I'm a huge fan of the breakfast sandwiches - freshly made, bagels are pretty good and while I'm not a huge fan of potatoes I like their hashbrowns a lot. My better half typically gets the Hungry Man Breakfast- 2 eggs, meat, pancakes, potatoes and toast for only 14 bucks. Can't beat it. Parking right in front was a big plus for me. The restaurant and restroom would not work well for someone in a wheelchair but it sufficed for us. The service was quick, accurate and friendly. This particular waitresss had a very thick Greek accent and was hard to understand. . While I was still ordering, she walked away. I called her back over, and asked what kind of bagel she put down, because she hadn't asked me. She said I didn't say, so the cook was using a plain bagel. I said I wanted an onion bagel. So, after she served my friend, she said she would ask for an onion bagel. Guess what? I know what an onion bagel looks like. She brought me out the same bagel, and I said, "That's not an onion bagel". She said, "No, the first wasn't, but this one is." I answered that no, it wasn't, and she said "that's what we have, but he said it's an onion bagel. See these specks of onion?" I said back, "I see a few dark crumbs, but no, it isn't. But, while you're here, he ordered hash browns and you gave him home fries." Maybe this all seems petty. But, so many breakfast places don't get it wrong, three different ways, in one trip. I'm also a big fan of the lunch the Reuben is one of the best around town, they still serve a real club sandwich taste great grilled chicken with salad and fries another favorite. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant always looks clean. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall with parking out front I have never had trouble getting a spot. They are currently open during Covid for Dine in service they also do takeout. The prices are extremely fair and well worth the high-quality food that they prepare. I would highly suggest them for breakfast or lunch. FYI they are not open in the evenings and I believe during Covid they're closing at 3 PM so I would call if you're gonna be going over any later than that to see if they will still be available. read more

Since my family wouldn't drop me at the airport due to construction anxiety, I was under duress to find an Uber there and this was my stop southbound to my destination. Initially I was just using it as a semi-convenient Uber pick up spot but it ended up being a serendipitous lunch spot, too. Absolutely Incredible Restaurant!!!!! I came here for a breakfast date with one of my best friends and I am so happy we found this local spot! I've been making it a point to eat locally and Nick's Deli and restaurant is One of the hidden gems of Revere. When my friend and I entered we were immediately seated by the kind young lady who greeted us with a warm smile. The menu is expansive and versatile for any palette. We were so hungry we each ordered a meal along with some pancakes and a waffle! When I placed my order I asked that my corn beef hash be a little bit crispy and also for my home fries to be crispy as well; the server did not flinch she happily wrote down my request, and when my food arrived I was ecstatic to see that the chef made my order exactly the way that I placed it. I got 2 eggs, with corned beef hash and home fries a pancake and a Belgium waffle... it was sooooooo good!!! My friend ordered the eggs Florentine, there was no evidence of any food on her plate when she was done; rumor has it the hollandaise sauce is made in house and to live for also it's definitely worth it to get the waffle even if you ordered something else... I'm still thinking about it 24hrs later! Hot chocolate just the way I like it along with the amazing meal I must say breakfast at Nick's Deli and Restaurant was a success. they do not use gloves when handling their food no one in the kitchen wears gloves. I seen someone come straight from outside go into the kitchen grabbed food with no gloves and threw it on a plate and sent it out. Not the first time I seen something like this there. Another time the cook had a obvious cold sneezing and hacking all over the kitchen he also handled the food with NO GLOVES! I generally don't write reviews, but felt compelled to write this as my one and only experience eating at Nick's Deli was horrible! My daughter, granddaughter (10 months) and I sat at a booth, which was fine. COVID restrictions were in place with plexi-glass in between booths, social distancing and masks worn by patrons and servers. We ordered breakfast and the food was average. I was hoping for natural casing breakfast sausages, instead received frozen-type sausages and my over-easy eggs were on the hard side. My main issue was with the server/service. When the waitress came over to our table to take our order, she bent over and accidentally dropped her hairnet on the table. Thinking it was a ball of dust, I asked what it was, she replied with "Oh, it's my hairnet, I'm supposed to be wearing it." She then continued to bend over and rest her elbows on the table when writing our order on her notepad, which I thought was weird for her to do during COVID. The server then brought over the wrong food to our table not once, but twice. The second time, she placed the plate in front of me and scooted away. I had to call her back and tell her it was not my order. This was pretty disappointing given that we are in COVID times. I certainly would not want my food floating around to different tables or left with another patron for any period of time. Overall, the food was OK but the server was terrible. It did take a while for our waitress to come over, but this seems to be a "welcome, you're on our time now" kind of place. The couple next to us had some awesome looking wraps, and we almost indulged ourselves before choosing other options. My wife had the mushroom and cheese omelette and was so impressed with how large it was. Her only complaint was that they used canned mushrooms, and could have simply used fresh mushrooms for nearly the same price and better quality overall. I had the grilled cheese with tomato which was in one of the top 5 grilled cheeses I've ever had. Our friend had the turkey club which was MASSIVE! This place is right around a few corners from my house and I walk by it all the time, yet I never ventured inside until three weeks ago. That is weird considering the fact that I have lived here nearly 11 years and I am always whining about not having good breakfast options available. My roomie and I wanted breakfast and we decided to be different and head someplace we have never been; this is where we landed. It was a Sunday and the parking situation could have been awkward since there are not many spaces around, but we managed to find one. When we walked in, we were greeted right away and seated in an area that wasn't super crowded. I ordered an omelet with toast and homefries and my roomie got one of the combos. The plates we received were MASSIVE. I am no Slim Jim and there was NO way I was going to finish all of that in one sitting. I ended up taking some home and eating it for breakfast the next day. That probably sounds crazy, but I was not about to waste all of that...ha ha. My main issue with the place is the coffee. It was pretty terrible and adding cream and sugar diluted what was already fairly weak. If I went there again, I would probably opt for some tea or something. No way they can mess that up. Since coffee is an essential part of my breakfast when I go out and this was subpar, I had to take off a star. I would place them at 3.5, but Yelp doesn't let me play halfsies, so they land at 3. Get some better coffee and I will rethink that. read more

I can't believe no one has reviewed Nick's! This place is ridiculously packed on the weekends. It's definitely a local favorite, and everything about it just reeks of the familiar. If you're from the area, you're bound to run into someone you know, and if not, I'm always spotting people I think I recognize. "Wait, was that lady a substitute teacher at Lincoln?" I never go up and verify it because it's been years, and I don't want the group of 4 behind me to think I'm not in line for a booth. There's no one to take down names or let you know of the wait. It's based totally on customer etiquette - you just patiently wait for the next available table and hope those behind you have the manners to know that you were there first. And so far, rudeness has never been an issue. If you do decide to stay the wait (which really isn't bad at all, 15-20 minutes tops) the food is pretty good. Omelets, pancakes, waffles and if you can't decide, you can order the hungry man, which is eggs, toast, pancakes and your choice of breakfast protein. The prices have steadily risen over the years I've been going, but it's nothing too overwhelming to keep me away. The service is always fast and friendly with free coffee refills. And the coffee's pretty darn good! The downside - there's no eggs benedict on the menu. They'll poach your eggs and slap it on some Canadian bacon and english muffin, but they replace the hollandaise sauce with cheese. I'm just not into that. read more

The waitresses are warm and friendly. It is decorated with green vines and abby road posters and there is a window giving you direct views of the kitchen in the neighbooring pizza place. I have had omelettes here and they have been tasty. I also had whole wheat chocolate chip pancakes that were amongst the best I had. Their homefries are the best I have had, ever.
