We've only gotten Del Taco food in California before and the fill of the tacos at this location was substantially less than what we've experienced previously in California. There may have been 2 small pieces of tomato and a bit of cheese. The meat was not hot either. Won't make any effort to return. read more

My first visit to a Del Taco! I had two Del tacos and the Mr. had a burrito. This set us back about $10, not too bad in today's market. My taco shells were super crunchy and the ground beef was seasoned well. There was a generous amount of shredded cheese on them. I added some Del's inferno sauce. Quick drive thru service. Great staff who worked really hard and made the food really well, but with two employees it took a REALLY long time to get food. Even when there was nobody in the restaurant or drive-thru line. I think what should have only been a 5 minute stop took 45 minutes. Again, good staff, but these two employees need help. I wouldn't be surprised if it went out of business for lack of employees. read more

Terrible food and terrible service. Easily the worst Del Taco I've ever eaten at in my life. My kids even hated their lukewarm/cold food. We were just passing through on a road trip, though, so I'm grateful l will never have to be fleeced of my money or submit myself to this horrendous location again. read more

I really don't recommend this Del Taco. First off, the drive-thru is in a very odd spot, having to do a complete loop around the lot. We ordered 2 bean burritos, and drove up, only to find 1 car. Well, this same car was there for 15 WHOLE MINUTES, then the staff handed them 1 bag! We got our burritos shortly after. We also noticed that some of the staff were just sitting around and slacking through the window. We then drove back to where we were staying for the night, and ate the burritos. They were a bit harder than usual, and the beans tasted off. I am only giving 2 stars because the outside of the Del Taco is nicely decorated, and lit well. Andrea at the counter was an absolute gem. Super friendly, handled my order with a smile. No beans so the rumors are true there's a bean supply chain issue in Gallup NM. Men's bathroom was destroyed, may have found out where the beans went. Service was fast, tacos were fire though. read more

Del Taco....like Taco Bell but different LOL. They have traditional fast food "Mexican" items on the menu like tacos obviously, burritos, nachos but they also have things like burgers, chicken tenders, milkshakes, Iced coffee. It's a bit strange but I guess there is something for everyone essentially?? They have a really good value menu, 20 items under $2. I love their bean and cheese burritos as well as their soft tacos. I tried a strawberry milkshake for the first time and it was delicious as well! They have Taco Tuesday where you can get several tacos outrageously cheap! The chicken soft taco is the best in my opinion. As of recently they also started serving beyond meat which is a vegan option. Haven't tried it yet but I hear it's the best substitute when it comes to meat. Even though these tacos are no where as good as the real thing, for a fast food place I'd much rather eat here than McDonald's. This particular day I visited though they were out of basic things like chicken and avocado, which is why I gave them 3 stars. I was most looking forward to a chicken taco considering they don't have this restaurant where I live. Had to settled for ground beef which is no where near as tasty. read more

The whole experience is as ghetto. The main drive thru menu should have been Before the order station so you can decide what you want. Then the person got our order wrong. The epic burrito had no meat, no lettuce, just mushy watery beans with guacamole. And they put NO sauce in the takeout bag. Just bulldoze your building and let Panda Express use the space for parking. read more

Horrible service from the beginning. Lady that took my order sounded like she had to be somewhere the entire time. Wasn't helpful when it came to vegan options on the menu. When I asked her if the sauce was vegan she replied "I don't know, it just comes prepackaged?". First thing, I know they don't make their sauce (it's Del Taco), second thing, if you don't know or if you're not willing to find out if something is vegan I would suggest not working in the food business. I ordered a bean burrito with rice and avocado only, when I got home and took a bite, I noticed cheese in my burrito and they forgot the hot sauce after asking me if I wanted it. The burrito looked like a week old toothpaste bottle, squeezed half way and the other half was flat tortilla only. If you hate yourself and enjoy rude service that comes with a mystery bag, come to this location. I tried calling them to correct order but they never answered.... I don't know what I was expecting? Del Taco here is Gallup is one of the nicest place to eat. Staff is friendly and food is made right away. The place is always clean. Nothing dirty about this place. Since it's opened I enjoyed the 3 visits. First two visits I had I completely forgot to review and take pics. Only thing I had so far are the fish tacos. Man those tacos are good, but you can almost eat it in one bite. So there small. Then my third visit was there 1.00 breakfast menu. Again I forgot to take some pics after I had ate. Tacos were okay,but I may complain about their burritos. They overfilled mine with taco sauce and not enough egg (it was a breakfast burrito) They took exceptionally long to get our food even though it was the simplest order I could muster. Their chorizo is flavorless and nobody likes tomato and egg. Your menu description's trash. It literally just said what they serve.
