The food is diner food; good, greasy, and what you want in the morning. The service is the best! Cassie, Sierra, McKayla, Maria, G, & Michelle make us feel like family. Our boys (2yrs & 1yr) look forward every Saturday to waking up and seeing them all. The music is never too loud and the decor is a throwback that brings comfort!

Came by around 9:15 ish on a Sunday with a couple friends. They come here on occasion and love it. They were busy but still seats and tables open. We sat at a booth. Me and one of my table mates got coffee to start. Nothing special but does the job if you want caffeine. They come around a lot to see if you want refills. I got the 2 eggs, which come with hash and toast. Delicious! I was pretty hungry and ate it all up. My friend got 3 pancakes then added bacon and the other got an egg and a biscuit. He had eaten earlier. Good prices for good food. These days, I'm happy to salt and pepper my eggs and potatoes myself. My friend has high blood pressure and can't do much sodium anyway. Personally, I had no idea there was a diner in this little shopping center. Lots of parking here!

Another fine breakfast at George's Linworth Diner. Food, Service, Ambience, Portion size all excellent.

We didnt start here -we started at the "authentic" mexican restaurant in the same strip. No shade to the Mexican restaurant but we sat down there and my 83 yr old mother goes.... Huh. I dont feel like Mexican. (Gives me the can we leave vibe and look) so we left a tip for water and walked four stores down and came here. Mom walked into the diner and goes "yes, perfect". Lol. You walk in and the sign says seat yourself. There are lots of seating options. There is a long counter with stools. Opposite to that are booths against a wall front of the store there arensome tables in the window bay. Walls are decorated with a lot of Marilyn Monroe photos ect. Its cute. We plop into the booth. A server arrives with waters. Mom doesn't have to really look over the menu... her eyes light up. She instantly zones in on what she wants. "Ooooh I will have the philly steak ". I quickly decide to order a gyro salad. Food comes quickly. The philly steak came with a ton of chips. Mom goes "its good but the bun isnt a hoagie bun (it was beginning to sog) and it needs more cheese.... Other than that...yum". Im not quite sure what that means. So I ask her "would you want to come here again? " She says. Oh yes, then shrugs and says "just wont get this". Mom grew up in Downtown Philly... not the suburbs of Philly... she's judgy about her hoagies. Lol My greek salad (with gyro meat) was fresh, crisp. Had plenty of olives, cucumbers and tomatoes. Now I like gyros but this gyro meat I did not like at all. Like I would give the meat a 1 out of 5. I literally picked it all off and put it to the side. Disliked that. I did like the salad itself. That was like a 3.5 to 4 out of 5. Would get seasoned chicken on it. As far as the restaurant itself: I also would come again I would probably get breakfast or a hamburger, tbo. Id say this was about a 3.8/5 experience. I am certain if I got breakfast it would of been amazing and would of been 4 or higher. For that reason Im rounding up to a four.

Ordered the veggie omelet to go. It was very good, I love the home fries! Very few locations in Columbus offer home fries. The service was great and very friendly. Love the surrounding pictures. Gives you the retro diner feel but with modern look. Worth coming back.

This diner is where it's at! The space is bright and uplifting. I came here before work on a Saturday morning at around 7. There were plenty of seating options available so I chose to sit at the bar. The music was really fun and got my day off to a good start. The decor is classic diner. Very fun and old school. There's plenty of parking, too, which is very meaningful to someone like me who is used to the downtown spots. The food is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are excellent. I did the Linworth Classic with eggs and ham and it was just what I needed. The coffee really hit the spot, too! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The waitress took very good care of me, checking and making sure I had everything I need. I am such a huge fan!

Reuben Omelet - 1/21/2023 so goooood

Still coming back. They're solid. A few hiccups in the past where they've been closed randomly with no notice, no signs posted. But when they're open, they're worth it. Coffee topped up. Delicious Reuben omelette. Steak and eggs. And all the basics covered. I've never been disappointed in the food. They do get crazy busy at times, so - you may wait to sit, and your server may need a minute to get everything straight for you. But they're a diner, and they deliver a diner experience.

A cute and classic diner vibe!! The staff were truly incredible as well. The breakfast menu is super simple and customizable with the a la carte section! I ordered a pancake and two eggs, which came out super hot and tasted great. They are very light on seasoning items, my fiancé got the home fries, which tasted like they had no salt or pepper on them. Coffee was also super good and served in thrifted mugs.

The focus of the restaurant is speed. They have a limited amount of seating and are quite busy, as such it is quite a quantity over quality establishment. The omelette was poorly mixed with a broken sauce. The location felt cramped due to the number of full tables and the waitress while wonderful, was quick to ask if the food was "okay". It really feels like they are going for a four star experience, and know how to obtain that.

