After my last meal at Le Sorelle, I'm lowering my star rating once again. Honestly, if out of town visitors didn't chose Le Sorelle, I never would have gone. And after this last visit, I will be passing on any future visits. We had a 6:30 pm reservation for 5 on a recent Saturday Night. That afternoon we asked if we can add one more person (so 6 in total) and were told we'd need to arrive at 6:15 pm. Logistically, that makes zero sense. The extra table seat wouldn't be a problem, and adding 15 minutes for the kitchen for 1 extra meal? But, ok. We arrived to a nearly empty restaurant at 6:15. We are catching up, looking at the menus and within 10 minutes the owner is hovering over us asking for our orders. We ask for another few minutes -- we hadn't even gotten our drinks. He tells us we have 2 hours so we have to hurry. Look, I live down the block from Le Sorrelle. I pass it night after night, and yes, it's has its nights where it is party central. People love to host family events there. But most of the time, this place is sorely wanting for business. And while perhaps Le Sorrelle did fill up after we left, there was plenty of seating when we did slip out, well in advance of our 2-hour limit. As for the food -- I can only speak to what I ordered. A Caesar salad and Pizza Margherita. Both were awful. And I'm really not just saying that because of the restaurant experience that night. I previously had pizza at Le Sorrelle (albeit, years ago now) and it was quite good. Perhaps the cheese pizza would have been. As for a good Caesar salad, run, don't walk to Segreto Italia. Actually, just go to Segreto Italia, because Chris, Joey and Chip will treat you like gold and you'll have an overall outstanding experience. read more

My wife and kids took me here on Saturday night after getting great reviews from my wife's sisters. This place is amazing. The owner and manager treated us like gold. They love what they do and it shows. Our waiter was extremely personable and was incredible. He made the experience amazing. We started dinner with the pasta wheel which is made right next to your table. Freshly made pasta with tons of cheese. Very filling. Be careful because it comes with a little too much pepper which has a kick to it. Outstanding. My older son had the chicken parm and my younger son had pasta with better. Atmosphere is just perfect, food is delicious. The only reason why I didn't give it a five is because I have certain restrictions with my diet and there's not enough on the menu. I find them to be a little expensive for their food when looking at all the other options around. Other than that great place great experience great atmosphere you definitely won't go wrong. Truly a fabulous experience! The owner Candida is so warm, welcoming and ensuring everyone is well taken care of. Her team is fantastic too! Service was very attentive & attentive. It was one with shrimp), they served it to us already split onto two plates which we really appreciated. I absolutely LOVED this restaurant. The service was OUTSTANDING! The drinks (lemon drop and espresso) were delicious. The homemade bread was served warm with butter and sauce to dip. The servers, the bartender, the wait staff everyone was nice, and extremely attentive and Marco made us feel very welcomed, which made such a wonderful experience for our anniversary. This was our first time at the restaurant. The portion sizes were excellent! The fried calamari was out of this world! It was light and was served with fried calamari, shrimp, and fried julienne carrots and zucchini, and was absolutely delicious! For our meal we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the homemade pasta. So, I waited a while to write this so I could be objective. First, the tables are crammed into this space so that it might as well be family style dining. And, there's a man singing bad karaoke so loud you can't converse easily. But the worst was when the waiter dropped a bottle of wine in the middle of the table, sending glass and wine everywhere. Which didn't make sense was that there was more seafood than meat dishes and Christmas Day for Italians is traditionally a meat day. Capri opened in the Bronx in 1962. The family opened La Palma in Ponza, Italy. The three daughters grew up in the restaurant business and opened Le Sorelle, which means sisters, in Palm Beach County. They are known for wood-fired pizza, fresh seafood, steaks, homemade pasta, an extensive wine list, and handcrafted cocktails. Anna is the sister that made us feel at home on a Monday evening. We started with three salads, I enjoyed sharing my Caesar with my husband. I ordered the Le Sorelle seafood pasta with a bite of calamari, shrimp, clams, and mussels with every delicious piece of pasta in a red sauce. My husband ordered veal Parmesan that was enough for four people, the slice of veal filled the plate. others in our group ordered chicken Parmesan, chicken scallopini, and linguine with clams. Everything was à la cart and a small side bowl of pasta to compliment it the parmigiana was $10 each. The dessert menu looked delicious, but we could not finish our entrées and brought enough home in a big tin tray for a few nights. Dinner was delicious and our service was impeccable. Beyond amazing experience here for our first time. The owners were so kind, welcoming, and generous. