Guys, I hated my meal. I've never had "bad tasting" carne asada before, so this was shocking. The ingredients also didn't look or taste fresh--something was just off with my entire order. The baked potato was COLD and I live less than 2 miles away, not acceptable. I won't be coming back. Not sure how to feel about this place, I had been in a mood for a cabeza taco, so I went here based on recommendation, the young girl at the register was very polite and personable, my heart was set between a Birria taco, Fish taco and/or Cabeza taco, even though a fish taco is on the Yelp menu, they don't serve it, and the birria taco does not come with broth, which is weird because that is the whole experience. Good tacos, they give you your order quick even on a busy day. It's a pretty crammed place to dine in but at least they have tables outside to eat. I like how their tacos are hand made tortillas. What came as a surprise to me was they are two tortillas on every taco. It is very odd to eat tacos with two hand made tortillas. Usually you will be served tacos with 1 hand made tortilla. Every item I ordered was supposed to come with guacamole--but when I got home, I noticed that none of them did. By the time we realized it, it was already past midnight and the place was closed. First of all, great service! And I was served my food quick too. As a lover of spicy and saucy food, I always appreciate a salsa bar. All the salsas have great flavor and the ones meant to be spicy, are truly spicy (verified by this Indian girl lol). I got the Hawaiian torta so the onions they have at the salsa bar HIT THE SPOT! My husband and brother got burritos and tacos and they were one of the better ones we've had in the area. The first time I tried to come here was a weekday and I came at 11pm after a night of bowling, the google website indicated the establishment closes at midnight (12am), but the doors were locked and all the lights were off. Bummed out I left and decided to try a different night. A couple weeks go by, and once again after a night of bowling I wanted to try again I got there just before 10pm this time. All my friends had said various things about this place and I wanted to try it myself and form my own opinion. I ordered 2 specialty tacos, 2 regular tacos and a burrito. And boy, what a let down. ALL the meat was burnt...in every single item. The rice wasn't cooked all the way so some of it was so hard i thought it would crack a tooth. The onions tasted like pure vinegar...total waste of time and money. Out of everything I purchased, only the Agua Fresca was good, I would have been sad if that was gross too. Overall, I dont recommend this place. Cost of living is through the roof these days, I work too hard for my money to have it wasted on poor quality food. Won't be coming here ever again. I must say that this place is highly unhygienic. The cook literally uses his hands to touch all the ingredients. Mind you, I walked in on him using his phone and then he goes straight to touch the tortillas with no gloves and proceeds to touch the cheese and then the cilantro with the same dirty hands. So i drove by this place a few weeks ago and thought "is this the same as Tijuana's Tacos in Pomona?" Well I came by today and it is. TT's in Pomona is kind of a local famous taco stand. I remember going to the Pomona stand years ago and ordering a large drink and being handed a 6 oz styrofoam cup. I was thinking what the hell when she handed me my large drink. "What is this cup for?" and she pointed to the large pot of homemade beans with ham, beef and yes the most important ingredient to make it feel like mom would have made, sliced up hot dog; or weenie and we would have called it. So I ordered two tacos: Taco Loco and Taco Alambre. Both were absolutely delicious. The Taco Loco is a must have with all the chorizo and carne asada it will be difficult to find your tortilla but don't worry, it's down there. The Taco Alambre is good too but I was debating having the Taco Indio with the nopales [yes cactus]. Either way I was starving since I skipped breakfast and the two tacos and one small cup of homemade beans and I was stuffed. I will say that the girl taking my order didn't offer me or anyone else a cup for the beans. Three or four people came in and ordered and no one was offered a cup. As I was leaving a family ordered and I could tell they did not know the TT specialties but went to sit outside. I told them on the way out "you know you weren't offered any but they give you beans with your order". I thought why would they not be offering one of the ingredients that makes them special and allows them to charge the prices that they do. There are 100 tacos stands in the area and I can be sure most are cheaper but TT is something special and the beans are certainly part of it. The other thing that they do NOT have nor did they offer are the fresh salsas and veggies that are common for tacos and offered in Pomona. Items like cucumbers, radishes, pickled carrots/jalapenos, limes and different salsas. I was given a couple of lemon wedges and some salsa but no options. read more

