The GE range is a discontinued model that was probably installed when the house was built around nineteen years ago. So it's old but it suits the look of my kitchen. I didn't like the new ranges on the market so I decided to contact Henlopen Appliance hoping they could service the unit. The person I spoke with confirmed they service GE ranges. I called on a Friday and was able to get an appointment for the following Tuesday. The technician, Trevor Vest showed up on time and once I explained the problems I was having with the range he got right to work. He tested all the burners then made the necessary adjustments to get the burners working properly. The whole experience from making the appointment to interacting with Trevor as he made the fixes was enjoyable. He even gave me advice about using our front-loading washing machine. There is no doubt in my mind who I will contact if I need help with an appliance.

Once inside it was a bit of confusion as well. I knew what I needed, but each item was in a different area where I though it would be. I had to do some searching, but in the end I was able to find what I need with no assistance from any of the staff. Self checkout at the front made for a quick exit and I did not need a bag. It was a decent visit, even if it was not the easiest visit. Getting back on the road from here, not the easiest either, but not something you can avoid.

Obviously Lowes did a poor job of vetting them. They rescheduled twice and today they clearly cancelled out in us saying they don't have a pro in our area to do the installation. Mind you, had to take off work 4 times because they couldn't come after 3pm when I get home. Now, my problem is unfixable they say because my fridge is too old and hard to get parts for. The solution to solve this was to waive my $333.00 bill that I was going to be charged. So, I took off work 4 days to have a technician do more damage to my fridge, but at least I didn't have to pay him to do it.

Hoping to find open stock FIestaware in my colors I made my pilgrimage to Kitchen & Company. While I didn't find the Fiestaware pieces I was searching for I did enjoy strolling the aisles and was excited to find my Henckles Four Star knives (which I think are discontinued) in stock. I also eyed up all of the Lodge Cookware and they seem to carry the full line. After doing some pursuing I left with a new knife and a few other items. Overall it was a nice little shopping trip.
