We are visiting friends who have been here many times. They told us the food was good and thought it would be a fun evening. We had a small dog with us, who was welcome to sit with us at the open air table. The setting is great! We had a perfect table overlooking the water. Arriving at 700pm, our waiter took our drink order and delivered it promptly. We were catching up with friends, so we weren't in a hurry. The atmosphere was festive, it's great to be dining out again, and I was comfortable with the open-air options. By the time our food arrived, the restaurant had cleared out. It took more than an hour for an appetizer to arrive, and even longer for the entrees. Our waiter apologized many times for the delay, and the manager even comped our first round of drinks. When the food did arrive, the orders were not correct, and the two burgers ordered were overcooked. I had a Mahi Mahi fish sandwich that I'd rate as excellent, the fish tacos were also excellent. We will come back again, and do so on another weeknight until they have enough practice serving crowds on the weekends. read more

Ate lunch at Deck 84 today visiting from New York. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was Sidney!!

This restaurant is right on the inter coastal waterway. The food was really good. We had a few issues when it came to receiving the check. They had a deal where the kids meal is $1 with the order of an adult entree. We ended up ordering my son a pasta dish with chicken. It was on the kids menu for i believe $7.95. When we received the bill, it was $14.95 because they added the chicken to the pasta. I asked about the $1 meal and they explained that it was only one per table. (We has another child with us) and they gave it to them even though we were paying on different bills. When I explained his meal was an option on the children's menu they said they would change it. When the waitress came back, she gave us the $1 meal for my son. Because of this service, I would without a doubt go back to this restaurant. Bummer. Wa a so in the mood for tuna salad but the dressing had too much wasabi and ruined the dish. Broke my heart. Also got a key lime martini, compared with three other restaurants in the area this one was the worst, just sickly sweet. My nephew had grouper, cooked perfectly but served with black goop that they dared to call black beans. Service mediocre at best. read more

Came here with my family for NYD brunch but really lunch and we had excellent service from Alexis who was very friendly and helpful with our party. Most of my family ordered salads while my mom and I both ordered flatbreads. I chose the pear, bacon brittle flatbread which was topped with Brie and arugula with balsamic vinaigrette and a balsamic drizzle. My mom got the mushroom with Monterrey jack, caramelized onions and truffle oil. The flatbreads were good but when I realized that they had blackened chicken, I should have ordered a salad. We got to the restaurant at a perfect time because as we were finished, it started to get busy. My only complaint is that when I booked the reservation, I was informed that they were going to have some brunch (breakfast) specials. When we got there, we were told that wasn't the case. Would have liked correct info. I would come back again, to try the conch chowder and maybe chicken wings. read more

Very nice atmosphere. Service was great. Kids love sitting outside seeing all the boats pass. We love the spicy chicken wings. There is also parking on site. Valet parking is $4. It is so worth it than having to go look for parking. read more

I would like to share the amazing experience we had at Deck 84 this evening. We arrive by our boat on a regular basis and the dock master, Mike is always so helpful and professional. Unfortunately we witnessed a terrible situation on an HCB boat docked behind us. The passengers were very obnoxious yelling at the Dockmaster as they were departing. The fee to dock at Deck 84 for over a 40' boat is clearly $20. They gave him $3 and after he shared the fee is actually $20 they threw $20 on the dock and screamed obscenities that he was not worth their money. Mike completely contained his professionalism. It is such a shame that people can act in this manner. I did not think it was fair that this boatload of people could post such an inaccurate statement of events. The food here and is consistently good. Please do not base your opinion on visiting Deck 84 on one unfair rating! read more

Probably the best thing about Deck 84 is the perfect location on the water and the outdoor bar that allows you to enjoy the view of the water, boats, and weather, while incredible live music plays and you enjoy your food and drinks! I have not really sat inside the restaurant because I love the outdoor seating so much but I can tell you that Deck 84 is worth coming to whether it is sunshine or rain!! It is always a good time! I tend to bring anyone who visits from outside of FL to Deck 84! Awesome place and I definitely recommend!! read more

This is the perfect place to take people visiting from out of town. Or a go-to spot after a long week. Or a place to sit and watch a football game along the water. Last night, it was the long week option that brought us to one of our favorite spots. We didn't order anything fancy, but I tried the blackened shrimp Caesar salad for the first time and it was incredible. Joe was our waiter and he was attentive, knowledgeable of the restaurant and the area, and ready to give suggestions. I'm sure he's helped out a lot of Delray's visitors. There are many choices along the Avenue and this is not one to skip! read more

We took our guests to Deck 84 on March 24th. There were 3 children in our group. We had to wait for our table and did our best to keep the children occupied while waiting at the bar. It was over an hour wait. We were rather unsettled by the time we got to our table. Everything changed when our waitress, Alexia came to our table. She was so sweet, friendly and professional, she immediately put us all at ease. She made sure the children's food orders were put in immediately and brought their drinks right away. Once they were settled, we were all happy. Throughout our meal, Alexia went above and beyond to make sure we were well attended to and taken care of. She made the evening a complete success, while taking care of many other tables and giving them all her attention. This restaurant is family friendly and Alexia really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone she waits on has the best evening possible. read more

Came here for lunch and they never disappoint!! Sat outside on the water and watch the boats. Brought our wine. Started with a shrimp cocktail - cocktail sauce could be a little spicer -maybe some fresh horseradish?? The tomato salad with the shrimp is delicious!! Then my friend had the crab cake and it had a small salad with it - both very good. I had chicken wraps and loved them. We split the coconut rice - have to try this at home so good!!
