In the end 4 moved forward with Nick and got new Redwood fences and gates for less than the cheap, ugly vinyl, from a different company, a few neighbors had been pulling for. I gave my phone number to that neighbor, and never heard from them again. I had two estimates one from legacy and another from a Huntington Beach based Fence Company. They had completely different quotes. I ended up going with legacy, because they were better communicators than their pricing was much more affordable. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. A suggestion from the internet was to weld a nut on top of the stripped bolt to remove it So I contacted Steve and explained my situation. I took my van to his place and he evaluated the problem. Steve came up with a better plan, thinking out of the box. He used welding blankets to cover my upholstery to fully protect my van during welding. And in a matter of minutes he removed the faulty part! Now I can complete the project and mount the ladder. Throughout Steve communicated with me. His price was very reasonable considering the time I spent, and tools I bought which didn't accomplish anything.
