Killer ribs, yes! AND blues in the afternoon. The Al James quartet today. Soooooo much fun, a drink, a rib and loads of music/dancing.

The music is always popping & I can't get enough of the wings here. Good thing on Thursdays they have 80 cent wings available. One of my fave DJs also plays there on Thursday nights as well sooooo let's get her going ! Sea yall there for some good SOUL food like tri tip, ribs, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese, and more!

I will just say this was a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, no one was there. When the greeter did come, she hesitantly approached us and handed us a paper printed menu in a dark, empty restaurant, which immediately felt off to us. When our food was served, several items were served cold and lacked flavor. The catfish was barely seasoned and watery, while the chicken had this "special" barbecue sauce but no taste, the Mac and cheese was straight from a box, and was gummy like, and the greens tasted super watered down. The cornbread was extremely hard, and there were white particles floating in the water. Even basic items like the salt container were unusable, sticking to the container. The owner spoke with our group and hyped the restaurant up, but the food and overall experience did not match what was coming out of his mouth. I also noticed everyone else received cornbread with their meal while I did not. Assuming it came with the meal (since me and my brother ordered the exact same thing) I was later charged an extra $6 for it without being informed. Based on the food quality and overall experience, I won't be returning. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give.

On this day filled with live performances featuring a variety of music genres, Wrockinfoose ended the night with great rock tunes to keep the crowd engaged and in good spirits. Some kept it moving on the dance floor, with others relaxing in their seats simply enjoying the sounds of the band on stage while spending time with loved ones. The balcony level was not open on this special occasion. But the first floor's comfy theater folding seats, with velvety cushions, were of decent quality. And the ornate details and artwork on the auditorium walls and ceiling made the place look like a castle from the inside. It was a lovely setting for an exciting countdown to the new year, and altogether we had a delightful experience.

The bouncer to the left told them to be quiet but they didn't listen. They had been distracting for most of the show but I wish the workers took it more seriously. There were many of us that kept gesturing for them to keep quiet and nothing changed. If they didn't listen to the bouncer and it kept happening, they should have just kicked them out. This kind of dampened my experience since there is no management for the experience so if I'm going to go to a show and people can just do whatever, then I'd rather not go. I'll pass on this venue.

The music and vibe was rock music with splash of Tex Mexican band.the crowd was mellow and vendors seemed friendly and welcoming many wanted to answer questions and see if there was something they could help with from a venue of a good selling technique. There were 3 to 6 blocks in a rectangular walkway plaza that seem to be a backyard of a business industry park for the industrial business crowd.

There were 3 bands playing some awesome music at 3 different locations. All at the same time so when your wondering around you'll walk into some funky music. I didn't see a lot of people in costumes this year which was a disappointment. But you can surely pick up items for that here. Lots of food and drink options too. Beer, wine and artisan root beer. Hand dipped ice cream, shaved ice. Things can be pretty pricey here but you can find some bargains. Found some nice t shirts for 5 bucks. Not alot of shade here, I'd bring an umbrella and a mister, it can get hot. And it's dog friendly, big plus! The only bad thing is parking. You either have to park on the street nearby if lucky enough to find a spot or far from the festival and hike in. They do offer a trolley shuttle from the Save Mart parking lot. This year I found a paid parking lot at 114 Ortiz Ave which is only a few feet from the festival. 10.00 a day and 5.00 for Seniors. I think it should be free for Seniors.
