Chili Chilli Garlic Pizza (7 Inch Indian street style Pizza)
Joanna O.

We had such a great experience at Jay Bhavani and highly recommend it to anyone who's craving Indian street food. Our friend that joined us said it reminded him of home and was comparable to the one he had in India as a teen. Everything is made fresh to order and will come out as it's ready. We ordered so many delicious things like the chili garlic pizza, dosa, samosa with chutney, and pani puri! Highly recommend paring it with a thumbs up (like an Indian coke) or with a mango lassi (will help balance out the spiciness) All of the items were delicious but the dosa and mango lassi were my favorite. Plenty of parking and tables to dine in, very simple and straightforward menu. The staff were so lovely and kind and answered all of our questions.

Vada pav Panipuri (8 PC)
Palak G.

This vadapav was so yummy! the buns were very buttery and aloo bhajiyu was savory. The red chutney complimented really well with the buns. For the pani puri the meetha pani was the best part. Will def revisit 10/10 Service was pretty fast and the ambience is wholesome family friendly. Easy to pick up orders.

Vada Pav - 4/5

Review only for the few things we ate - Vada pav - one of the decent ones ive had in the US. The chutney in the pav was on point. I think its too expensive though. Cheese Pav bhaji - Again a decent dish. More spicy than normally served, but i liked it this way. Chilli garlic bhakri pizza - This was great. Spicy, cruncy base and loads of cheese. Chickoo milkshake - was delighted to see this on the menu. It wasnt overly sweet and pretty good.

Masal chai and a menu
Chriss C.

So yummy! Stopped by on a whim on my way to At Ease Games. They were really busy (always a good sign of good food). The menu has so many interesting, delicious sounding things. I got a masala chai and a vegetable puff to go. The cup was really small but it's the best chai I've ever had (and a regular ol' coffe cup size would have been too much so little size was perfect). The chai was hot and wonderfully peppery and full of spice. And not sweetened (they've got sugar you can add if you like). The veggie puff was yummy and full of chili spice that warmed my mouth. I noticed too late there was a packet of a sweet & sour type sauce in the bag. Definitely stopping here for lunch every Commander night. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

The stuff was a little bit rude, long time of wait, smelled bad in the restaurant. The food tasted good to be honest. Overall 3/10

Food was good but bit pricey. Place is bit small. Service was slow but that was because of opening day.

I ordered their dinner plate, which…read morewas under $12 and came with rice, two curries, and naan--definitely seems like a great deal for the price. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with the flavor. While the portion and value were solid, the curries were very bland and lacked the bold spices and depth of flavor I usually expect from Indian food. The naan ended up being my favorite part of the meal--it was the standout on the plate. Overall, great value if you're looking for an affordable meal, but I was hoping for much more flavor.

Our order also included a large to go container of basmati rice. There was plenty to feed our family of 5. We ordered mild for everything. The butter chicken was our favorite savory dish. We loved the garlic naan, for obvious reasons (garlic lovers here). The gobi manchurian was a new dish for us. It sounded good so we tried it and happy that we did. It was fresh and flavorful. We hadn't ordered Indian desserts before so we tried a little of everything. Hands down the gulab jamun was the winner! So light, fluffy and soaked in a delicious syrup. I kinda wish there were more but am glad there wasn't because I don't know if I could control myself (ha)! We ordered online and had it delivered. The wait was a little long but that is to be expected at prime dinner time. I can't speak to the service other than how they prepared and packaged the food, both of which were good. The food arrived still hot and ready to go. Overall, I think it was well priced, worth the wait and delicious. We will likely order from here again!

I ordered the paneer masala sandwich and the paneer schezwan sandwich. Both were really good and packed with flavor. The schezwan one had a nice spicy kick, but it was still really balanced and flavorful. The portions were also great for the price -- definitely filling. The staff were very friendly and happy to give recommendations, and the service was quick even though the place was fairly busy. Another plus is the space itself. There's plenty of seating inside, lots of parking since it's in a larger plaza, and they also have restrooms available. Overall, a really solid spot if you're looking for flavorful Indian-style sandwiches. I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

We were able to easily find a table inside. The ambiance itself is very welcoming and Indian themed. I liked the fact that they have a water station, it made water so accessible. The person at the counter was very sweet and helped us pick dishes. We got chicken sandwiches, vada pav, dahi puri, pav bhaji and chocolate sandwich. All the dishes came out relatively quick. The food looked really good! The dahi puri was well made and each puri was created with perfection. The spice level was on point. The vada pav was delicious but had a higher spice level. It did come with two chutneys. The sandwiches were yummy too! We definitely recommend trying the street food chaat items, they were best! The portion size was perfect. The pav bhaji was flavorful and tasted authentic. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend checking out this restaurant if you are craving for street food!

Baba Kabob is no-frills, but friendly, down-to-earth, and pretty tasty. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and my godson ordered the Baba kabob, which is essentially the same but with gyro meat included. Both sandwiches also came with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki. My favorite thing about these sandwiches was how non-greasy they were. Sometimes halal street food can get greasy or overly oily, but these sandwiches weren't like that. Also, the meat tasted pretty high quality. The large bottle of sriracha at the table was a nice plus, too. Overall, pretty tasty, fresh halal street food. Prices are slightly steep, but the quality, atmosphere, and customer service offset that enough.

For me, the rices were standout here - both the plain and the extra side of cranberry/carrot kabuli rice that I ordered because the menu pic looked so scrumptious (and it was!) As for the meats - never tried Chaplin before, and enjoyed the bold spices. The lamb kebab was puzzling, as it didn't smell or taste like any lamb we'd tried before. The spicy chicken shawarma was so juicy, and definitely packed a punch, which was tempered by the soft and pillowy pita bread. Friendly service, and warm, family-oriented environment.
