I'm in Tampa, Florida for a 4-day seminar and was looking for a casual brunch spot for lunch when we found this place. At first, I honestly thought it would be bigger. It's more of a small hole-in-the-wall type of café. The food was good, but what really stood out to me was the service and the people running the place. You can immediately tell this is a mom-and-pop business where the owners genuinely care. They were constantly checking on customers, making sure everyone was taken care of, updating people about the food, and doing their best to make everyone feel comfortable and accommodated. At one point, I stood up because I was about to follow up on our order, and one of the guys immediately looked at me and said, "I got you, bro." That small moment actually meant a lot because it made me feel seen as a customer. They weren't oblivious or ignoring people even though they were busy. You can tell they work hard and really try to give good customer service. Because of that alone, I'm giving this place 5 stars. Support small businesses like this. read more

Food was amazing!! Loved how personal this place is and i can really feel that the owner pours a lot of passion into it. The owner continuously checked on us, we spoke about recipes and other creations he has come up with. great guy. His son works at the cafe as well and was just as great and attentive! My brother loved his chicken salad sandwich. My cheesesteak sandwich was incredible, the bread really made it. Only thing i will say is i wish there was a bit more salt on my sandwich and my sisters pizza wasn't as crispy butttt they took it right back and cranked it up for her!! super sweet. If you want quality homemade lunch or homemade pizza, this is the place. My coworkers and I had lunch this week and it was delicious. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with cheese. It was a much better chicken sandwich than your chain restaurants. The Bun seemed homemade. Coworker had the grilled cheese burger. He enjoyed it but actually ordered it in error. He didn't know the buns would be grilled cheese. I could smell the burger when it arrived at the table and it smelled fresh and tasty. Other coworkers have had their pizza and it was delicious. Always great no matter what we get. The calzone was amazingly delicious. We got here after 12 this time which means you sometimes have to wait a bit in line (8-10 minutes). Make sure to be a little early for lunch if you're in a hurry but if you're not then it's always worth the wait. read more

So we finally got to try the breakfast pizza and it did not disappoint. The pizza has 16 eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese. It was definitely worth it. It tasted amazing and would feed a family. Found this establishment whey using YELP. All of the reviews I had read had 5 stars for quality and flavors of food served. Myself and four other friends stopped by...we the Liberty sandwiches , Chicken & Rice Bowl...with fries...we were all blown away with the delicious taste of these meals. The homemade bread was excellent, as well as the fries in a special dip of ranch dressing. We plan on returning to sample more of the remaining items on the menu, especially interested in sampling their Tower of Pizza. Great food, friendly service, and decent prices! A nice little hidden gem stumbled upon while at the local vet's office. I really enjoyed my sandwich, and my honey was impressed with his soup and sandwich. The owner came out to chat with us and explained all the bread is homemade and he used to work in the bakery at Publix, so he knows the secrets to great sandwich bread! What a great find! Delis in office parks are often the best for simple but great tasting sandwiches, this one included. I got the Coop, which is their chicken salad sandwich. Looks are deceiving with this one. It looked almost bland and dry, but it was far from that with the dressing used and the shaved lettuce with pickles and tomatoes. I wish I got two! The grilled chicken sandwich was just okay in comparison. They have a case of mouth watering desserts made in house that I wanted to sample all of, but I narrowed it down to the tiramisu. It was perfection, and I'm extremely finicky with tiramisu. I'll be back for sure next time I'm by the airport. It's 3 minutes away and a perfect pitstop before or after a flight. read more

We ordered a pizza to take home to momma and Gershy carried it out to us,opening the box proudly. It almost didn't make it home, it looked so good. Still, we hadn't even scratched the surface. Gershy loves to bake. He makes the bread from scratch AND the desserts. There's butter bars and cheese cake and custom cannoli. Is this a restaurant, a weight-gaining center or the hunting ground for a psyco killer? We're still breathing after eating enough food to kill any over-sized mammal but I just can't tell you. Just did a quick search for sandwiches close to the office and Gershy's popped up. The name caught my eye but the yelp reviews sealed the deal!! Let's have lunch! They are in an industrial park area with a very unassuming facade (on my word of the day calendar :oP). The line was a little long which is usually a good sign. A nice size seating area inside with tables outside as well. I don't recommend those during the Florida summer though. The menu is the typical deli fair that included rubens, turkey and chicken salad sandwiches as well as whole pizzas and by the slice. They also have breakfast which I am looking forward to trying. As I walked in I saw the soup of the day was Chicken corn chowder. Had to have it! Ordered that as well as the Gobbler. The soup was delicious. Thick and creamy with lots of great flavor. I especially loved the fact that the potatoes were cut into tiny cubes. I don't like chowders that have big chunks of potatoes. I only taste potatoes! This one had little tiny cubes which added the exclamation point for me. The Gobbler had all white turkey, tomatoes, lettuce, sweet onion, mayo on white bread. Delicious!! Everything was fresh, the turkey was juicy and the LTOM combined with the turkey for a really refreshing and tasty bite. I ordered at the counter but the food was brought out to me and it was pretty darn quick too! A solid 5 star spot for lunch. read more

Two days in a row I've had the absolute pleasure of dining in here. Peanut butter chocolate chip cheesecake and strawberry banana cupcake? I'm drooling thinking about it now. I love Mom n Pop businesses and after hearing about this place doing a Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Pizza I had to check it out. Blending right in to a regular office complex is Gershys, luckily maps brings you right to it. Upon walking in I was greeted and started checking the place out big menu board is on the wall but the nice Lady said i should check out the other menu as it's been updated. I knew what i wanted, just a burger. If you can do a good burger it's a good indication you can fo other things well too. I got sweet tea to drink and it was perfect, they also have a coke fountain behind the counter with the usual lineup. Bottle sodas are also available in the pastry cooler. I sat down and barely got done with my Yelping and here comes the burger. (It was empty at 11:15am on a Tuesday) I dug in like I was starving and was rewarded with a perfect medium cooked burger. After a couple bites the juices were dripping all over my right hand and it was lovely. The fries were cooked just enough to have a little crunch and be nice,soft taters of joy. The inside is small but clean and they had tables shut down for social distancing. After the meal I was eyeballing the pastries and the cannolis looked amazing.
