. They use free strawberries in the puree and you get some strawberry pieces as you drink. The cream top was a bit thick and I didn't taste the matcha flavor as much. Service was quick and I only waiting 2-3 minutes after placing my order.

Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

When I came up, the employees immediately greeted me with a sample of their new Guava CitrusTeafresher which I absolutely loved since I usually do prefer fruit teas over milk teas. I ordered that with less sweetness along with their most popular drink, the Boya Jasmine Green Tea Latte. From what I heard from others, I came in with high expectations of the actual tea itself and thought their drinks would highlight a strong jasmine tea fragrance and flavor. While the Boya Jasmine was a good drink overall, I was slightly let down because the tea flavor was a bit more diluted than I had expected. However, the drink was still pretty solid. Next time I'd probably do less sweet to bring out the tea more. The Guava refresher, on the other hand, was my fave. Unlike other tea spots where their fruit teas are made from syrups and are overly sweet, this genuinely tasted like they had squeezed real Guava in green tea. It was definitely refreshing and the added lime in the drink also brought some tanginess. Service was stellar as well. And I love the concept of being able to sample teas.
