There are mugs, pins, clothes & other household items that are fairly unique. As you would imagine, prices are on the steeper side considering most items are old/used, maybe rare. Closest cross streets, Harvard & Bonita in the city of Claremont, quaint & quirky, situated right next to a sandwich shop & a succulent garden.

However I've noticed since I have had a baby and bring in a stroller, the employees follow me throughout the entire store. Last night was the third time this had happened and this was a bit out of control. I was in the back area and the mall associate literally stood next to my stroller the entire time. He literally could've just pushed it. I was on one end and he was at the handles. Just standing there. The entire time. He was pretending to take photos but it was obvious he was just following me. Everytime I moved or stopped. He moved and he stopped. This store must have a lot of theft which is sad. But as someone who used to make multiple purchases in this store - I will no longer be frequenting. I don't know what type of profiling this is. Strangely my other friend with a stroller wasn't being followed. Whether it's because I have a stroller and they think I'm going to dump things in there or what, I'm an adult. With money and a baby. I don't need to steal. But I guess I'm not buying either.

My friend and I lugged around 6 bags of clothes in hopes of dropping it off. We then entered the building and saw three female employees sorting items and asked where to drop off our stuff and all 3 of them responded with attitudes and acted oblivious as if we didn't just talk to one of them and they told us that 3 people already dropped off and filled their slots after just calling 15 minutes ago which is highly unbelievable. Horrible experience no accountability. Businesses should be more respectful and mindful of the gas and time people take to travel to drop things off, unbelievable.

You can also park in the back, near the area where donations are dropped off. I usually come on Tuesdays, where discounts usually don't apply to me. I like Wednesday's where there are student/teacher discounts. To my luck, I went on a spin the wheel day today! You get to spin the wheel after your purchase for an opportunity to win items or get a discount. I like browsing their toys, vintage items, and office supplies. I usually get very good second hand items such as staplers, hole punchers, DVDs, shoes, and board games. This location is actually my favorite place to shop for vintage film cameras (I'm afraid to post this because my fellow Yelp friends will be coming more to grab them before I do!). Today, I bought a good pocket minolta film camera, some stuffed animals, and some office supplies. The cashiers are sweethearts and are willing to help you look at items! The pricing was another thing that surprised me. A lot of the prices didn't really make sense for a thrift store and felt on the higher side compared to other spots I've visited. The atmosphere was just missing something. No cool decor, no personality, and overall the vibe wasn't there for me. It feels like it caters more to an older crowd, which is totally fine, but just not my style of thrifting. Also, no restroom available, which is always frustrating when you're shopping and spending time looking around. 4/10 for me.
