Been by here maybe five times since they opened. Get solid food for a great price, and everyone has always been friendly. Their other location on US 41 opening up soon, much closer to work, so I may not be to this location very often, but the experience has always been pleasant. My first time coming to Del taco, lady at the speaker was very rude when I was asking about the food acting like I was supposed to know what's on their menu. Told us we couldn't do more than one order in our car but front door was locked at 8 pm with full crew inside dine in closes at 9 pm y'all. 10 minutes to make 4 drinks, when we got our food it wasn't correct from what I said at the speaker & I was probably at the drive thru for about 35-45 min. I want to like this place but everytime (6 times now) i have been here it just gets worse!! Waited 20 minutes in drive thru with 1 car ahead of me, girl taking the order needs training because she was having major problems....not to mention she was NOT friendly and very confused! I finally ordered very simply 2 regular size tacos and an order of beef queso nachos. I get home this time and i got 2 mini tacos, and a small order of nachos no beef??? I didnt get a receipt, tried to call the store....no answer....del taco you are the worse! I paid almost 12.00 for this trash and I will NEVER visit again! I have sent in feedback every time my order has been wrong and not 1 single person responds....not even one. Where is the manager at? Where is the GM of this store? Horrible!! First time and my last time there. I ordered Del Taco meal and ALL MY tacos were cold. They had a mountain of cheese with nothing else besides some meat at the bottom. I sub the fries for Garlic fries, those were drenched with butter, so soggy and salty. Couldn't eat that. I totally forgot to order something at the intercom I was told they're not allowed to add an order that I'd have to drive all the way back around and wait again SMH so I did so. I went there tonight, 3/8/23 aprox 7:45pm. Such a terrible experience I will never return. Saw a sign in the drive thru advertising a special on stuffed quesadilla shrimp taco, shrimp burrito and shrimp tacos. 2/$6 by the regular tacos and 2/$7 by the quesadilla taco and burrito. I asked for a quesadilla taco and burrito and a chicken taco, and my total was $15 which seemed high so at the window I asked the lady at the window why that was. She asked a guy in a dark green shirt (no name tag) to help. I tried to repeat my order but he was immediately hostile and rude. Talking over me, interrupting, calling me a liar. So I was about to leave but pulled around to take a picture of the sign to show him. Again he tries to argue with me. I wanted his name, so I could report him to corporate. He yells his name is Benny, and corporate can't do anything to him because he's the owner. If he's being honest, I can't imagine a worse person to work for. Such a disrespectful attitude towards a customer, setting a horrible example for the other employees who are mostly young. read more

Maybe it was because the food had gotten cold by the time we got home. Not Del Taco's fault. I ordered two tacos, hard shell. The taco shell didn't have much crunch, which wouldn't have changed, whether hot or cold. Seasoning reminded me of the stuff straight out of the Old El Paso packet that you buy at the grocery store. Not much to write home about, really. Have to compliment the person who took our order: fast and friendly, good communication. All said, I'll look for higher ground when it comes to tacos. Bradenton is sorely lacking when it comes to Mexican offerings. read more

No complaints from the few times we've been here. Cashier is always friendly and the food is much better than the usual fast food fare.

The ingredients are fresh & tasty & addictive. BUT- it's very inconsistent. I get the same chicken burritos every time & they're ALWAYS different. Sometimes, there's a nice amount of ingredients & distributed evenly. Other times- it's all jammed at one end. Today, I was the only person in the drive-thru. No cheese or lettuce, 3 pieces of tomato on 4 diff. burritos. One had none. ...The biggest issue- the window person is too busy doing other things to hand out the order as it comes up. A while back, the window gal was making drinks. I watched as orders piled up on the counter before she finished. Mine wasn't luke-warm. it was COLD. I let it go since they were new & busy BUT today, the window person was counting money while my order sat on the counter for 6 minutes. It was the only order. No exaggerating. I don't know the solution. There were lots of employees so I don't understand. They're always friendly & when the food is at least warm & not stuffed at one end & all the ingredients are there.. it's the BEST. read more

Not worth the wait, but when you've already waited 25 minutes, you sort of feel committed and may delude yourself into thinking it will miraculously speed up. It won't. It never will. Spent over 30 minutes waiting to order last time. Never got the order, it would've taken another 30 minutes. "Meh" is the most appropriate adjective. Should be called MehDonalds. read more

Food was good. But when you open up a new place you make sure that you atleast don't forget an entire persons meal. First time going here and used to eat it out in California never had an issue over there. Usually, if they don't make sure that an entire meal is in the bag on the first few weeks of business , it will be even worse after some time passes when they stop caring. This review is intended more as constructive criticism than a complaint. Today, a sizeable order was placed through the ap at your new Bradenton, FL locale. As your food is wrapped in foil, there's no way to quickly verify upon receipt. Two things were evident upon unwrapping at home. First, there was hardly any fish on 3 of 6 fish tacos. Secondly, the 6th fish taco wasn't fish at all (could be pork, could be chicken). The food we got was fine, just not what I ordered & paid for.