One thing I have to say is the worst customer service! I was there Tuesday 7/16 and I asked if they had more salsa and the lady that was there rolled her eyes at me and said "No hay salsa, no hay rábanos y tampoco limones" I said thank you, and she turned around y me torció el osico... I went back today, I asked for tacos de tripas, I hadn't even finished talking when she had already said "no hay tripas" rolled her eyes to the point where my son looked at me and we just laughed! So my sister and mom LOVE this place. I've never been to fond of it. My mom wanted to go yesterday so I obliged. All I wanted was a torta. I wanted to go somewhere else but my mom insisted because she likes their beans and nopales. Sooooo we arrive, my mom orders a taco that usually comes with nopales (cactus). I ordered a torta, we asked what it came with, the girl at the register says guacamole, onion, tomato, cilantro and the meat. I ordered it with just beans, meat and guac on the side. When my moms taco arrived it was dry and missing the main ingredient (cactus), the meat was dry and practically burnt. My torta arrived and equally dry like the Sahara and meat all burnt. My mom went and told the girl about the torta and taco and they did fix both the taco and torta. That's the reason I am giving them a 3 instead of a 1 star. They fixed it and understood the food was unacceptable, I appreciated that they fixed it. My mom and sister go all the time, but I always have bad luck. I guess there are new cooks but still, once the new torta and taco came we found out another cook made it... My mom loves their beans and cactus. Their horchata is alright as well as the green salsa. I'm not a huge fan but I will go again I'm sure as my family likes it and perhaps next time my food wont need to be fixed. It's a pretty small location but there is an area to sit outside. When I walked in I noticed how the sweet lady welcomed me and the clean dining area. The menu was quick and easy to read so I was able to order fast! My husband and I used to eat there often . The last time we ate there the food was not that great. We decided to give it a try once again hoping it was just a bad night for them . We ordered the taco loco, Indio and Rikis, And some plain asada tacos for the kids . They missed one of my tacos but I didn't bother to go back or call since they were not even good. If you were looking for a fast and quality Mexican food this place is definitely your go to. I found this little hole in the wall place while driving a few years back and have been coming consistently ever since. It is the only place that I will eat a quesadilla from. I don't speak Spanish and usually I receive horrible customer service when coming to a Mexican spot but this place is always extremely nice to me and very helpful. Their servings are always large and generous to the point where I always have leftovers and they also have a self-serve salsa bar and beans that you can take home with you to enjoy with your meal. read more

A friend told me this place was the best taco stand around, and in Moreno Valley that's quite a claim. So we went. The ambience is what you would expect from a quick taco restaurant, dingy crowded tables, fútbol blaring and all. I tried a couple carne asada tacos, though one was more like a tostada sandwich. The meat was well-seasoned and flavorful, but the salsas did a disservice to them. I also wasn't impressed with the guacamole sauce they put on it. They also include self-serve beans and the usual pickled carrots, onions, chopped radishes, in addition to the salsas. The beans were actually pretty good. Overall, I don't think it was the best spot in town but it's not bad if you're nearby. I'd probably eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

Wow, something bad has happened to the Tacos al Pastor here. I haven't been here in maybe 6 months or so. But, today, the tacos were gross. They don't at all taste like the authentic TJ tacos anymore. I don't know if their meat is different or the seasoning or what....but this place has gone DOWNHILL. Monday Feb 16th 3:00pm went to this place to get some tacos, I ordered 3 asada tacos, 1 Chicken taco, 2 asasa tortas, 3 al pastor, 2 tacos ingenieros, 2 xl waters, Got my order drove home hungry as hell, my family waiting for their food, I open the bag and I get 3 asada, 1 chicken taco, 1 al pastor, 2 tortas asadas. Missing 2 ingeniero tacos, 2 al oastor Tacos, so pissed off I called the place and the lady says oh yeah I messed up your order, well first of all if ahe was paying more attention to me eather than been on the phone with someone not work related, she would of gotten the order right! This is the second time my order gets screwed up! Use to love this place when the real taqueros where there.
