We came by to try a new sandwich shop while in the area. It is a bit small inside with a few tables. I am glad we got there early. We ordered at the counter a cuban and a chef salad and drinks are all in cans and bottles. I thought the salad was a bit small for the price but did have a nice amount of meat and cheese. The cuban sandwich did have pulled pork and was pretty good. They stay busy with many take out orders. Overall it was ok. A fun restaurant celebrating 40 years. read more

This place is close by where I work and have been there twice so far, both times great. The first time I had the Mothers Special and this time the Worker, both were 8" sandwiches and both nicely packed with the goods. However, ordering the Worker I skipped the mayo and forgot to add oil and vinegar instead, a bit dry but that was my bad. Reading some of the other posts I need to order the meatball next. It's my Wednesday lunch trip. As far as service, there's three behind the counter taking care of business and quick to fill orders. Prices are fair with 12oz can drinks. Unassuming sub shop in a strip mall, but it's turning out delicious subs! Sandwiches are generously sized, quickly made and reasonably priced. I have tried a couple options and liked all of them, but I'm partial to the meatball, which comes with delicious meatballs, non-pasty sauce and plenty of cheese. Everything tastes fresh. And I owe this little 'discovery' down the road from my parents house in Largo all to my Mom...Momma does know best! Love the sandwiches here! It's not a fancy place, or a large place, but it's called Your Mother's for a reason, it's good basic fresh sandwiches like mom used to make when you can in for lunch. I love the turkey breast, they use the real stuff not that weird pressed lunchmeat stuff. They also use fresh baked bread for the utliamate fresh tasting sammy. Very reasonably priced and the salads are great too! Definitely worth a try read more
