We called ahead of time to check if Lexus RX350 2017 was still available. Dan Langley answered the phone and said yes, it's available and he would have it ready for us to test drive it in half an hour that would take us to get there. We drove from Lynnwood to Bellevue on our day off to test drive this car at the scheduled time, but when we got there, Dan informed us that the they were doing the inspection on the car and we had to wait for them to be done 20 minutes or so. We waited 40 minutes until the car arrived. We did a test drive and made a cash offer, but he told us there is zero price negotiation. Such a waste of time. When I asked why the car was being inspected at the time that was scheduled for us to test drive it, he did not answer my question, but gave a condescending long explanation how it's important to have cars inspected. Not sure what's going on as I still can't get an answer on where my plates are that I paid for. Within 1 week of purchasing a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman, engine light (i.e., Engine Malfunction! Reduced Power) came on. I live in eastern WA, so I took the car to BMW to get diagnostics ($200) and multiple issues were shown, resulting in over $2k in repairs needing done and the extended warranty does NOT cover them. Are you kidding me??? Definitive Motors refuses to do anything and the GM, Fred Chulsky, has been completely MIA - will not return phone calls, respond to emails, etc. Instead of addressing me directly, he chose to avoid and waste my time, hoping I'd drop it, I'm sure. The buying process was super simple. Patric was great in finance. The car was fairly priced so I didn't need to negotiate. The car was clean and problem free and I'm a satisfied customer. I'd recommend and say the online positive reviews helped me feel confident and matches my experience. I would rate 5 but there were two things that came up that kept it from being perfect and I'll say I have high standards to give a 5. 1. The car was only half a tank when I bought it. I would have liked it to be full, especially when paying cash for a car. 2. There was a clog in the AC drain that caused some water to overflow in the passenger side (this is common on my type of vehicle I guess) I had to fix upon arriving home. This really wasn't something I can blame them for on a used car, but it was a hassle to dry out the car and I guess the inspection missed it. I purchased an Audi s4 from definitive motors. By the time I got the car home (about 60 miles), it had consumed about a quart of oil. It kept consuming a quart every 150 miles, and definitive would not do anything about it. They finally agreed to take a look at it in their shop, under the same ownership, who told me "looks like it's most likely pistons rings, but we aren't sure". They didn't even get me a quote on repair or tell me what I needed to do to get it fixed. At the end of the day, I will not be doing business with definitive again. Patric (salesman) was great when I bought the car... but quickly became unresponsive post purchase. I had to text and remind him 5-7 times to set up an appointment and he kept telling me he would get back to me in a couple days but never did. I noticed couple of issues with the vehicle I purchased. One of the tires is not of the same brand as other three and they wanted to me to come pick up the correct tire again after couple of days of purchase. I needed to go there, pick up the tire and drive to the shop referred by Definitive to get the tire replaced. All this is extra work for me whereas I expect the dealership to take care of all these things before even selling the car. I expect that the car would have been delivered in a good condition when it is being sold. Bluetooth isn't working properly in the vehicle. I checked some youtube videos myself and made changes but no luck. Battery was down in the key that was given. They told me to replace it as it is simple and easy. Trunk door wasn't closing properly on pressing the close button some times. I have to manually close it. This is not working intermittently. What a terrible expierance, I went to look at a used car there today and the guy who test drove my car for a trade in apparisal locked my Jeep into part time 4 wheel drive, then got it stuck and 2 of the employees jammed and grinded the gears to where it was clunking and then said they dont know why? Today is March 25th, 2020, the day where Washington State goes under the Stay Home lockdown because of Covid-19. I purchased my vehicle in November, 2018. My Hybrid battery died this morning and needed to find my information on the service contract I purchased, but I can't find it. At 9:15 in the morning, I sent a message via their website asking if they knew the information. Keep in mind that they open at 10:00 am, if they are open at all with everything that is going on with businesses being shut down.
