The chairs were comfortable and had a relaxing massage option. You also get a warm shoulder wrap that smells like herbs. The salon itself looked clean. I said "I'm getting married TOMORROW. What do you suggest I do?" Which prompted another customer to run over and grill me about my wedding details. I'm a regular customer but had a very mediocre experience today.

The pedicure was great, no complaints at all, but the manicure was not that good. First, the polish application was too thick (I think it was at least three layers of nail polish ), so it started lifting and peeling really quickly. Not a huge fan of that. Second, I was not very pleased with the cuticle removal process. Quite a bit was was left behind, so that part of the service felt a little rushed. For my friend, when she was getting her pedicure they accidentally used the wrong color on one of her feet, so they had to start the process all over again since the gel had already set. To their credit, they fixed it without complaint and they were very apologetic about it. For her manicure, she wanted acrylics, and it seemed like the first technician who started the set didn't really know how to do it, so she waited for another employee to be available and switched with her. Overall, the employees were all very nice, the prices are affordable and the place looks well kept. P.S. They do charge a 3% fee if paying with a credit card, but they also have a fee-free ATM inside. Also, they get very busy, so I would recommend making an appointment rather than walking in.

They do require at least 24 hours notification if you are going to cancel and they charge 50% of the service if it is not canceled within those 24 hours. I came here to get my lashes fixed and saw Ashley. The new lash client appointment is scheduled for 1.5 hours I was out an a little over an hour. She did an amazing job. I went in with my eye completely bald. She was profesional and kind. The studio is located right off of main st so parking could be tricky. There is a parking garage located to your left right when you see the studio. It's clean inside and cute. If you check in on Yelp you get a free piece of jewelry. Glad I found this place!

So, I really wanted to give this place more stars. I've been in a few times and the inside is very clean and nice. The first time I went I had a pedicure and it was good. Nothing that I hadn't experienced at other nail salons for about the same prices, but good enough to go back and they're open on Sundays, which was a huge bonus for me. The thing that bothered me was during the conversation of the pedicure we talked about gel manicures and how I'd like to get one at my next appointment. The female owner pretty much told me how busy they were and they didn't need any more gel manicure clients. Certainly, I misunderstood, because who doesn't want more business? Even the lady getting a pedicure next to me said, "I'm sure you're so busy, you just don't have time." Seriously? They didn't seem all that busy, but I'm not a regular so I can't judge. After a few pedicures, which were fine, I decided to go in for a gel manicure. I was nervous, but I made an appointment. When I got there, I was treated as though they were doing me a favor. The woman who did the manicure got up several times to assist with other customers and moved me to a different chair in the middle of the service. It was awkward. Even the girl in one of the pedicure chair noticed this and shook her head. A manicure doesn't take that long and as a customer, it would have been nice to have some of the focus on the service I was paying for instead of constant interruptions. The gel lasted more than 2 weeks, which was great, but the manicure didn't come with any sort of massage. I've had gel manicures and standard manicures other places and they've all had some sort of hand/arm massage. For the price, that was disappointing. Overall, it's clean, open at convenient times and the services are decent, but nothing I would highly recommend. read more

I love deja Vu it's so amazing! I will forever go there! My first time there was when I went to a horrible nail place and ended up breaking my nails. I called Deja vu to make a nail appointment to fix it. They fixed the nail free of charge ( student discount) ever since then I always go there and I love my nail tech! She's the best ever! She puts so much time and effort into my nails making sure I'm happy about it! The environment is super friendly and kind. Whenever I walk in I feel at home since I go there often. I've tried probably 1/2 dozen nail salons in the last 2 years, but I've finally found the best salon in Sonoma County, I've been coming here for over a year now. Deja Vu nail spa is professional, friendly, and reasonably priced! I always book w Jennifer (owner), she does a beautiful dip powder mani for me that lasts me 3wks. I'm a baker, so my hands get a lot of abuse at work, but her mani is pretty and tough. Also only $35 which is a bargain in price, but not skimping on quality. Most salons charge $45 for same mani. They serve complimentary beverages and have a genuinely friendly, family atmosphere here. So glad I found them! read more