I picked Pies & Pints from that list this month. I'll share the good things first. I loved that they took a reservation for me as there were 11 of us coming. Granted, once I got there, I realized it probably wasn't necessary as they had a long row of tables against a wall that easily accommodated groups. Regardless, it's nice to tell the group that we have a spot waiting for us. We were seated right away and service was good. They were fine with us having separate checks. I think that's become easier with the POS technology now, but it's still nice to not get the side eye when you ask for separate checks. The menu is limited - which we all should have been aware of prior to arrival. I sent the link out to the restaurant menu with my monthly invitation so women know what they are signing up for. My case - I only go for the fellowship and just get a diet soda. I intermittent fast and don't eat until after 2 PM daily. Regardless, some of the women must not have paid attention to the menu - even when ordering. At least one was shocked when she got a pizza. It had spinach and other vegetable fixings so when she ordered she was clueless. The food looked excellent. Not traditional pizzas but many white flatbread style pizzas. Even so, most women picked at their food. Maybe a few got boxes to take home the food. No one complained. No one said a word about the food. If they are like me, they are there for the company - not so much the food. I gave three stars based on a bunch of old ladies non preferring pizza. Objectively, the food looked good but do not go here if you're not a pizza person or you're looking for a traditional red sauced pizza.

The small cozy atmosphere was a delight to enjoy a wonderful meal and conversation. The drinks were exceptionally great and since I'm coming from California, very affordable. The pork collar and the tare squash were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I requested the sommelier to recommend a wine that would compliment our order and the Domaine de Ferrand Chateauneuf - du- Pape a fine French wine from the Rhone Valley was our selection. This visit, I met up with a friend who lives in Old Worthington, and naturally this was our choice. There are lots of good food options around, but Worthington Tavern has a great patio, good service, delicious food, and is a solid choice. I made a reservation via OpenTable. Definitely recommended during lunch and dinner rushed. My friend got caught up with a work emergency and was running late, but there was no issue with me hanging out until she arrived. We hadn't caught up in a year or so, so it was great to sit outside on the patio and enjoy lunch and catch up. I had the Mezzaluna Ravioli with seasonal mushrooms, shallot, thyme, brie cream sauce, and fresh grated Parmesan. Delicious! Recommend this completely and might be my favorite dish I have had here. My friend had the Baby Iceberg Wedge and added grilled salmon. Kudos to our server, Emily. Service is always good here but she was exceptional and added to the visit. 5 stars this visit! There are three different areas to sit: the back patio, inside, or the front patio. All three areas are beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was such a chill vibe. Our waitress was a little slow, and it was sometimes difficult to get water refills, but it seemed like she was one of the only servers working, so I completely understood. My friend and I split everything we ordered. We started with the smoked chicken wings with blue cheese and celery. The wings were delicious, although the celery came in very small, thin pieces. I would have preferred actual celery sticks. We also ordered the Honey Brussels Sprouts, which were my favorite dish of the night. They were so good and definitely something I would order again. For pizza, we got the Caprese Pizza with homemade pizza sauce, fresh-sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic glaze. It was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh. We made our reservation for 7:30 so we could stay and listen to the live acoustic guitar player at 9:30. That ended up being a little late for us, so we moved inside to watch him perform. It was a great way to end the night. Overall, I really enjoyed my first experience at Worthington Tavern. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed, and it would be a great place to come with a group of friends. I will definitely be back!

And when I did happen to be nearby it was always packed. Today I got there at 1030 on a weekday, and while it was half-full inside and out there was no line. The milk tea was good, fairly subtle, a good accompaniment to food and refreshing on a hot day. The kathi roll was outstanding. Smelled great, tasted great, looked great. Plenty for me at lunch. A nice blend of flavors and textures; I looked forward to each bite, and each was a little different. Meat, onions, sauce, and more. Yum! Wrapped nicely and, though a bit soft towards the end, not messy. There are a lot of other things I want to try. Price is reasonable for the quantity and quality. Atmosphere is great, inside and out. One minor complaint: the bar stools aren't comfy, and could use a foot rest along the bar. There's one on the stool itself but it's awkward; I just used the empty stool next to me to rest a foot. There are several tables inside and out, lots of light, and nice decor. Street parking was a little busy, again late morning on a weekday- fairly typical for Worthington. I found a spot in front of the church, and there are city lots nearby. Somehow in a cell service deadzone for me, but CoHatch is right next door and has wifi...
