Food was good. Waitress super nice but service slow. The ambiance is gorgeous, by the lake. Live music, not too loud, you can still talk in the table. Needed a little salt. Bread is delicious and lobster soup was great.

Great little alcove for a large party

Fresh seafood, you can get it here! And with it being stone crab season, they even have those, claws the size of 3 of my fingers! Service was slow, no fault of the server, as he was also taking care of tables on the deck and we were inside- poor front of house management. Poke bowl, decent, I have had better at 1/2 the price. The old fashioned- too sweet but filthy cherries, nice touch. Scallop piccata- nicely done. Grouper Rockefeller- rich and delicious. Tropical Mahi Mahi- fresh, light and filling. Yes, I will be back.

Fabulous lunch. Food was amazing and service was excellent. I ordered way too much food bc everything sounded delicious. And then I couldn't eat it all. My server went out of his way to get a container with ice for my leftover shrimp cocktail. Hogfish was delightful. Deep Lagoon is one of a few places where it's available. I will be going back next time I'm in Florida. Oh yes, my drink was super tasty and I liked that they added a gummy shark. Cute touch.

Sorry I didn't get pics of the drinks or hush puppies. The Chicken Marsala was very flavorful and plenty of mushrooms. My husband enjoyed his fried grouper. If you're like me and don't like seafood, the options include Petite Filet, Ribeye or Chicken Marsala. They have great Happy Hour with many cocktails or wine options. They have tacos that you can choose chicken, fish or shrimp. The patio is beautiful with a view of the water. The bar I has ample indoor and outdoor options. Served was very friendly and helpful.

Colossal shrimp Bloody Mary the guys both loved.

Food was tops! Our waiter Ethan was the best guiding 3 of us to hogfish meals. Timing superb, atmosphere just lovely, fresh, and not too noisy. My husband loved his colossal shrimp Bloody Mary!

We had a lovely time celebrating my stepmom's birthday here! It's always nice to eat outside by the water. We started with the crab rangoons which are killer. They aren't oily and have a decent amount of crab in them. I learned that Deep Lagoon has their own fishing boats so they get the freshest seafood. The scallops were incredible. They had the perfect crust, were succulent inside, and came with a delicious sauce. They came with 7 scallops which was a pretty generous portion and the sauce was to die for. My only suggestion would be to serve a vegetable that complimented the scallops - the brussel sprouts that came with it had a balsamic glaze that would be delicious with another dish but overpowered the scallops' delicate flavor. The chocolate cake is huge and can easily be a dessert for 5 people. They served it with a sparkler for her birthday celebration which was very festive and nice. Service can be a little slow here so just be prepared for that when you come!

Great food and service at an average price. Clean and accommodating. Very relaxed atmosphere. Live music on a Sunday early afternoon. Brunch and lunch menu options galore.

Went to FL to visit a friend and we ate here for lunch. We had bloody mary's which were delicious. I had the fish and chips which were equally as delicious. The service was great and super attentive and fast. We sat by the water and the view was so nice! Great lunch spot in Lakewood Ranch.

The location is great and the decor is refreshing. The host was welcoming and the staff were really nice. As far as our food, my sister in law and I were not impressed or pleased with our meals. Service was decent as we sat at the bar and were greeted nicely. The bartender served our drinks and took our order and offered us bread. He came back and told us they weren't ready just yet, but they'd be right out. He ended up going off to begin cleaning/closing out the bar, which is understandable, but he didn't come back to check on us. After a few, our Hush puppies came out and they were fried well and soft on the inside. The cinnamon butter was a great addition to it. After a while we over heard our initial bartender ask another to assist us. Love the team work, but he was not attentive at all. The other gentleman who came over was really sweet and accommodating with a great personality. He offered us more drinks, which we then proceeded to ask for some bread. Bread came out hot and fresh. They were so soft and delicious. Say yes to the bread. The bread is good... We love bread. Lol! Once our food came out, my sister in law noticed that her salad was missing a few things. There was no avocado, no mozzarella balls, and hardly any balsamic on her salad. They literally sprinkled shredded cheese mix on the salad. No effort was made for that salad. Lol. We informed the bartender, he looked to the menu for assurance, then apologized, and would go talk with the kitchen. Instead of offering for the salad to be remade, he just brought out the mozzarella balls and extra balsamic dressing. We appreciated the gesture. As far as the captains platter, I enjoyed how the Brussels sprouts were made and how lightly the batter was on the shrimp, scallops, and grouper. The butter whipped mashed potatoes were a dud. Ya girl was starving so I did eat my food. Lol. That was the only meal I had that day (not on purpose, just had a long day). As far as the drinks, I wouldn't call them "crafted cocktails" but they weren't bad. I see why everyone was drinking wine... Lol! If you're a wine drinker and seafood lover, this is definitely your spot. Very fresh and very lightly seasoned.

