Freshmade naan
Nancy H.

Due to a random day off, I mainly was able to take advantage of the lunch special promotion ($10.99 for 2-item combo). I definitely recommend the tandoori chicken, which was so flavorful and tender. The chicken tikka masala seemed kind of watery (not enough tomato, seasoning, or creaminess), but it was good enough for the lunch special deal. The naan was fresh made and piping hot. The rice was plentiful (a bit too plentiful because only one of my items had sauce). The raita was bright and flavorful. I purchased a couple of samosas, which were crunchy with a generous potato filling; if you buy 10, each one becomes $2 & it was very tempting to use that rationale to eat 10 samosas. I realized when I entered that I had previously visited to pickup takeout. I don't remember the actual food. But I remembered that I was leaving a work event that gave me $25 for dinner, and the amount of curry I got was a bit small for the price (I had wanted to share with my partner, but there was only enough food for one of us). Something to consider when you are buying the entrees separate from the specials. I want to come back for the weekend buffet ($16.99). Service was friendly and quick. There is inside and outdoor seating. There is a huge free parking lot, although a bit busy because Trader Joes is in the shopping center.

I got the spicy chicken curry and spicy vegetarian cheese curry with a samosa. Always on point and not too heavy! They're always busy so you know this place is good. Smaller tables inside and it gets packed but never a long wait for a table or your food. They play music but not too loud so it's a nice play for a quick lunch to catch up with a friend! Give them a try!

Me and my husband love coming here, they give very good service and the food is delicious :)

Spicy butter chicken, a piece of Tandoori chicken, two samosas, and some tasty Naan!

I came for dinner and the food was delicious! I was greeted by a wonderful woman who looked to be the owner, and had a friendly and welcoming demeanor. If you're in the Carmel Mountain Ranch area, you should give this place a try! I had the Butter Chicken, with a piece of Tandoori Chicken, white rice and added two samosas. It came with two giant pieces of Naan too. The dipping sauces for the samosas were tasty and the spicy Butter Chicken wasn't that spicy with great flavor!

2 item combo

My husband went in for dinner tonight and got the 2 item combo. This was chicken masala and it had roughly 6 pieces of meat only. Not sure if this is normal or not but we are disappointed to say the least.

Chicken Tikka Masaala 24 oz. Rajma Masala 24 oz Lentils Mango Lassi.

I come here about once a week for the a filling and flavorful plate lunch. Reccomend the lentils are chicken tiki masala. Really good service

Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo
Ray T.

Tikka masala curry was bomb!! Sadly, the chicken was hard and dry. Lamb vindaloo was ehh, it had an incredibly strong acidic and tomato taste that overpowered the entire curry. The owner was nice which is always a plus. The restaurant was small and had more of a fast food, quick bite and dip kind of vibe.

Lunch and dinner specials

Food is pretty good. The lunch and dinner special is fantastic and very good price wise for the amount of food you get compared to other similar places. If you get the salad with the lunch special, don't expect much. It's just a small handful of lettuce. They use a little more spices than other places. I like it, but others may not as much. Will be definitely coming back.

3dishes + rice + naan + raita for only $8.99! Such a great deal!

The food is authentic Hyderabadi cuisine with some Chinese dishes. The atmosphere is casual with proper table service. The buffet also includes couple of dessert choices and of course hot tea Indian style. The waiting time can get long, even though there is enough seating capacity to accommodate 100 people in different areas of the restaurant, Paling is ample. I will rate this place as 4.6/5.0 Enjoy!!!!

The buffet itself was already pricey, and being charged an 18% service fee without prior notice - plus an additional 3% credit card surcharge that also wasn't disclosed upfront - pushed the total to 21% over the advertised price. That's a steep add-on for a buffet, where service is minimal to begin with. Service was underwhelming: water wasn't refilled until we asked, and customer service overall felt lacking. The ambiance was fine, but the open seating area needed better airflow - the AC was set to 79°F, which left the space feeling warm. Overall, decent food undercut by poor transparency on fees and lackluster service.

I'm no expert but this place appears to be a bit of a fusion restaurant. The menu has options similar to typical Indian food such as butter chicken, but then it also has items such as a beef kebab! And the beef kebab did not have the Greek flavors so that you normally expect, so it was very interesting indeed! The reason I say it seems like a fusion place is because they also serve burgers! Anyways, I'm so glad I tried this place because I have found another place that has AMAZING CHAI. I love good quality chai, and many places serve bad chai that has not much quality of flavor. But the chai at Casa Lahori is amazing! It tastes homemade, and they even serve it to you in a beautiful tea cup. I will definitely return just for the chai. And I'd like to return to try other items on their menu. The waiter was friendly.

