I am an online car shopper and was in need of a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI). I saw that Scott's Greely Auto specialized in German cars in addition to others so that was the first plus for me in selecting their shop as the place I was going to place my trust in to inspect the vehicle I was hoping to purchase (BMW X5). I could not have been more happier with going to Scott's, from the first phone call with Bradley and working with Carson, they provided nothing short than some of the best customer service I have come across in a very long time. The staffs willingness to take my vehicle in within the week to perform the task was just awesome, you rarely get that anywhere here in Phoenix, and so that alone told me a lot, because an inspection fee is typically not much but it requires time, so for them to drop what they were doing and perform what was needed AND to the detail in how they reported their findings was world class and utilizing current technologies to illustrate the checklist of items needing inspected, was awesome! I wanted to fly to Greeley to ensure the X5 upon sight and feel was the car for me, but instead of just going to the dealership first I had to thank the staff and meet Bradley and Carson, and that I did, and they were true to their service over the phone, two very nice people and class acts all the way. I want to thank both of them and the staff that worked behind the scenes to provide that peace mind and giving me that green light to purchase a vehicle that was safe for my family to travel in, and all I have to say is YOU GUYS ROCK! Very expensive and unreliable. Their district manager lady is one of the rudest people. Multiple times I had my vehicle there just to have to bring it back for another repair that cost thousands. Finally just gave up my vehicle it was cheaper than paying these scam artists. Never go to Scott's they will rip you off. read more

This shop resolved an issue with my car but charged me for $200 for shop fees. For simple repairs that charged $900 for service fees. Beware of this shop as they will find ways to overcharge!!! read more

They had our car for over a week diagnosing the problem. They couldn't find the part needed to fix it. We finally had to pick up the car without the problem being fixed. They charged us $700. Our income is $1200 a month. We had to scrape up money from our son and friends to pay for this. read more

The service manager was very polite very helpful for me. And also he did the time that he required that my Honda Civic would be done at 2 o'clock was actually done earlier than 2 o'clock. I usually do my own work on vehicles and have had great success, This one though is the newest vehicle I have had and is not as easy as the others to diagnose. Issue was a diagnostic code of p0301 which is a cylinder 1 misifre. Took the normal steps of spark plug and wire on all cylinders and also changed the ignition coil on cylinder 1. Even after resetting the computer the problem kept coming up, did some other things including pouring several different chemicals into the spark plug hole to try to free the cylinder. I dont trust auto shops because I have been bamboozled in the past. I called several after not being able to fix the issue. When I called Scotts, the man on the other end sounded knowledgable and sounded familiar with my issue, so I went ahead and made an appointment. It cost about 200 dollars for the diagnostics, only to be told it was a stuck lifter and the engine would need to be replaced. After I picked up my vehicle, I went home to look for solutions other than replacing the motor. A few days later, I get an email from Scotts including a carfax. The CARFAX states, "due to poor maintenance there is sludge in the engine." I have only had the vehicle for 20000 miles, I have changed the oil 5 times. The CARFAX also states that because there is no oil change sticker I must not be doing oil changes. Also, they have continued to send repeat emails stating I need to follow up on appointments, after telling me my engine needs replaced why would I worry about replacing wiper blades? I will not be making other appointments, nor will I recommend this company. What a load of bullshit, and people wonder why its difficult to trust automotive shops. Scotts Greeley read more

This place was recommended by Jay's Automotive in Eaton, Colorado do do an ABS brake bleed on a Subaru... would not even give a price for the service. I was told I would be charged $60.00 - $100.00 to "diagnose" then would get a price to bleed the brake system and the diagnostic fee was not a part of the actual service I was requesting....WHAT A SCAM! I guess Scotts and Jay's are peas of a pod... both out to jist make money regaurdless instead of treat customers right while making money. Another disgraceful repair facility! read more

They charge more than what Mercedes of Loveland would have charged to diagnose a problem. It's supposed to be less expensive to have your car worked on at a off brand mechanic shop. Not here! If you are looking to save money on repairs on your car, I would strongly recommend going straight to the dealer than going here. They will not save you $1, in fact you will end up spending more! read more

I took my Mercedes Benz c300 with 65k miles on it to Scott's two months ago for a check engine light and the car was in limp mode, Norm told me I needed to replace my spark plugs and so I did, $647 later I thought my car was fixed. 3 weeks later I had the same issue, and took my car back to Scott's where norm told me my piston rings were bad and I needed to replace my entire motor and would cost me 10k. I had the car take to European motors in Fort Collins where I was told my crank case motor valve is bad. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO SCOTTS! They do not know foreign cars. I was told by multiple mechanics you have a better shot of winning the lottery or being struck by lightning than the piston rings going out on a motor with 65k miles. Also when norm pulled my spark plugs he would've seen the car was burning oil and nothing was mentioned to me to indicate that it was. DO NOT LET SCOTTS IMPORTS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! read more

The dealership told me I was 1500 miles from being metal on metal on my back brake pads and when I took it to Norm, he called me and said I still had another 30,000 miles and 30-40% left on my brakes. Thank you for being an honest shop! You saved me hundreds of dollars and even though I live in Denver, I'll be scheduling any future maintenance with you. read more
