I heard about Luminous Spa through Yelp. I've been receiving B12 shots for about five years, and after recently moving, I chose Luminous Spa primarily for the convenience. My previous provider didn't offer Saturday appointments and had limited weekday availability, which made it difficult to fit into my work schedule. The online booking process was simple and straightforward, which I appreciated--they don't overwhelm you with reminders or advertisements. I was assisted by Karina, who was gracious, kind, and very knowledgeable. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions about why I take B12 shots and walked through my lifestyle and health to better understand my needs. I appreciated that she was able to answer all of my questions. When I asked about another service, she even advised that if I'm already doing B12 shots, I didn't need it--encouraging me to save my money. It's always reassuring to work with someone who clearly has your best interests in mind. The location is clean, modern, and comfortable, with air purifiers throughout. The staff greets you right away and ensures they understand your needs. They offer packages, and checkout was quick and easy. Parking was easy for me that day, but keep in mind that the spa is located in a strip mall with several food and ice cream shops, so parking can be more challenging depending on the time you visit. Not complaining about the workers but I was in for laser treatment my second session initially I was quoted $25 per session after today session I was asked to pay double the price of $50 per session without being warned about the the price increase I felt they took advantage of me i will not go back, i never heard of a 100% increase in pricing in such little time. So happy I was able to make it to The Luminous Flintridge Med Spa in La Cañada. I went back for another facial with Cecilia, who was my esthetician! Woo!...but this was my first time at this location. I got Microdermabrasion done along with a light dermalogica TCA chemical peel. I cannot recommend Cecilia enough! She's always super friendly and knowledgeable, and again, she walked me step by step to let me know what she was doing and what I would be feeling, (which was a tingling sensation on my end.) She used a machine to kill the bacteria on my face and then went in with the chemical peel. I didn't feel any pain, just tingling and my face wasn't red at all after the session. It looks dewy and felt so smooth and clean. To finish off, she gave me a nice little arm and neck massage. Thank you Cecilia for always taking care of me! I always leave so satisfied under your care. I recently came in to get a B12 shot, Lip filler, and Micro-needling. Karina was able to do all these services for me and she did an amazing job for every single one. The B12 shot was quick and easy, I never even felt the needle. My lip filler turned out amazing and I have never been happier. She made sure my lips were numbed properly and she gave me an ice pack to keep, to reduce swelling. The Micro-needling was also done perfectly. My skin has never looked or felt better. Never did I feel out of place or intimidated by my poor skin care history either! The decor of the MedSpa was soothing and the location is outstanding! I can see why this place is rated so highly! First of all it's well designed, clean and beautiful! They have have many drink options to choose from including cold drinks and coffee. This Med spa is very professional. The special I got was really what brought me in. Botox is affordable here. I've been feeling insecure about my frown lines, and and forehead wrinkles. To have my wrinkles smoothed out with Botox is just a relief -- for I needed some to fill up my lines in my forehead for such a long time. I really think that nothing works like Botox. In a short time span I was given some injections that were soothed soon after that --with a special cream they sell-- and also, I'd like to suggest whoever comes in have this treatment done by Alisa. The results are forming, and with her advice I know which ways to ensure that my delivered Botox is doing it's best to settle in and which things to do post care and to steer clear of anything that could possibly mess it up. It was such a supportive experience, and I would like to come back and, try some other things they offer, and for a follow up in a couple months. The service was well done, and I felt informed and guided on the whole procedure, the response time to the Botox, the after care, and some of what was needed for my specific forehead wrinkles.