It was a nice quiet lunch spot. We sat outside with beautiful view of the water. We shared a few appetizers for lunch. The crab ragoon was delicious. Fish and chips and coconut shrimp were decent. Our waitress was super attentive. We'd come back.

We had dinner here this past weekend. Walking in was an interesting experience with the seafood counters and decor on the walls etc . We were seated relatively fast. The hostess was nice and our waiter was pleasant as well. We sat outside and I thought the view was nice and the chairs were comfortable. We ordered a couple of entrees and drinks and the wait time was appropriate. We ordered a shrimp entree and a triple tail entree, and affogatos for dessert. The triple tail was good, FYI, not a beer-battered type crust, my rice was average, but done properly, the coconut shrimp and sweet potato mash was tasty I was told. The broccoli on the plate was not a winner (firm and underwhelming). Our affogato was decent, but I'm questioning if it was made with espresso and the ice cream was almost melted. Overall I like the place, I will have to try it a couple more times to see if there are more items that might trump the others, and see if their is consistent service etc. Food 8 Service 8.5 Ambiance 8.5

First time here we sat at the bar to have dinner. The bartender was very engaging very helpful. Very nice. We started off with the calamari. The batter on the calamari was absolutely delicious. Full of flavor. Calamari was cooked perfect and the dipping sauce was very nice. I got the tuna poke bowl, which was delicious. However, the cuts on the tuna were horrible. There was long strings of strung together tuna, and some cut nicely and then the rice 1/2 of the rice was cooked perfectly. The other half was hard and clumpy. I have no idea how they were able to do that but it was a good dish other than those two things all in all not a bad place nice atmosphere nice vibe will be back again.

    Volcano shrimp! Yum

We went during happy hour and the price was very reasonable. I ordered the volcano shrimp and green beans! Excellent! The service was great. He checked up on us several times. We were able to sit next to the water, and the view was great!

Exceptional Customer Service -- Thank You, Antonio Rossitto!…read more My wife and I had lunch at 131 MAIN today and wanted to recognize Manager Antonio Rossitto for an exceptional experience. Our meals arrived lukewarm, and we mentioned it to our waiter simply so the restaurant would be aware--we weren't looking for anything in return. Our waiter brought Antonio over, and from that moment, Antonio took complete ownership. He insisted on having both meals remade fresh from scratch and then personally brought the piping-hot meals back to our table. The food was incredible, but what happened afterward impressed us even more. Antonio came back to check on us and surprised us by telling us he had comped our entire meal. We never asked or expected him to do that. He simply wanted to make sure our experience was up to the standard that 131 MAIN expects for every guest who walks through their doors. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant. What separates a good restaurant from a great one is how they respond when something isn't right. Antonio turned a small issue into one of the best examples of genuine hospitality and customer service we've experienced. Antonio, thank you for going above and beyond and for making us feel truly valued as guests. You are an outstanding representative of 131 MAIN, and we will absolutely be back!

There were at least three hostesses/waiters/tresses greeting us at the door. It's more of an adult environment. Very nice! We ordered an app, the cornbread, their claim to fame. And it certainly was fantastic!!! I had the cowboy salad. It was all chopped up just how I like my salads. Perfect amount of ingredients, they didn't skimp! The only issue, and I could have asked for more, was they should bring a small side of dressing when they bring the salads out. Regardless the salad was yummy! The prices were steep but not any more than you would expect to pay in an upscale restaurant, $23. And, what I appreciated was they DO NOT INCLUDE AN AUTO GRATUITY! YAY!!! Overall the experience was outstanding; environment was beautiful, service was good, food was delicious. We will be back, many times I'm sure!

Medium size venue with an open kitchen and a decent amount of seating. Parking was not an issue, plenty of spaces in the plaza. The place was fairly empty, I think missed the lunch rush. I was seated right away asked for glass of Ice cold water. Those FL summers are brutal. The Staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. We arrived early upon opening and were seated right away. Parking is a dream compared to the downtown location. Our waitress was super sweet and accommodating. Another benefit to getting there early is the discounted apps. We enjoyed an order of deviled eggs and some seasoned buttery rolls. My advice is not to order the rolls; they're tasty, but honestly, it's just bread, and if you only want to opt for one or two apps, it just seems like a bit of a waste, but that's just me. I don't eat seafood; my family loves it, so I ordered the veggie risotto. Dannnnng, it was so good, and it was extremely filling and enough to feed like five people.
