This place is one of those neighborhood - if you know, you know - place. Authentic, ole Italian, delicious food! From soup and salads, breads, chicken parm, ole school pasta dishes, fish and of course dessert! Apple Brown Betty was to die for If you have the opportunity and are in the area - definitely stop by DeCosta's

So we baptize my granddaughter today and we had an intimate gathering of 30 at this wonderful establishment, the staff could not have been more commentating plenty of parking. The food was delicious. Anything we tried there was superb. I wanna come back and have dinner. I truly enjoyed my experience and how kind the staff was. Thank you so much.

The restaurant is located in the corner of highways so it could be challenging to get around and find it. The ambiance was ok. It's not the most established restaurant I have been to. The foods are good and for the dining Area this humble I would expect a little less expensive. But at least all the foods are good and authentic

Dessert Delicious Lava Cake

I hope the owners of Decosta's read this review, because I'd like to apologize to them. I moved to Yonkers 7 years ago, passed this restaurant hundreds of times because I live a 1/4 mile away from this outstanding place. My wife and I went there this past Saturday. Can not stop thinking about how wonderful our experience was. Service, Dinner, dessert was a 10+ They will be seeing us a lot more. Wow !!! what an outstanding place to eat. Ada & Sal

De Costa's Fine Italian Dining 5/21/2024 Celebrating our 36th Wedding Anniversary we ordered a favorite Fried Calamari as an app. The size of the Squid was cut into nice size pieces and coated very well. The mouth feel was very tender and soft. I ordered the Seafood Pescatore that consisted of Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, and Calamari, in a Tomato Sauce, served on a bed of Fettuccine. The dish was very well made with a Devine taste. My husband ordered a daily Special of Stripped Bass topped with Shrimp, a side of Potato Croquettes and Broccoli Rabe. My husband said he thoroughly enjoyed his food and again it was very well prepared. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. Although this place is a bit pricey, it is more than well worth the price! I would tell anyone to come and give this place a try as you feel welcome and the food is excellent, you won't regret it.

We just happen to stumble in during Hudson Valley Restaurant week. The service is top notch. The interiors updated with stunning Hudson River views including views of Manhattan. All the dishes were very good Even from the Restaurant week menu the portions were generous.

I had the surf and turf styled platter which was loaded with 3 different seafoods and a nice cut of steak. my leftovers was still tender after reheating. My SO had the branzino and I'm just going to assume his food was excellent because by time I got back from the restroom the entire fish was devoured! smh it was Fathers Day so I let it slide... lol The drinks were standard, I believe we only did one round since we wanted to check out the rest of the area. The staff was on point and the manager stopping by to great us and have a lil chat about our evening was a nice touch as well. nonetheless this is a quick lil drive from the city that I don't mind having for date night.

However, I was not here for the decor. I was here for the food and the drinks! And neither was a disappointment! We ordered two tequila sunrises. Initially I was taken back by the drink served in a plastic resealable bag. That drink was so good and potent- I had to order a water! I felt the drink hit me before I was even half done with it. Then I understood the resealable bag. I could take it home. Genius. The scallops for the appetizers weren't bad at all! I was impressed. But the kicker was the boils. My date had a combo with snow crab. I on the other hand ordered the crab du jour, 2 lobster tails, 1 lb of shrimp, 1 lb clams, sausage, potato and two corns in medium spice with old bay. Suffice it to say I didn't realize the sheer seriousness of my order. Yes, I took it home and went in deep once again. I have no complaints. The food was awesome. The drinks were generous, the waitress was on point. Definitely will be heading back!

The lobster tail was okay but it was small. The sausages didn't look cooked so I picked them out and put them in a skillet and browned them. I asked for no garlic and the sauce had so much garlic I had to strain it out. I ended up trying to make my own sauce to make it better but why should I when I already paid for sauce? I won't be going back though. I've eaten here several times in the past and enjoyed it but not this time.

It's always interesting to return to a place with history, and thankfully, the current experience holds up. The restaurant was moderately busy, but everything flowed smoothly. No waits, and the staff struck a great balance, attentive when needed, but giving us space to settle in and enjoy the company. Parking is easy with a free lot in the back, plus additional street options. The space is open with warm wood accents that give it a comfortable, inviting feel. We sat in the main dining room and started with the Hot Antipasto Deluxe, a generous spread perfect for the table. It didn't stop there, as they also brought out salad for everyone before the mains, a classic, welcoming touch. I ordered the pappardelle with chicken in a vodka sauce with a dollop of ricotta, rich and satisfying. Others enjoyed dishes like Chicken Piccata and Chicken Parmigiana. Portions were more than enough, and by dessert, shared chocolate lava cake and tartufo, we were completely full. A relaxed, accommodating spot that works especially well for groups. Definitely a place to linger and enjoy.
