I'm not from the area, but sometimes work in the area. Deidra's is always my go to lunch spot! If I get sent to the area for work, I'm always hoping it's Tue-Fri because those are the days they're open. Everything I've had on the menu is good! I keep going back to the same 2 sandwiches though because they're my favorite. I've turned co-workers on to this great lunch spot and they love it too! My favorite is Nancy's favorite and The Gobbler grilled add red onion. The service is amazing. So friendly and genuinely care about service, food quality & their customers! Sometimes I'll get something off the menu and customize it. Never an issue. Lots of tables to dine at for a small deli, always clean. There's a bakery in there that shares the building along with some other vendors. Nancy's Bakery is really good. Pies, cookies, etc. One of the sandwiches is even named after Nancy.

Small deli style cafe located inside the Farmers Market. Very busy, but the service and wait time was most excellent. Super friendly. I had the lunch special; half sandwich, cup of soup, bag of chips, and a soda. $11 Wife had Nancy's Favorite; grilled turkey/bacon sandwich. Bountiful and tasty. $11 Highly recommend this cute deli for a good lunch. Menu was over 2 dozen different sandwiches.

If you're craving a great sandwich, head over to Deidre's Deli. It's conveniently located inside the Grays Harbor Farmer's Market building, right off the 101 N (aka Riverside Ave through this stretch of town). Just a warning, you're going to have a difficult time deciding because everything on the menu sounds fantastic. I do recommend the "Boss Hawg" on toasted sourdough. This club style sammy is definitely the Boss! Loaded with ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, and Swiss cheese, you're going to be as stuffed as this tasty club! If it's a nice day, head out back to the large deck overlooking the Hoquiam River. It's a great place to enjoy your meal while listening to the rhythmic humming of cars passing over the bridge :-)

I had the most delicious lunch here of the Hawaiian sandwich. I found several wonderful gifts for people as well. The owner is adorable. She has tons of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. I am so happy. I found this gem. There are also chainsaw carving art, delicious, handmade pastries, cookies, cinnamon rolls. Lots of adorable gifts. Highly recommend!

Garden Store? Bakery? Deli?? Not sure but those deli sandwich's ROCKS! The fresh bread sets the tone and the ingredients sealed the deal! My French Dip was delicious and the spouse loved the 1/2 sandwich- soup combo. We snagged some fresh baked treats and are leaving here content

We'd been to another teriyaki joint in town and were split on that one, so we decided to give this one a try on the way back from Forks area. We're glad we did because we found our new favorite spot in Hoquiam. The food, service, and restaurant were are really good. The variety of delicious items on the menu is a bit overwhelming, but in a good way. Like, if I were to grub out while living in Hoquiam, I'd be going to Speed Bowl all the time. Their teriyaki is true to Seattle-style - very tasty. My daughter really enjoyed the Philadelphia roll, which is a win any time it's on the menu. Next time I'll try the Thai or Boba tea (no boba, don't bully) options for sure - they looked amazing. The place was clean, there's a fair amount of parking, and service was nice. The girl who was working the register and lobby was very kind and served well. Seemed like a younger crowd inside than most other restaurants in town that aren't bar and grills. We all enjoyed our meals here and will return again next time in town, even if it's a little far from where we usually stay. Only gripe is it's a slightly higher priced joint but I'd say it was worth it!

They also have a large bar area as well with a very cool natural edge wood countertop. I ordered take out and both orders exceeded my expectations. The beef rib pho and the vermicelli grilled pork (with added shrimp) were both amazing! Very authentic flavors and the veggies were so fresh! The beef ribs were fall off the bone soft, the pho broth delicious! The pork and shrimp for the vermicelli salad were cooked to perfection and the dressing was delicious! The lady who helped me, I'm assuming one of the owners, was very nice and friendly also. I will definitely be going back.

There were five of us, so we ordered a variety of dishes to share, including the fresh rolls, bánh mì, vegetable pho, and beef pho. The restaurant is quite spacious and can comfortably accommodate larger groups. Everything was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Our favorites were the shrimp fresh rolls and the beef pho. We're used to eating Vietnamese food around the Seattle area, so it was nice to try a different take while traveling. One thing worth mentioning is that this appears to be a family-run restaurant. We always enjoy supporting small businesses, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. We hope they continue to do well!

I could only decide (because there were ingenious choices) when our bar server, Hannah, suggested "Sweet Heat." Listed under "Pinsa Flat Bread" it came out 12"x6" thick bread perfectly browned in oven with gooey garlic/mozzarella but, wait, caramelized onions, thick-diced grilled chicken that tasted like bacon. Every two or three inches, one pickled jalapeño perfectly placed for heat that didn't burn, and over it all, drizzled HOT HONEY!!! My mouth was ecstatic. Pretty soon I couldn't wait to cut with my fork and knife to have my third and fourth triangled piece. Sitting, leaning over the high long bar, I just held the sticky, sweet cheesy spicy bread with all ten fingers tipping my head to catch the drips. Passion Orange Guava Cider washed it all down. I made a trip to the restroom and wash my hands then stopped at the kitchen window to rave about the menu with Clayton, the cook. This was all on a summer Monday night in June, low west sun shining into the cozy wood space, baseball silenced on the three screens, fun, toe-tapping music the whole two hours we stayed. The Gibbons couple have scored the times with their courage to do local, unusual creative food with a dialed-back vintage vibe.

As a flight attendant and an unapologetic foodie, I've eaten my way through cities all over the world. You learn pretty quickly when a restaurant is simply serving food versus when it's serving something made with genuine care. This place falls firmly into the second category. The customer service? Just the sweet Rainier cherry on top of an already incredible experience (and yes... go look at their bakery case while you're there). Jocelyn was phenomenal. I asked how this little slice of heaven came to be, and she happily shared the story behind it. One owner spent years as an executive chef at a casino, while the other built a career as a professional baker in Aberdeen. Boy, does that expertise show. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. A little context: I mostly eat pescatarian these days, so when I do splurge on chicken, my expectations are sky high. I've built it up in my head as one of the foods I miss most (right alongside a good ribeye), and it's almost always disappointing. Not this time. This chicken is absolutely ridiculous. They debone a chicken thigh and fry it into the crispiest, juiciest piece of fried chicken I've had in a long time. It's made with a gluten-free batter, which means more people get to enjoy it. And before anyone assumes "gluten-free" means sacrificing flavor... think again. Plenty of great chefs will tell you the best fried coatings come from starches like potato or cornstarch anyway. What really made this meal special, though, was that my partner is vegan. If you've ever dined out with someone who's vegan while you aren't, you know how rare it is for both people to walk away feeling like they had an equally great meal. It almost never happens. Here, it did. She ordered the vegan Indian tacos with corn tortillas, and they looked incredible. She was excited to try the fry bread, and instead of simply serving it, the staff thoughtfully explained it wasn't vegan and helped her choose an alternative. That's the kind of attention to detail you don't forget. Our service was perfectly paced. If you're looking for food in five minutes, there are plenty of places where "cooking" means microwaving something that arrived frozen. This isn't one of those places. Everything tastes intentional, and that takes time. Our food still arrived in under 20 minutes, maybe even less. Slow down, talk to the people you're with, and enjoy the experience. Great food isn't supposed to feel rushed. We stumbled across this gem on our drive home from Ocean Shores, and I'm so glad we did. I only wish it were closer to home because we'd become regulars in a heartbeat. I can't recommend this place enough.
