I love Deka Lash. I never have an issue getting an appointment at a time that works for me and it's easy to book, reschedule, and cancel online. I have had bad luck with a few of the techs but now I stick with Roni and if she's not available, Chiara, both of whom are phenomenal. Parking is easy, the shop is clean and cute, and I like that they have mints at the checkout desk because I almost always fall asleep while getting my lashes done and I need to freshen up my breath. Prices are reasonable if you have a membership. I just got an email that they're changing their membership levels to better match their most popular services, and it works better for me and didn't raise my monthly price. I always just get a true express fill so can't speak to their other services and prices. read more

They have very basic styles, using only C and D curls and its variations. I went in there for a wispy foxy eye which requires L curl but they said they don't do it and to give them my number so they can call me later but they never called me (they weren't even willing to try). I guess it's a good thing I didn't get my lashes done there because these reviews are scary. The vibe was so odd, they didn't have a receptionist so the girl that came to talk to me seems like she was super busy before coming to the front. This salon has a very fancy interior and very nice lighting. The salon itself is very extravagant. Just wanted to share my experience on the day of my son's birthday dinner who was turning 7 years old. I made an appointment to get my eyebrow make-up done for this special occasion. I requested the "total brow" and brow wax and informed them my son's birthday dinner was at 6 pm. My appointment was at 5 pm and they said they could complete the service within that time frame. I called the salon a couple hours beforehand to make sure they had everything prepared such as turning on the waxing pot. They said they would have everything ready to go. However, by the time I arrived to my appointment, the technician admitted she forgot to turn on the waxing pot. The technician informed me I would have to wait an additional 20-30 minutes. I told her I did not have that extra time due to the time crunch for my boy's birthday dinner which I was hosting. I was already disappointed, however I did not express it outwardly since I did not want to be in a negative mood. The technician offered tweezing and later a pre-made strip wax (a cheap way to remove hair instead of warm wax or sugaring). I went with it (because I had no other choice) but I really was expecting the wax from the waxing pot because that was what I requested in advance. In addition, the advertisement online stated that total brow service would include "sugaring." THE SUGARING SERVICE NEVER HAPPENED so for me as a client, this is false advertising. The technician completed the brow make-up application; however my brows still looked "hairy" as I had baby hairs that I wanted removed. I left in a hurry, and dissatisfied with the lack of customer service preparation. I admit I made a mistake for not being as vocal, but I voiced my opinion later. It bothered me when the technician did not admit her own mistake; no sympathy whatsoever. Instead, more than one technician told me, "the pre-made strip wax does the same thing," when in reality it is NOT the same experience. Real sugaring or warm wax removes more hair and baby hair making the skin smooth. 5 months later, I still had a credit on my account of less than $20 which I was hoping to use. I went into the salon, and they told me I could not use it since it was already expired. I asked the front desk if they could re-activate or extend the credit on my account due to the prior bad salon experience with my brows. All they told me was, "there is nothing that we can do." They were super unfriendly and unconcerned and this is what bothered me about their customer service. 1) Unfriendly 2) unwelcoming and 3) unconcerned. As a client, I had spent over $300 total for the brow and lash services at this salon location. Evidently, they did not value my business with them. This is the reason why I will not go back. I will go to another salon that values their client's feedback and concerns. In addition, when I called in to explain about the customer service experience, the representative put herself on mute so that I could not hear her at all. She was unresponsive and put me on "dead air" for nearly 1 minute until I had to hang up due to the unresponsiveness. They never even bothered to call back. All they cared about was me purchasing a membership with them. I would not pay for lousy customer service. I really hope if this salon wants to stay open, they need to greatly improve the customer service experience. Otherwise, I would not be surprised if this business closed. read more

Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service I recently visited Deka Lash hoping for a great experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. I went in on a Thursday by Friday my eyes were itching uncontrollably but I was out of town and had to suffer through it and by Monday...my eyes were incredibly itchy and swollen, to the point where I could barely see. It was clear that something was not right. I had gone to Deka Lasj several times. usually my eyelashes just fall out within 2 to 3 days, so I'm not really sure how long eyelash extensions should last but if you go here they won't last a week My biggest concern is the apparent lack of proper sanitization of their equipment. Once one client is done they say they're wiping down the table, however are they changing out that equipment that eyelash equipment that they're using to install can't be!!!! Cleanliness is a basic requirement for any establishment, especially one that deals with sensitive areas like the eyes. I strongly believe that my adverse reaction was a result of their negligence in maintaining a clean and safe environment. To make matters worse, when I reached out to the manager, I was shocked to hear that they refused to refund my money and even insisted on charging me for a whole month's membership $169.00 for a membership that I can't even use. for a membership that I can't even use This level of customer service is simply unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I expected them to take responsibility for their mistake and offer a resolution. Today, I received a call from the manager, who offered me five other services since she reiterated that the owner was not giving me a refund. why would they think I wanted to receive any other services that they have at their salon instead of a refund. However, after experiencing such a terrible allergic reaction to their products or lack of cleanliness, why would I want to continue going there? It's clear that their priority is not the well-being and satisfaction of their customers. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be cautious when considering Deka Lash in Harker Heights for their lash services. It's essential for businesses to prioritize their customers' safety and they should want to keep their customers happy, seeing that several businesses do not make it in Harker Heights and I'm hoping they too will close soon. read more

Their new texting system is impossible to book an appointment with unless you want to get a phone call back from a random representative that will ask for your card information that you already entered online. I wasn't comfortable with that, so I asked the rep if I could make the appointment at the location and give them my card there but when I stopped by the doors were locked with no one inside during business hours. Gabriella is the ONLY reason I still come here. She is so professional, kind, and tries her best to accomodate. The problem is the constant changing within the owner. Lashes have returned to awful, fake, ridiculous looking lashes that the owner would rather lose members over than continue with the prior ones. The times fluctuate and the staff is a constant turn over. I don't think I can continue with the lash quality they have changed back to. et me just say that the eyelash extensions didn't take as long as I thought they would, but they looked great! Until I had an allergic reaction to they adhesive, that was awful! But of course it was not her fault. It took me 2 days to get back in. She apologized (they have a centralized phone bank and they did not let Stephanie know that it was an urgent request.) But when I saw her, she took off the the lashes and was so nice about it. She is getting some adhesive that is supposed to be very gentle for sensitive skin. Then she put me on the list to get free extensions when she has a new person to train. And I haven't double checked, but it looks like she refunded my Groupon as well. Dont recommend this studio. They have a automated/ text reply booking for appointments and you can't get thru to the actual studio. I was charged for a no show appointment after attempting to reschedule multiple times and showing proof of such to the two techs at the front desk. I went to get my introductory free eyelashes in September. My trainee did such an amazing job I had to go back and signed up for their monthly membership. The second time around Latisha did a beautiful job on my eyelashes as well. So far I've had the doll eye and wispy style eyelashes done. I can't wait for my next appointment. The only downside side is that the eyelashes seem to fall out quite rapidly. It might just be my oily skin or the quality of glue they use but I'll definitely bring this up in my next appointment. I had my lashes done here on Saturday, 3/5 after purchasing a Groupon. The lash tech was very nice while completing my service. The very next morning I had lashes start to fall off, and it's been every day since. On the Monday morning following my appointment, I literally woke up to lashes on my pillow. I called to speak with someone and basically just had to leave a message with the customer service line. I was then told that my tech noted that she advised me the longer my lashes are, the easier they are to fall off. Which is a complete lie! They told me they can only go by what notes were left. My lashes have been falling off daily since my appointment. They customer service lady told me that she would submit the message and they will decide what they want to do about it. The price I was told was $60 and when I missed my appointment I was charged a no show fee which was supposed to be the price of service... they ran my card for $80 then $60. I then received an email telling me to reschedule. So I called and was told until I pay the fee I can't get my lashes done. I wasn't aware of a no show fee. My wife went in to get her lashes done. The same afternoon she got them done. She started noticing lashes on her cheek, they were falling off already. Supposedly they were trying out a new glue. Obviously the new glue is not too good. We called Deka Lash and they told her to come in to get them replaced by a different person. She went in and got them re-done, the same new glue, but a different temperature. No charge to get them redone, which was nice of them, but again, the lashes started falling off again. She's knowledgeable about lashes and examines your lashes and lets you know what style of extension works well with your natural lashes. She cares more about her client and understands how delicate lashes can be rather than just doing what the client wants If what you want is going to damage your lashes, she will let you know prior to rendering service.
