Wonderful! If you have sensitive teeth or put off going to the dentist because of the fear of pain,…read moremake an appointment and ask for Irina! Not only is she very experienced (28 years) and excellent technically, but she's extremely kind and compassionate and makes sure you are comfortable. She used a wonderful topical on my gums and I had absolutely NO PAIN at all during my cleaning. Normally I have a lot of pain. She also explained everything that she was doing so I felt well-informed. She said to me that after my cleaning I would, "Feel like a million bucks," and I DO! My teeth look and feel beautiful! So clean and shiny. I'm really motivated now to keep them that way! I also had a consultation with Dr. Zaffetti. I didn't have any work done with him on this visit, but he was very friendly and informative and I felt like I was in good hands, getting the best advice on how to proceed with my dental care going forward. The front office staff are great, very friendly and professional. In fact, it was my initial phone call with Eileen that convinced me to make an appointment. We talked about my pain concerns and she told me about her own experience with the topical pain treatment that they use. She made me feel very at ease and confident about coming in. Gina is also great. After my cleaning, she told me about the Dentite plan that may save me money and help me pay for the work that I still need to have done. The only downside is that they do not accept HUSKY Insurance, which is what I have. So I will have to pay out of pocket. As a self-employed person, that's going to be really hard. I need some work done so the cost is going to set me back on other plans that I had, but I will do it because taking care of your teeth and gums is one of the most important things you can do. It impacts so much of the rest of your health. When you find dental care that you feel happy and confident about, you don't want to go anywhere else. They do accept other insurances, so if you don't have HUSKY, you should be fine.

MONEY HUNGRY PRACTICE! DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT!…read more I specifically did my research & found a provider who participated in my insurance. I proactively sent my most recent dental x-rays over prior to my appointment, although the appointment I booked was for my annual dental cleaning. At the time of my appointment I was handed forms to fill out, one of them being a "$35 Oral Cancer Screening". During my appointment the Dentist looked over my recent x-rays and proceeded to order a full mouth set of x-rays. One would think a professional practice would check with a patient's insurance carrier to see if a complete imaging procedure would be covered or confirm whether the insurance carrier will allow it for the 2026 year- NOPE. The dental assistant who performed my cleaning then asked if I'd be interested in the oral cancer screening (you'd think this would be covered under a routine dental screening- not according to this practice.) They push it as if it's their monthly special. After my appointment I headed to the front desk where the receptionist quoted me $226.40 for a treatment plan. In the treatment plan the total fee equated to $680. The "estimated insurance coverage" was $453.60. I spoke with my insurance carrier after the visit to confirm coverage. 80% of each treatment code listed would be covered and I would be responsible for paying the remaining 20%. One code was not covered in its entirety but the office did not inform me- instead I was merely handed a treatment plan with an expectation that I would pay $226.40. Fast forward to a month or so later- I received a bill from Lighthouse Dental in the amount of $310, for what you may ask? The panoramic x-rays that were done without checking my insurance coverage. I received a call from Lighthouse Dental and I asked the receptionist "if I provided my most recent x-rays prior to my visit why were additional x-rays done?" She replied "all new patients need full x-rays." I questioned why the practice didn't check my insurance coverage or contact my previous Dentist for my last full x-rays if it was needed. She then said "well on the bright side you won't have to get it done again for 5 years" EXCUSE ME? To top it off, after speaking with the receptionist I asked to speak with an office manager- who took two weeks to return my call. I refuse to pay $310 due to Lighthouse Dental's negligence. The carelessness of this practice is appalling.

If it was possible to leave zero stars I would. Let me explain…read more. I had sensitivity with one of my teeth. I arrived for my appointment and the technician asked me if I had any other concerns which I did, he spoke with the dentist & she advised him to just take images of the teeth that I had concerns of. After the dentist met with me I went to make a follow up appointment regarding my sensitive tooth, I approached the receptionist desk where she was whispering to the receptionist. I was told by the receptionist that the dentist wanted Imaging of all of my teeth & she informed me that my insurance would not cover the x-rays and I would have to pay out-of-pocket reason being that the dentist requested only three images that were just taken by the technician. The dentist was well aware that I had not been to that office in one complete year, why wouldn't she advise the technician to take imaging of all of my teeth? When I asked to speak with the dentist all of a sudden she was busy. This is unethical on her part & quite honestly bad business, she was quite unlikable & made the impression that it was more about making money than giving great care, I will not be returning and I advise anyone to use caution when dealing with Shoreline Dental in Milford Connecticut! (Please take the time to check Shoreline Dental's reviews on Google as well there are quite a few with One star and people complaining about the Care that they received)!! There are plenty of dentists in the area that have reputable reviews!

If you're looking for your new dentist, look no further!…read more New to Milford from the West Coast and was looking for my new dental office to call home - I found it here. Every single staff member I talked to yesterday was wonderful and genuinely cared that you walked through the doors and felt comfortable and welcomed. The office looks brand new and is sparkling clean. I did my teeth cleaning - where they had TVs in each of the patient corners- even one on the ceiling - which I thought was a really fun touch. When Dr Jason came in to check on me he found not one, but two cavities - the first ever in my life! He has an opening pretty soon after so I stayed and he took care of them 15 minutes tops. I walked out the door with a smile and a great swag bag of Shoreline Dental merch. This place is the real deal from top to bottom. A special thank you to all the staff that let me ask for advice on drilling a cavity without numbing my whole face - you were all right - it's possible and did not hurt! See you again in 6 months!

Dr. Fienberg and his staff have always been very professional and only do the work that is necessary. Two generations of my family, including myself and two daughters have been patients in his practice. I began seeing Dr Feinberg when he was still working out of his original office in Stratford with his father, who was also a great orthodontist. The orthodontic work that Dr. Feinberg completes is the most advanced and state of the art. He creates a personal plan for each individual patient outlining their course of treatment. The office is always extremely clean and is a very welcoming and comforting environment. Dr. Feinberg has created two beautiful smiles for my daughters and that has been the greatest gift. Thank you Dr Feinberg!

Aside from a bad cosmetic result, this left me unable to bite an apple, or a piece of pizza or a sandwich, etc. Everything just folds up under the front overjet. Salad tends to escape as you eat - very embarrassing. The dentist had also ground down a crown, leaving me with an upper tooth that needs to be raised with screws in my jaw, and a tendency to bite the inside of my cheek on that side. Dr. Feinberg is a great orthodontist. He is very professional, his staff is great, his office is modern and immaculate. He explains everything with a great deal of patience and professionalism. He has a lot of experience with Invisalign cases gone wrong ! He also has a wonderful reputation among his peers, which says a lot. I had gone for a second opinion on the advice of a friend who is also a Dentist and Dr. Bilous in Fairfield, another great orthodontist, assured me that his plan was exactly what was needed. She also see a lot of Invisalign cases gone wrong. The lesson is no one should be going to a dentist, even if they call themselves a cosmetic dentist, to have teeth moved. This should only be done by trained orthodontists.
