Because of the bland flavor and hard rice, I don't recommend this dish. My friend said her harvest bowl was good so perhaps I should have gotten that.

Really wanted to love this place. I absolutely love diners and when I went in I loved the atmosphere. We sat right on the stool and was behind the chef. He was really friendly and kept us entertained the whole time. The service was also great - the girls really helpful and friendly. However, I was really disappointed with the food. My french toast was nothing special - and I know butter always makes food better but it was just too much butter. Our home fries were ok but werent seasoned too well. I have ate at Deb's Diner many times. I have always found the food to be GREAT!!! The head cook Bill definately knows what he is doing with food. Bill is also very personalable and gets along with all the customers great. He makes the atmosphere wonderful and pleasant to eat there. As long as Bill is the head cook I will keep going back. This has never happened to us before so we asked what I think is the owner and explained our situation. She just looked at us and said never mind breakfast is on me. Who does that? Anyway, I grabbed the bill and we left laughing about our stupidity. On the way home grab day. Thank you card at CVS and wrote a check out and sent it to the diner. I never thought of the diner again until I saw an advertisement for it and said I have to go give it a review. Not only is it great food, not only is it great service, not only is it a wonderful retro place, but the owner is one of a kind. By the way, I paid much more than the bill with a little note.