We ordered nihari, chicken biryani, chiken tokka kabob, chapli kabob, naan and chai and mango lassi. Mango lassi was interesting it was like it had pistachio or something kheer flavored in it. The chicken tikka was called kebab in menu so that was confusing, since its a chicken leg. The leg was good, had good flavor and freshness and not overcooked. Chapli kabob was dissapointing- what was interesting was that employees were afghani so the chapli should have been good atleast, but it was dry and not right consistency. Biryani was tasting like the shaadi style where flavor is almost there but not quiet. The nihari wasnt that good tbh, it had a home style attempt taste and look, but quantity of meat was decent. Naans were okay, large soft and sinilar to a mix between roghni and kahmeeri (as called in lahore). Chai was masala chai so it tasted as described. They were playing music so not recommended as well, but they had janamaz (prayer rugs) which were good when we had to pray maghrib. They also do reserve seating so if you want the afghan like cushion pillow seat style (but ontop of chairs or bench) you could reserve it probably. So interesting that place /decore/menu is lahori but theirs an Afghan map and employees there. I wish then bolani was a menu option :) good to go with chai as an idea We did get to watch the fifa game for free

LOL I really liked how easy the waitlist process was. You show up, scan the QR code, add your name, number of people in your party, and get updates while you wait. Super simple and convenient. The owner, Syed Afzal, was up front checking on things while guests were being seated and to-go orders were flying out the door. He was incredibly pleasant and took the time to chat with me about the most popular items, especially for a busy Friday night after 10pm. He went over the top sellers, the most unique dishes, and he even shared a funny story about a couple who had apparently gotten into an argument/fight a few weeks back over a reserved table. LOL He also mentioned the other restaurants he and his partners have opened throughout NorCal and SoCal. Such a cool, welcoming guy, and you can tell there's a lot of pride behind what they're building and they love what they do. Now let's talk about the food and the atmosphere. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The whole restaurant had such great energy, with so many guests clearly enjoying their food just as much as I was, and some were celebrating something special by the way they were dressed. I had the goat dum biryani, and while it was packed with flavor, it eventually got a little too spicy for me, even with plenty of raita on top. So I happily took the rest home for a visiting sibling who loves spicy food. The chicken malai kebab, though? Absolutely to die for. Tender, flavorful, and easily something I would order again and again. The service was top-notch and the staff always came with a smile. Multiple people checked on me throughout the meal, and the entire restaurant ran like a well-oiled machine. I can't wait to come back with a big group so we can order a ton of different dishes and try even more of the menu. This place is popular for a reason. Couldn't be happier!

The service was ok at best. We ordered 4 entrees. 3 came out and we waited a few minutes and asked about the tandoori dish that we had ordered. The chicken masala sauce was very good but the chicken itself was kind of dry. The goat dish we got was good but there were a couple of pieces that were tough and was hard to eat. One of the pieces of chicken tandoori was very dry. We ordered the garlic naan which was kind of thin and also dry. The restaurant decor and music were nice. I liked the booths they had for a bigger party. The bathroom for the women's could not be closed because the door wasn't aligned right. Overall, I was slightly disappointed but glad that I came here to try it out. I would come here for a lunch special but not sure I would come back anytime soon, but it looks like they get a ton of Qualcomm employees and local families coming here.

We were the only people in the restaurant and we made it there in time for the lunch special, which was a bonus. I was super hungry, I ordered a mango lassi and chicken MoMo for appetizer. When they brought out the mango lassi they also surprise me with a nice little bowl of a yellow daal soup. I scarfed them both down within minutes, which I kind of regret, because by the time of the rest of the food came out, I was almost full. The lunch specials came out before the MoMo but no big deal. The lunch special is really a great value. They give you a ton of food. You get two of the lunch items with rice and naan. I ate a little bit of it, but ended up taking most of it to work for lunch the next day. I had the vegetable korma and paneer tikka masala. I didn't get any spicey because I wasn't sure how hot they were gonna make it and the vegetable korma really could've used a little bit of spice, but it was still delicious. The paneer tikka masala was outstanding, had so much flavor in it. The MoMo was also fantastic and we did eat all of those because I didn't think they were going to hold up well if we took them home. I love how they made them with almost like a little cup at the top that you could put some of the sauce in. Don't be like me though, and give them a few minutes to cool down, the broth inside the dumplings is super hot. I was so excited I bit into it a minute or two after it came out and I wish I had waited a little longer. I would absolutely return to this restaurant when I am in the area.
