We went here around lunchtime in April 2026. We tried to go to a different bar which was not open yet, and they recommended this place. Recommendation from a local in the industry should be a can't miss. This was a miss. Service was mid at the very best. Just OK in every way. There was a decent beer list - nothing that I really like, but that's just me being picky it was a decent selection. We tried a couple of appetizers and they were just not good. Mac and cheese balls and something else that I have already forgotten, but I know our group of four left food on the table and we came in hungry. It's a very small space, and on our trip there was a pretty loud group at the bar. That's normally to be expected in a bar, but in this space we were able to hear every word of their conversation which is just weird. Funny, part of the reason the other bar owner recommended this place is because of the 'cute outdoor seating area'. Take a look at the picture. I know I've reviewed this awesome bar before but it just keeps getting better! Today our bartender was the most personable amazing happy person! So much fun to hang out with her today! And we recently discovered their amazing pizza! It's hands down the best in town! You can build your own or they have a couple fun combos. White sauce or red sauce or a combo of both! The Tap Room is a great little (not a dive) bar in the heart of downtown Aberdeen. It's conveniently located right off the 101 North (Wishkah St). There's both free street parking and a small free public parking lot (across the street at the corner of Wishkah & Broadway). Seating is available at the bar or a few small tables inside. If it's a nice day (or not), covered seating is available on the sidewalk. This is also a great option for lunch downtown. They have a small menu but everything I've tried is great. Pizzas are big enough to share and their Fire braised chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese and garlic aioli is a fave. The staff is both friendly and helpful. The owner, Bryce, does a fantastic job keeping the patrons happy. Highly recommend! read more

Every time we've come here, it's been a bad experience. We've been served the same lime twice while taking tequila shots (both times the place was nearly empty). On the occasions we ordered food, it took 45+ minutes and we had to remind staff just to make it. The vibe is off, and to top it off, we've overheard racist comments made about "Natives." As a frequent visitor from Seattle, I can always count on this place to be consistent in their overall service and hospitality. Unlike other bars in the area that lack the knowledge and expertise of the beer and/or cocktails served, the staff here are all well educated on different beers and taste styles. When I say we took over this bar, I mean we TOOK over this bar. I think nearly all 33 of the bikers in my group got there at the same time. The server called in two girls for back up when we arrived and was happy to serve us all night. They were all so accommodating to such a large group filling their entire tap room. They had a great selection of beer and even when their credit card machine BROKE in the middle of the evening, they continued to serve us trusting us to either switch to cash or come in the next morning to pay. Had the oddest experience upon entering on a Thursday evening. We walked past a young woman vaping outside and stood at the entryway for almost five minutes. There was nobody behind the bar and it seemed that the place was deserted. After about five minutes, the woman who was vaping outside and goes behind the bar, still not acknowledging us. After a few more minutes, a guy comes out of an office in the back and we ask him if it's okay to sit down. He gives the go-ahead and from that point the experience leaves the world of the surreal and enters normalcy. Good food, wonderful brews... a few human resources trainings and this place could have it all! read more

Pizza felt like, tasted like a premade frozen crust with cheese and pepperoni thrown on, definitely not worth the money. My wife's chicken sandwich, average. Staff while friendly, took way to long to get anyone to our table, wasn't even half full, help seem to be more interested in the locals dropping f-bombs. Saw waitress when she brought us water and took our order, and once after that when when she brought the food out. Never was asked once if we wanted another beer, needed anything. New in town so we went out to see what this place was like. The Friday evening we went it was quiet. The girls were sweet and made good beer suggestions. Not a place to go to eat. The Tap room is a nice little spot on the main drive through Aberdeen. Its easy to miss if you aren't a local and aren't looking for it. If you find it you're a lucky one. Its a perfect lunch spot on your way through town. They have a good selection of beers and a good selection of sandwiches. They also have a soup of the day or a salad if that's what you prefer. Its nothing fancy but the place isn't claiming to be. They have fair prices. For $8 and change you can get a sandwich and a side salad. Not a bad deal. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of parking. Overall a solid place to stop for a quick lunch. Just don't go in expecting several options, you are there for a quick soup, sandwich or salad and a beer for the road. read more
