Classes are so expensive. $275. For 5 classes of nose work (not private but with up to 8 people…read moreand their dogs taking turns in the training room one at a time). So approx. 15 mins instruction and training per dog. Class is 1.5 hrs. My roommate paid for the series of classes.. and unplanned she ended up in the hospital Emergency Room and had to have emergency orthopedic surgery. She texted and left a VM that she wouldn't be attending the classes the night before class started and asked to Be refunded the $275. They told her said NO to a refund.Too bad if you have an emergency. Our class isn't full and we couldn't fill the spot. But we will let you pay another $137.50 to sign up for another series in the future. So they kept the initial $275. And my roomie paid another 137.50 to be able to take said classes once she's all healed up and can walk again. They gave her a credit of 137.50 if she signed up to take the classes again. If she didn't there is no refund!! So that is 412.50 for 5 classes at approx 15min of ins time each week. So that ends up being a hour and 1/2 of instruction for 412.50. Holy Crap!! A huge rip off and absolutely crap business management for Dogs day out. Ok and my roomie has worked in the dog business in W Seattle for over 30 yrs and has referred dozens of dogs to this establishment over this years. She is going to take the classes that she paid 412.50 for so she isn't out the full amount she paid. But what a huge crock of doo doo. A poor business rule and my god she had to have emergency surgery. I know for a fact she will never refer another client to them or ever return to Dogs Day out for any classes herself. If I were her I'd also let my dog clients who she's referred to this biz about this if it comes up in convo. About this practise. Whatever happened to professional courtesy between biz owners in the same dog world. Or compassion when they end up having emergency surgery. I for one am really floored by this experience my roomie is going through!!!

Everything was great. Total professionals here and very trust worthy. It's great to have a back up place for something like this. We do take our pups with us as much as we can but sometimes you go places they can't go and sometimes you can't get relatives to watch them, this is the next best thing. We did use another service closer to us once before and was not as good. These folks are definitely good. 5 stars!

Sookie is a 5 yr old high energy terrier I adopted and she shares a small 600 sq ft apartment in Belltown with me. I have an office job that leaves poor Sookie on her own most days and without daily long walks or off active off leash play, Sookie would have destroyed our little home a long time ago. But thanks to Robin's park visits, Sookie's gets lots off frisky dog pack action under Robin's watchful supervision. I like how she interviews any perspective dog and owner before letting them into her congenial dog pack. Sookie has never come home hurt, frightened or even muddy after a park walk with Robin and her pack. Moreover, Robin is reliable and trustworthy. I gave her a key to my apartment and we've never had a problem. She also gives me notice when she won't be available so I can have a friend pitch hit for her. I also board Sookie with Robin several times a year and found Robin to be very diligent about special diets and medication. But please don't expect to just dump your puppy on her the same day you ask. She's a normal person with a life like the rest of us. Anyone thinking of using AXtion K9 should know that Robin prefers payment in advance. I pay her one month in advance and have never had an issue over an overpayment. Our initial contact was over the phone and after that, was a smooth process of organizing dates and a face to face meeting which all went very well. Brea seemed very easy going and comfortable acclimatizing to our home almost immediately. For the duration of our time away, I received numerous updates, videos and photos via text message. I could tell that my kitties were happy as Brea's photos and videos showed them playing with her, being active etc. Although I missed them like crazy, I was not at all worried about them, which made our vacation more enjoyable. Upon arriving home, everything was well taken care of. The litter box was cleaned, their food station was up to par and our mail was even collected for us. Our keys were returned in a very timely manner. Cosmic Home and Pet was affordable and our experience with them was just excellent. Nola rescued me when she arrived at Seatac (from a Texas shelter) back in 2013. It was obvious from the start that my sensitive girl had been through some tough times and I was going to need some help in figuring things out. Sharon was incredible, right from the start! She taught me how to be patient and understand Nola's behavior... and most importantly, how to react and 'check' my own behavior. Sharon taught me so much in such a short period of time. The first day, I didn't receive photos but when I asked Marvis, the next day, they sent them for that day and the rest of the week with little updates. That's all I wanted...above and beyond! I've taken my dogs to Ahimsa forever and it never smelt like that. But I could look past it, after all, it is a doggy boarding place. The woman at the front gave me a card and told me to reach out to them at the trainers would call me back the next day. I did that immediately. Nobody ever called me. I did it the next day nobody ever called me. I called them and they gave me somebody to email that is a trainer. He said he would call me the next day, never did. he didn't give me a cell phone and said I could text him to schedule a time to talk which I did. Next day, I called him at that time, and he didn't answer. I will tell you he called back like six minutes later, but it was already "4 strikes you're out" for me
