For starters we had chips and salsa. The salsa was not fresh, tasted like Tostitos from supermarket. The main course was mediocre at best. I had the chicken on a waffle for lunch. Waffle was dry and cold, the chicken on top was meh at best. My SO had shrimp Cancun tacos and ribs taco. The presentation of he food was great, the flavor and quality not so much. The service was quick and attentive. The ambiance itself is great, the place looks nice, modern and clean, and it's on a great location. Steak fajita was very flavorful. Steak was flavored but kind of tough. The spinach and shrimp enchiladas were salty. However the white rice on the dish was very good. We had to ask them to take it back. The Kennett Garcia pizza also a little too salty. We ordered another side of the white rice. I can't put my finger on what they put in it to make it taste so good. I have to say now that the beer cheese and cake in the Dip Sampler is good. I like the red salsa more than the green salsa verde. This time we tried the Octopus Guacamole. The homemade chips and salsa were good in flavor but a bit on the spicy side. The food was very well portioned, the tacos (main meal) came out first before the appetizers. They were well sized. Oh boy. I ordered takeout and got the wings. It was ok. Nothing special. They weren't coated with sauce, maybe you have to ask for that? The bottom of the container you can see the there's hardly any sauce and the separation of oil or butter whatever they use and the sauce part. I don't know if I'd order again, if I do it will be inside but maybe not for a while. It's new and busy inside seemed bit overwhelmed. The decor is nice so giving it a star for that. Had a really great lunch here with my mom before the grand opening even happened! We popped in on a Tuesday afternoon for some tacos and really enjoyed our food and the vibe of the place. Our server Becca was really helpful and told us some of her favorites. The restaurant in general is really lively and decorated really nicely. The cauliflower taco was my favorite it was Buffalo and then had really great veggies on top. The rib taco had really tasty ranch and a few fries on it. Both that taco and the BBQ taco had a double shell, crispy and soft, and wow it really leveled the tacos up a notch! We definitely want to come back for dinner margs and dessert! read more

I hated the tiny two person table but understand the concept of needing room for larger parties so not a big deal. The menu was cool!! Def not a "traditional" Mexican restaurant. Mexican flavors in a variety of options. From sushi to pizza!! Our server, Ashea, was awesome. Friendly, attentive and gave good info on different plates. Started with the pineapple marg and beer cheese with chorizo. Both excellent. Ordered the shrimp and spinach enchiladas, 3 different tacos (bbq, shrimp and prime rib) and had to add a sushi option for good measure! Tons of food, very filling. All were excellent. The rice is a slam dunk! Enchiladas were great but too much sauce for my liking. I'll order with less next time. The tacos have a cheese shell along with the flour tortilla...very nice touch! The restaurant is crowded and loud but I wasn't expecting different at a "gastro pub" and this was a casual evening of dining. I'm excited to go back and try the street tacos and nachos!! Came here for lunch this afternoon. They had just opened yesterday for lunch and are starting a soft opening throughout the week. The official grand opening is on March 1 where they will be having their full menu for brunch, dinner, and their social hour. This was the second day they opened for lunch, and they seemed to have a good turnout with diners and people retrieving their takeout orders. Our waitress was very good, and in addition, we also had two management staff ask us how our meal was. My husband and I frequent go to the other location in Wilmington, and I will say it is a good comparison. In regards for the atmosphere, we went during lunch, so it was a little quiet. However, the area seemed very clean, and the bathrooms, were orderly. Would come again. With it being a new establishment, I hope that the staff keep up the excellent work to have guests returning. read more

A friend and I attempted to have dinner to catch up. The food was just okay, portions small for the price. My side salad was lettuce, a cherry tomato, and a few pieces of shredded carrots. We had to ask for complimentary chips and salsa. Our server started out fine, however, we were interrupted by her at least a dozen times. We could not complete any conversation. TL;DR 5/10 Not totally gross but not worth remembering. I ordered a beer, elote, and The short rib chimichanga with the Coca Cola reduction. The elote was tasty but could use a lil more oomph, the beer came out quick, but getting my server to bring me a water felt like pulling teeth. The chimichanga started out great until the Coca Cola flavor became too apparent near the core of the burrito. It kind of grossed me out. I couldn't finish it. I went the next day reluctantly with some friends because they wanted to try it and I had a slightly better experience. The mahi taco wasn't bad and the Texas bbq taco kind of tasted like it was trying too hard but wasn't hard to eat. Overall, mediocre Mexican food in Glen Mills PA shouldn't come as a surprise. You won't have a bad time here but keep your expectations to a minimum. read more

The crab on top doesn't taste fake, nice and fresh flavor honestly i can't tell if it's imitation crab or real. Today I tried the shrimp strew tacos (3) for the first time, they were really fresh. The food was tasty. Two suggestions: make the happy hour specials available for all patrons not just those at the bar. Not everyone is comfortable sitting at a bar. We wanted to try the margarita flight special. Why would a restaurant not extend the happy hour specials to diners. Also, the 3 street tacos meal is available with several different proteins but you can't mix it up within the same order. After an afternoon of Christmas shopping, wife & I were hungry and looking for a local Mexican restaurant to set down and have an adult beverage and some good food since we hadn't had anything all day. When we walked in we were immediately welcomed by the host and handed over to a young man who took us to our table. There were plenty of signs and we were given a drinks menu advertising their "Social Hours" but not much info other than certain drinks & food served & priced during the time of 4:pm to 6:pm. So once our waiter came to the table, we asked details on what food & drinks were available during their social hours, at which point we were told those specials are only if you set at the bar area. This would have been great to know before we were escorted to a table! We then informed our waiter this was our first time here and asked some info on the menu items and we placed our drink order and asked for a few minutes to decide on our food choices. Waiter was very friendly and tried his best to answer all our questions. When you look at menu items appeared this isn't your "typical Mexican restaurant". We asked if chip's would be brought to the table and he quickly stated, any chips or salsa would be an order and a charge, we passed. At first wife & I were thinking about having our drinks we ordered and maybe go elsewhere. After a couple minutes, a gentleman came to the table, said he understood this was our first visit and that he wanted to introduce himself as one of the managers and to offer us a small bowl of chips with three small servings of dips. All three dips were very good, most of the chips were small or broken chips, but we made do since of course it was offered free and as a welcome item. In most cases when I go to a Mexican restaurant, a lot of times I order the restaurant's version of a trio-fajitas (chicken, beef & shrimp), but this restaurant's menu only listed fajitas in either chicken, beef or shrimp. I asked the waiter if by chance they offered a trio type fajita and he quickly said yes, not a problem. My wife asked him, how do you price the different fajita? Do you just take the price of the higher cost one and charge that amount, he said yes. So I ordered the fajitas as I wanted, we ordered an appetizer (grand nachos) and awaited our food. The grand nachos were really good and something I'd definitely order again. Once our main course arrived, it confirmed our thought that this isn't your typical Mexican restaurant, just in the presentation and the way things were served, but it all looked great. We finished our nachos and downed our main course meals. The food was all good. After turning down looking at their desert menu because we were so full, I requested our check. Once I looked at our check, I noted that the fajitas were priced much more different than our understanding when we first asked. The top priced fajitas were $21, I was charged $32 for my fajitas. They were good, but my experience of all the Mexican restaurants I've been to, I've never paid $32 for fajitas! I took it as a learning lesson and will know better next time. Overall the food was very tasty and service was good. We won't hesitate returning to this restaurant, but will order differently and maybe go elsewhere when I'm really hungry and don't want to pay higher costs to get full! read more