Anyone who likes to have nice nails knows how hard it is to find a place with continuously positive experiences. Well, I found mine! All the staff is very friendly, the place clean and welcoming. They offer a variety of refreshments from water to mimosas, too! Nancy is as good as it gets; she listens to what you want and delivers just that. Want sharp square nails? Great. I found Deja Vu Nail Salon on a whim one day. Strangely enough I felt that I had been here before. Jokes aside I was most impressed in the performance of the services I received at the salon. I am very picky about the treatments performed on my body; My body is my temple, hands off unless I approve! I have been extremely pleased with my monthly mani-pedi appointments at Deja Vu. The salon is clean, the chairs are very comfortable and the service is always first rate. Rocky is one of the best tech's ever. It is obvious that he takes a lot of pride in his work. I'll never go anywhere else. All the nail techs are very talented, but V is out of this WORLD! Did a complicated inspo design with her own freestyle and nailed it. Even gave me a discount due to a DIFFERENT salon messing up my original design the day prior, just to be kind. Plus, everyone is so friendly!! My sister in law brought me here for pedicures a few months while I was visiting family. All I can say is, i can't wait to be back in Sebastopol so I can visit Nancy again. She did an amazing job with my pedicure. It also lasted a crazy long time, wasn't gel or anything but it lasted four week with really high shine and no chipping. In the past I remember it being a relaxing event, you sit in a massage chair and read a magazine or look on your phone or have a nice conversation with your friend while they did a pedicure. When we went they treated me like I was a NASCAR at a pit stop. First we got there early so we could look at nail colors but they rushed us right into the chair, I wanted to paint my nails green for St Patrick's and they didn't have a very good selection like they used to, was also planning on getting gel nails done but when I asked for the book of options they now have downsized it to barely anything and it's only one of each color. No sparkle no glimmer just boring. This caused us to have to pay 10 extra dollars more than we wanted to so we could get this new metallic fingernail powder. While I was sitting I was trying to have a conversation my friend but I found it hard to do as they kept grabbing my hands and moving my feet around and trying to get me to get all my nails done at once. There is no relaxation, I felt very rushed. They weren't even that busy. The cost came out a lot more than I planned, never had I spent this much money on getting nails done, not even for my wedding. The second review is based on what happened with my friend when she came there a couple weeks ago. She had made an appointment, we got there on time and there was only three people working. They were all busy, and were taking in more people than they should had. My friend wasn't put into pedicure chair until 25 minutes after her appointment, they got the water set up but then left her there soaking for 25 more minutes. In this time more people were coming in, and instead of doing the right thing and let him know it was going to be at least an hour wait they had them sit down. There were three extra people who were just walk-ins, who were waiting at least an hour before being served when they could have just went somewhere else but the people working there I guess really wanted the money. Almost an hour later they finally got started on my friend, finished her pedicure and then told her she had to wait for someone to finish her manicure. That was about another 15 minutes or so. We were both very annoyed, she made the appointment, but I guess that doesn't matter. They apologized for making her way so long, and stated that weekends were their most busiest. We get that but like I said she made an appointment and she still had to wait an hour before being served, and the fact that they kept letting walk-ins come in causing them to have to wait an hour or so before being helped themselves when they could have been kind and given them a idea of how long of a wait it would be. To us it's very inexcusable. We used to love coming here, it had more of a relaxing atmosphere, didn't seem like a push for upsale. Unfortunately we will not be coming back. The prices are definitely more affordable than most places but if we're going to be rushed, and treated like our time doesn't matter, then this isn't the place for us. Each to their own, hopefully other people have better experiences.

When I went in the worker who did my pedicure did not communicate with me at all and she was rough with my toe nails. I thought maybe she was just new so I didn't say much. I didn't feel the aftermath until later getting home. I will note that I had gone in without an ingrown toenail and my toe nails were cut. Fast forward to last night, I couldn't sleep from the pain of my big toe. I finally looked at my big toe and realized that something had gone wrong since my toe was throbbing and swollen. My other toe also has a cut of how hard she filed the nail. I figured I would call them today and ask what they could do. Since it seems as if there is now an ingrown in my toenail and that was not there prior to going to this shop. I tried calling to explain and was met with "you can come in, but we are not podiatrist and you can try Epsom salt" That's a short summary, of the lack of accountability for their mistake. I'm well aware this establishment is not a podiatrist. I am also well aware this is the FIRST PLACE I ever get my toe nails done, where I leave and find my nail has an ingrown and it's throbbing in pain after the pedicure. I didn't walk in there with an ingrown? And now I have one, and it's painful. Instead of working with me and apologizing for the workers MISTAKE. I get the excuse that they are not podiatrist but that I could come in and they recommended using Epsom salt is an insult. Poor customer service at its finest. I'm sorry but paying $50 for someone to mess up your pedicure and leave you in pain is ridiculous. The fact there was no accountability taken or any remedial measures just shows lack of professionalism. It was my first and last time going here. I would beware going here, clearly they don't care about their customers or the pain they cause with their mediocre care. 0 stars if I could. And I never have said that in a review. So it says a lot.

I leaned out over and over again to see if she would turn around and she never checked on me. Even the man had to get her attention and she finally got up. And the price although still pretty reasonable had increased Now I'm going to check out some other places
