I was recently researching the benefits of lymph draining as I do a lot of research on women's health and as an advocate of living a healthy balanced lifestyle I am always on the lookout for ways to improve my overall health through exercise, diet, supplements and safe and beneficial treatments like the one I would like to discuss. When I called to make my appointment no one answered the phone. I got a call back two days later. Day of my appointment I went in 15 minutes early and the place was closed. I waited for 30 minutes and they were barely getting back from lunch. I had a deep cleansing facial done. Or atleast thats what I thought. I received a basic facial (express facial) and was charged for a deep cleansing facial, just one mask and that was it!! I came home and read the description online and found out they LIED. Total I was charged $162+ After my facial Aida Azaryan did my eyebrows. I had one request; I wanted a thick shape. When she started I got really nervous because her hands were really shaky, just shaking uncontrollably. Then what felt like an eyebrow brush was being applied to my face, and before I knew it she was done. She handed me a mirror and my eyebrows were extremely thin, short, and uneven. I looked over to see what she had used and there was a RAZOR. I got up and told her I was unhappy with the shape and my face started to burn around my eyes. She gave me an attitude and said your eye brows were all zig-zag! then walked away. I was still charged. That wasn't the worst of it. Besides, not getting the shape I wanted I came home and my face was on fire. I was up until 3am from the razor burn. I have cuts under my eyes. Some of the smaller cuts are healing but I have one small scar where the cut was deep. Someone who has shaky hands should NEVER use a razor around the eye area. That is a huge safety concern. Its not all about making money!! I called her the next day and she's so rude. She has this attitude about her and she said its in the contract, if I want to shave your eyebrows, I will shave them. So ridiculous and unprofessional of her. Who shaves someone's eyebrows? specially after a facial when your skin is so sensitive. Also, I had never singed an eye brow contract. I LOVE DEA SKIN CENTER! I was referred to Linette fo laser hair removal treatmonts back in November and have been going since! Linette is very professional and knows exactly what she is doing-has been doing this for many many years....!!! I believe she said 14 years!!!! I am basically hair free in a matter of 3-4 months!!!! DEA Skin Center is the BEST salon i ever been too. Im person who goes their every month for my laser hair removal treatment and i have to tell you the results i get their comparing other laser salons ive been at are very different. Its so amazing how their laser machines work and actually for real help you with removing your hair, not just hair gone for one month and came back same amount next month but actually hair is gone and less hair comes back next month and as each month i go to finish all my sessions i see less and less hair coming out. Im so proud of this DEA Skin Center and all the treatments i get their, I feel so much beautiful and much younger after i come out from thatsalon. If i were to reccomend anyone to go to any Skin center for any purpose of hair removal or any other treatments you need for you body that you wana take care of, i would definatly recooment this DEA Skin Center. DEA skin centre is an amazing place to go and get your skin treatments done. Its very beautiful; inside the salon its nice and very clean, and really nice assistence work their. Threw my experiance going their and getting my hair removal with laser done by the owner Aida it was so amazing how each time i go i have less and less hair come out. I have tried many different laser places for my hair removal for almost my whole body and none worked as good as this Dea skin center helped me with. Im really glad that i got to know about this DEA skin center and progress i get from it with a great results. THIS IS THE LAST PLACE ANYONE SHOULD GO! I have a HUGE SCAR on my body because of their so called "great treatments." After one of their treatments, they send me home without any instructions and I had a huge infection (and a painful one) the next day. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE!!!!! They are not as professional as they seem. Once you get a scar, they will convince you to think that it is going away and that they are going to fix it. Let me tell you something, SCARS ARE PERMANENT and YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO FIX THEM. I have tried everything and it is still there. Every day I wish I had never gone for any treatments. Everytime I see my HUGE SCAR, I just want to cry. I just want another person not to experience the same pain and suffering I went through. I would suggest you visit a professional dermatologist and pay three times more for the same services than to people who have a few certificates and claim to be very professional. read more

I don't usually write reviews on yelp, but this is a must! I've gone to many, many spas and skin cliniques for acne treatments since my teenage years and have not felt the same results as this place. I was pretty nervous as first to try yet another new place, but my friend convinced me to go for a consultation( which by the way is free). After speaking to Aida about the different treatments that will suit my skin, I felt confident enough to schedule an appointment the next day. I got the Deep Pore cleaning facial, which lasted about an hour and a half (not 15-30 mins like other places). She put numerous masks on my face followed by many extractions. My skin felt more alive and cleaner, to the point that my nose and forehead were shining! I've been going to see Aida for about a month now and I see a MAJOR difference in my skin!! Its an amazing place.The atmosphere is really relaxing, from the front reception desk to the lounge with other guests. I was treated very friendly and felt very relaxed... especially after my small massage. BEST facial I have had in LA! The specialists are very professional and amazing! Aida t not only left my skin glowing, she was super sweet and really took her time talking to me about my skin. She worked on my face, and gave me a killer neck massage...it was AMAZING. I almost fell asleep. My skin looked SO much better when I left there. The spa itself is out of this world too...or at least out of LA. I began coming to DEA from a very young age, and as the years go by I can not be more happier with all the good results!! I had tons of acne and numerous acne scars on my chin which are now gone due to all the procedures that I got. And believe me when I say that Aida knows what she's doing, because I've been to MANY facial spas where they just made my face worse than it already was... The prices are reasonable and the procedures take a well amount of time unlike other places that just rush through it. There are different types of facials for all skin type and not just one standard facial. She also has a variety of skin products to choose from. After my facial my skin started to peel and felt really dry. The peeling was around my nose, all over my chin area, and some parts of my cheeks. I was not able to leave the house for several days. All the facial descriptions on their website got me excited and I thought I was going to see positive results but now I know first hand it was a lie, an expensive lie! I went in for a regular facial. Only one mask was applied to my face and I was charged $150. The receptionist tried to convince me that the esthetician told her I received additional treatments that my skin needed. Besides the one mask I did not receive any other treatment. Be aware of this place, your skin is not in good hands and they will overcharge you! read more

Aida is the best no matter how many esthetician u will go to u will always feel she's different then the rest cuz she really is. She's a medical esthetician with extensive years of experience and i've going to her for 10 years now and still look like i did when I was 21 thanks to her. she always give my face different combos which i love and results are amazing within days I feel flawless depending if i had extraction done it takes longer to heal but once it healed looks flawless. She get rid of all those nasty whiteheads and blackheads which i hate but my skin tends to make them cuz I eat salt and sugary sutff but stay away from that it looks better. I have been going for facials to Aida for the past 10 years and my mom goes too! We have been extremely happy with her services cuz she really know what she is doing. She is a medical esthetician which is far more advanced then a regular one.. My face always looks so clean after a few days and feel my skin has been reborn again. I just love Dea Skin Centre. A friend of mine referred me to Aida Azaryan in December 2010. I went there in the end of January 2011. And the experience i had with them was amazing! I absolutely love their products! my favorite is the vitamin c serum and the pure hydration. As far as facial treatments I've so far had the hydro facial and the chocolate facial!
