Customer service is alright thru the drive thru, just can be a bit slow sometimes. Seems like one car gets thru and makes it to the window and after that car leaves the next order is taken. I went through the drive thru and ordered a tender combo. The Lady who assisted me handed me a bag and my drink. As i left i notice that the bag was slightly light weight. I opened the bag and noticed that i only received fires inside my tender box. I called the store within a moments afterwards and spoke to a representative. The same lady that handed my food answered the phone. I explained the situation and she quickly took responsibility for the mistake. i was on my lunch break so i couldn't drive back and retrieve my food right away, however, she informed me that i can come back anytime later in the day and would comp my meal. I believe she said her name was DM Stacy. When i went back 3 hours laters and explaining the situation through the drive through, yet again. The young lady immediately knew who i was and just told me to pull forward and handed me my food. Although this was an inconvenience, the quick apologetic response and communication to other staff when i came back, was really appreciated. I like Del Taco but coming here was such a disappointment. The pregnant girl that works here had long acrylic nails prepping food with her bare hands and no gloves. She touched a million different things then touched the tacos with her bare hands and dipped her nails into the cheese when picking it up. Cross contamination to the fullest. If your gonna have acrylics on at work you need to be mindful that acrylics contain a lot of bacteria under the nails regardless that you wash your hands. I will usually get chicken tacos or other tacos, etc. Came here Tuesday night for dinner after work and it was so crowded. I've never seen a place so crowded. I ordered 3 tacos (tuesday special), cheese quesadilla & nachos from the under $2 menu. The tacos & quesadilla were fine, no issues there. The nachos were gross, it was beans, cheese, & green sauce. Disliked the sauce, just not my cup of tea. I would skip the nachos next time. I also wonder if it's faster to go inside and order. read more

I was addressed (not greeted) by a woman's voice asking me if I was ready to order. I promptly asked "May I have a moment please?". I was baffled. Since I frequent this specific location often, I know exactly who responded to me in such a rude, unintelligent, and mostly unprofessional manner. THE BLACK MAN WITH TATTOOS ON HIS LEFT FOREARM. I do not know your name, but when I return to update this review I will address the correct employee by name. To that 'man': I am so sorry your job is not as pleasing as it could be. To work as a shift leader making pennies to the dollar, it must be very stressful to maintain basic intellect and human regard. I see you struggle with that in addition to your lack of patience. To mention, which is just the same as prideful toddler, do better. The hot, greasy stove and constant aroma of your coworkers perspiration must be a trigger for someone like you who is confined to such a cramped space, I understand. However, with that attitude, you earned this feedback. If I were in your position, I would feel lowly that such a man of your grown age cannot maintain composition. This place has really gone downhill over the years. Each time I go here, the service progressively gets worse. The restaurant itself gets 2 stars cause sometimes the food is great and I usually don't have issues with my orders. However, Jennifer gets 5 stars. She's amazing and always gives great service. She's quick and makes conversation easily, which is appreciated Update; this location seems to have a problem with their computers "crashing" EVERY night. Don't really understand why your drive-thru would advertise as open 24 hours when the computers apparently can't keep up. Won't be wasting anymore time going here read more

I have been here a couple times, both visits through the drive-thru. The first and most annoying thing is the wait. How is the service or order processing taking so long? Each time I go to order I give my order and it takes the person so long to repeat my order and then she tells me give me a sec I got to put it in??? I sit at the speaker for a couple of minutes, although you know if feels like forever when you wait for anything. The food comes out quickly almost like they want to hold you at the speaker to prep the food, give it to you quickly and get you away from the window. The food now is mediocre compared to other Del Tacos and again maybe it's just me because I just moved here from the city that represents Del Taco (Lake Forest) and they are always good over there. read more

They have you order then drop the line " hold on while I get your order total for you" so that they can take all the time they need to get your order ready. That way when you pull up to the window they throw it out at you so there time doesn't add up and go to corporate as then being slow! So they think this little plan if there's is going to work but it won't! They are slow and inconsiderate! When I looked inside and seen how the employees were laughing and talking it was utterly ridiculous! My advice to all of you who go to this Del Taco is DO NOT WAIT FOR THE TOTAL PULL FORWARD!
