Was informed it may be a week before they could get to it. Fair enough. Week passes, and they inform us they can't work on Minii Coopers and to pick the car up. Now it's perfectly fine they don't feel comfortable not working on the car because they don't have the right tools or what ever. I respect that. But to take a week to figure that out, have the car there for a week, have moved the car while there, and then only a week later figuring out they didn't want to work on it.... very unprofessional. Picked the car up and got is serviced since. It was a warped thermostat housing. Actually common, and required no special tools. Unless you are driving something very very basic... know you are working with a shop that isn't very professional. Car was out of service in their lot for a week, and the whole time they knew they didn't want or couldn't work on it. Your experience may be different... but I could not recommend these people in good conscience. What they can\are willing to do may be very good...we just will never know.

My wife drops the car off for service and tell her to get approval for anything beyond what we've asked for (check out a wire dangling from the bottom of the car and an oil change). They call back and say that the car needs some $700 service work done at the 30k mile mark. This apparently is an oil change, tire rotation, AND they change your air filters and windshield wipers. I tell them NO and stop by the Advance Auto Parts down the road and replace the air filters and wipers in their parking lot and save about $500. They did suggest a new battery but wanted $190 to replace it. Advance Auto Parts sold me one of their best for $90, installed it free and gave me a 3 year replacement warranty. Another $100 I'll keep. I know it's an Acura and all, but this place never fails to shock me at the prices they charge. i guess some people must let them do this otherwise they wouldn't tell me these ridiculous prices with a straight face. I'd have given them 1 star, but they did fix the wire for free.

I first spoke with Lee the sales manager over email and he put me in touch with Mark for a test drive and to answer any questions. I was apprehensive because I hadn't driven stick in well over a decade, and Mark (nor anyone else there) never once made me feel uncomfortable and was so generous and patient with me relearning on the spot. I fell in love with the car, and started all the paperwork to make it happen. Their finance guy Randy was also so wonderful to work with, and was so genuinely kind and understanding with any concerns I had before finalizing the deal. If it weren't for Mark and Randy's notable patience and customer service, I think I might've walked just because I didn't have a lot of time to decide. Even with that knowledge, neither Randy nor Mark ever pressured me into deciding. Once I did agree to the deal, they didn't try to force a bunch of extras down my throat like most dealerships have and made the process very easy and painless. Now I have to deal with a stained seat and foul order in a supposedly new car. Additionally, as I was waiting for a resolution, I overheard another salesperson giving a high pressure sales pitch to an elderly woman and trying to pressure her into signing a contract today. This is what gives car dealers a bad reputation. RUN from this dealership!!