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered calamari fritti (forgot to take a picture), which was so fresh, crispy and flavorful. The bolognese, carbonara and veal Milanese were absolutely perfect. "The Sisters" will put a smile on your face from the moment you walk through her doors! My wife and I ate here last week and we absolutely loved our food and the experience. The Italian food was big-portioned and perfectly cooked. For an appetizer, we had the Cacio e Pepe pasta prepared right in front of you in a parmigiana "bowl" with olive oil and black pepper - and extra cheese. The whole restaurant staff claps and sings whenever you get this dish. For entrees, I had the veal parmigiana and couldn't finish the second half - made scrumptious leftovers the next day! My wife got the seafood that is prepared in the tin foil - Filetto Di Pesce Al Cartoccio. It's pricey - but worth it. Fresh fish, mussels, clams, calamari and shrimps, prepared with cherry tomatoes, olio extravergine di oliva. She / we ate the whole thing and loved it. We were so full that we weren't going to have dessert, but then Marco came over (not sure if he owns the place or just works there - but he's awesome and very welcoming) and brought us an amazing ice cream / cake dessert with a Roman candle blasting out the top - and more singing ! It wasn't my birthday - but close enough !! The best part of Le Sorrelle - the staff. All the wait staff and bartenders seem so happy to work there. They sing, clap and dance with big smiles and laughs - and make you feel like family. The guy who sings at the front of the restaurant is hilarious - he mostly sings Karaoke songs on his own but was damn entertaining and engaging with all patrons. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately our experience fell short. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, which surprised us, but we decided to give it a chance anyway. We ordered espresso martinis that were extremely strong -- we asked kindly if they could be made a bit sweeter, but they came back even stronger than before. We barely took a sip and ended up paying $20 each for drinks we couldn't enjoy, which was actually more than the price of the pizza we ordered. The pizza itself was decent, but it's hard to overlook paying so much for cocktails we didn't drink. I should've read the reviews prior to coming because I was looking for an intimate restaurant to dine at with some friends who were visiting. We wanted to catch up! Instead we heard the birthday song being played about 15x and the cheese wheel theme song being played about 8x. Very loud when these songs are played. They also play the entirety of the song. Then they have hype men dancing and beating. It's entertaining but after a few times, it's a bit of an intrusion. The availability here is limited. I tried calling for a reservation and got late dining times for a few days I had in mind. Arriving here, I could clearly see that they were unable to sit us any earlier. They were packed. Some photos they had of food on their Yelp page weren't on their menu. I ended up trying their baked clams appetizer special, calamari, and a Bolognese. The baked clams special was a whopping $36. Very hefty price tag for an appetizer. They were good though. I actually loved everything I tried that night. I also got a chance to try my friend's cheese wheel pasta. Delicious. They make it a fun interactive moment at your table too when they wheel out the cheese wheel. They threw some cheese at our table and it was comical. We were greeted right away and asked if we had reservations, I got a little nervous and replied "no" but they sat us anyway. The service was Exceptional. The only drawback for me was everytime someone ordered the homemade fettuccine cacio e pepe they sang a song and it was cute the 1st time or two but after that it was annoying (for me) the place is small and the music is loud so during that time it was hard to talk to your dinner partner. I ordered the cacio Pepe. I was craving this pasta. It was pretty good and very flavorful. We went with the suggestion to get the most popular veal meal. Unfortunately It was very salty, it was heavily breaded and soggy, and was cooked to well done when we asked for medium. There was simply too much sauce so we really couldn't enjoy it. It was a large piece of veal with a ton of cheese and tomato sauce for $80 and we ate 1/4 of it and left it there because we simply could not eat it. We were disappointed with the dish. Get ready for a loud party environment with lots of excitement and good food! The restaurant is relatively small so make sure to call ahead for a reservation. There are a few bar seats and table seating on both sides of the restaurant but evenings and weekends, it's packed. Parking can be a little tricky. There are garages and metered parking in the surrounding streets but you may have to walk a bit. The service is good and food came out quickly after we ordered. One guest's entree was wrong, he said pasta and they put in the order as a pizza with the same name. Other than that, everything was delicious. My strozzapretti was cooked perfectly al dente with lots of pancetta and sauce. A hefty portion as well. My husband and I shared the pasta plus the Veal Parmigiano and still had left overs. The Veal was thin but tender and very cheesy. Love the nice char on it. The calamari appetizer was fresh and crisp. Nice little side salad and tangy marinara sauce came along with it. The hot toasty bread with olive oil on the table was great as well. Only issue we had was every 10 minutes there was very loud music and drumming/singing for birthday celebrations and the parmesan wheel presentation. I get that it's fun and everyone deserves their birthday celebrated but it was literally every 10 minutes and it went on for 5 minutes for every table in the restaurant on that Thursday night. The restaurant was incredibly noisy. loud, boisterous people, competing with an entertainer singing and playing an electric guitar and other piped in music. It was distracting. Annoying, The place was filled with people who looked like they were extras in the Soprano's series. And this is exactly whom they want to attract. And that's fine, I loved the Sopranos TV series, have seen it several times. But I don't love eating in a restaurant where the food is mediocre, only surpassed by the obnoxious diners. We were 4 at our table, and we had to shout just to be heard. The pizza was the hit on the menu, absolutely worth it. The pasta was unimpressive, even though it is made in house. I had jumbo shrimp, and while the shrimp were beyond jumbo, they were not tasty at all. Would I return? A hard NO. Unless I went earlier in the evening, and the guy singing wasn't there.
