Normally I enjoy Del Taco food. It's not gourmet by any means but it is good and a real bargain when taking advantage of coupons and specials. Today I still found that the food was tasty, the temperature was perfect, as was the packaging and the short wait to get your food. The disappointment today however is that ... I have their app on my phone and a sheet or two of their coupons in my car something that they do not accept ... Whaaaatt? This is the second Del Taco I have gone to that does not honor Del Taco coupons. Guess that is because it's probably a franchise and they have a right to participate or not in the corporate coupon program. But without the BOGO's their prices are kind of high for what you are served. I wish I would have taken a photo of our food. You know how commercials make fast food look amazing on tv, only to be totally let down by the actual product? Not here. I don't eat fast food much anymore. But sometimes it has to be done when I leave home (Vegas) to go visit family elsewhere. We went through the drive through on 6/02/2023 @ 4:31pm. Customer service was nice, all items made it into the bag (including a fork & napkins), the food tasted delicious, and it looked beautiful. We stopped here on our way to Vegas. My husband and I both used the restroom, they were both filled with vandalism. I understand vandalism isn't the fault of the business, but lack of upkeep is. I put a picture with my check in. The inside of the restaurant was clean. The parking lot has more vandalism. My husband ordered a burrito. He loved it. My husband and I stopped here during our roadtrip excited to try DelTaco for the first time. We wont be returning next trip. When trying to order the bean and cheese burrito the cashier said sorry we don't sell those, we looked closer at the menu and wondered if they didn't have them why they wouldn't mark them as unavailable. Here we are at my fast food of choice.....i always have loved the Barstow tacos. Now you can get them here as well. We grabbed a couple tacos since we didn't have breakfast. The restaurant was medium busy for a week day. The place was clean and we'll kept. Bathrooms were acceptable and we'll lighted. Plenty of parking here with a big lot. Horrible! We had to leave without even placing our order. The cashier was rude and creepy, she said something in Spanish to the cleaning man and he mopped the entire floor in front of the counter. This was by far the worst food experience since covid. The cashier wearing a "louis vuitton" mask as a chin diaper not cover anything on his face. Took my debit card for payment and used it to scratch his eczema on his hands while the transaction was being completed. We stopped here for lunch on an extremely busy day between Christmas and New Year. All tables were taken and the line was to the door. For fast food, it was very good. The staff was fast and efficient. Orders were coming out within five minutes. Sergio seemed to be coordinating the front and back staff, who were all pleasant. They were all working very hard. If you love overpriced Del Taco food that's very average then this is a great place. They charge about $4.00 more for for a combo than any other location. Restrooms are the best thing about this place. Big, nice and clean! Wish I could give them a better rating but I can't. We had Taco salad with grilled chicken which was mostly shredded lettuce with a few strands of chicken sprinkled over it. From the prices they charged for it, I should've known there was no way they could do justice to the dish. We forced ourselves to eat what we could and swore to never visit it ever again. First let me say I usually love Del Taco. They are one of my favorites in fast food options. However this particular location isn't the best. Their prices tend to be a bit higher due to the location. Baker, CA doesn't have a huge amount of eating options. Also I don't think the food itself is the most fresh. Every time I have stopped here, I wind up with a stomach ache. The meat at this location is very greasy. But don't assume this Del Taco is like all of them. Because it's not. Definitely try a location out, just maybe not this one. read more

I love this Del Taco. I have been eating here on a weekly basis for many years. The food is always fresh and consistent. They always have freshly brewed ice tea with fresh-cut lemons. Friendly and prompt service keeps me coming back. They are also very generous to truck drivers and return customers. I don't usually prefer Del Taco, however with the new beyond meat taco it did bring me in to try it with a coupon, that I was however unable to use at this particular location. A bit of a bummer, but then even more of a bummer was the rubbery shrimp in the shrimp burrito. The beyond meat was amazing though couldn't even tell a difference between the taste of the "beef" and beyond meat. Would only go back for those to any other location. If it weren't for the beyond meat I don't really care for their menu. Next time passing by this location while en route to LA from LV I will likely go elsewhere as there was also several flies inside. read more

Coming from the east coast, we've only heard about Del Taco and had to settle for Taco Bell for fast mexican food. This place didn't disappoint. We stuck to the basics with fish tacos and guac.
