It's a Pakistani restaurant that offers a slightly different menu. They have burgers, wraps, curry dishes, etc. We ordered butter chicken, shahi paneer, butter naan and garlic chili naan. Both curry dishes were flavorful but they were salty and more on the spicy side. The waiter was nice to give us a mango lassi to go with it. Garlic chili naan was a good choice. The table next to us ordered Tikka Kabab and it looked great. He also mentioned that it was spicy. I suppose their dishes are on the spicier side so ask to adjust accordingly. One thing i wasn't too thrilled about is that they gave us the water pitcher from next table after that guy left, when we asked for more water. It wasn't too sanitizing. Hope they don't do that again.

Special team lunch catered for by amazing staff of Casa Lahori.. with exquisite, mouth watering royal menu.. beef kebobs, chicken kebobs rolled in with fat of lamb, 2 different style Mantu, Mashroom Veggie Curry, amazing Channa Curry, elaborate fruit veggie salad, but star of the show was one of the most authentic chicken Karahi, Lahori Style that left the guests licking their fingers, served with Afghani Naans.. finally, we were served milk tea in fine China.. everyone left with great food memories

Chili Garlic Naan- amazing!!

On our most recent visit, we tried the family platter- with Malai kebab as choice of BBQ, Goat Curry as our entree, Chicken Biryani and of course their amazing crispy and chewy naan. The only downside we have found to this place is that the food takes quite a while to arrive. While they are upfront about this, it's best to plan your visit accordingly so you are not hangry by the time your order arrives.

I saw an Instagram ad for this place and the food pics looked delicious. My wife wanted to try this place because we love Indian and Pakistan food. Luckily, it was close by. We ordered chicken tikka kabob, butter chicken, goat curry and garlic naan. Definitely 5 stars for the tasty food. The customer service is another story. The place was empty because we came for an early dinner and could sit wherever we wanted. They gave us menus and a pitcher of water but didn't pour the water for us. I had to tell the waiter that we were ready to order and to bring to go boxes. I also had to go to the cashier to pay because I was never given the bill. They need to learn customer service skills. I give them a 3 for service. I will still come back to try more dishes but probably order to go instead of dining in. Overall all, great food but not so good service.

Solid place with well seasoned meat, giant and crispy garlic naan, and refreshing and spicy sauces. My husband and I ordered the beef sheekh kebab and malai boti (chicken breast) kebab. Both meats were tender and flavorful. Yes, even the chicken breast. It was also plenty of meat for the two of us. The garlic naan was especially crisp and delicious. The naan is a must order. It took about 15 minutes for our food to come, not as long as I anticipated based on other reviews. That being said, we were the only other table at the time. The restaurant itself is small but well decorated. Also full of Pakistani spice fragrance. The music isn't too loud. There's outdoor seating for those in need of blue skies and fresh air.

Actually was going to another restaurant before the Chargers playoff game. Was very surprised how good the food was. Nan bread, curry, biryani chicken, and somas app was very good. Recommend

casalahori.official offers a very interesting brunch buffet on weekends, they have developed a new way of serving the buffet, instead of us getting our plates filled, the dishes will be served at your table to try everything out. The buffet is an infusion cuisine, you will get to try the authentic Pakistani food with Turkish cuisine touch, as they described: you feel that you are at 5 stars hotel breakfast. I loved this new amazing experience, must try place 100%

Want a halal buffet with your favorite Pakistani foods on offer? With eats ranging from mixed green salad, lamb curry, beef and chicken sauce-marinated eats, rice and paneer? . This is the spot! A small buffet, very fairly priced at $18.75 /person, with free tea. . Service is adequate, not overtly friendly, but I didn't mind for the price and delicious food! . Good place for iftar

Wow! This place is going downhill fast!! The lack of customers was a warning sign. So we bought over $60 worth of takeout which is three dishes total. We ordered three curries. I asked specifically with the nice girl on the phone whether or not it comes with rice and she said yes. Low and behold, on pickup it does not. While they apologized, they did not offer to make it right even though it was promised on the phone. I get that stuff is more pricey but this is next level poor value and poor customer service. Rice is the cheapest thing there is and when you cut corners like this when curries universally come with rice, this spells doom. $60 and basically got soup with a few small pieces of meat, and the previously tasty butter chicken sauce is competing watered down. New menu change = cut corners, poor quality and poor customer service. The owner needs to hear this loud and clear if they want to save their restaurant.

Came here for dinner this evening. We ordered the family platter that serves 4 for $54.99 and a samosa for appetizer. Samosa was not included in the family platter price. Samosa was piping hot and very tasty. The family platter came with choice of bbq, we picked the chicken tikka kebab and it was very good. We also had a choice of main dish and we had the beed nihari. This dish was not bad. It was just greasy. You can see al the oil on top of the gravy. But other than that, it was good. We also had a choice of biryani and we ordered the goat biryani. The biryani was really good and tasty. Basmati rice also came with the family platter and 2 naans. We got the garlic naan and it was the size of a small pizza. everything was delicious.

Relatively quiet and unassuming nestled next to The Shop we wandered in on a Friday evening. There were ample seats available and it was a comfortable experience. We ordered the chicken pakora for a starter and honestly that was probably almost enough food for three. Two of those could have made a whole meal and it was the best food we had. The mixed grill were mostly dry - the best was the chicken Tikka, the beef and the other chicken were forgettable. The goat biryani was tender, but the flavor was subtle and it was carried by the rice. The naan was unique, not my favorite but I could see the appeal. The beef nihari never came despite being on the bill - they did remove it when we asked. Fortunately we were too full as it was. As others have noted the overall ordering experience was somewhat difficult - there were a few communication lapses where it wasn't entirely clear what was going on with the food and things came out somewhat randomly. We weren't entirely sure the expectation was to come to the front to checkout, nothing was said and they had offered to bring boxes to the table. Perhaps a quick mention so we weren't just sitting there trying to figure out what to do.

Chicken biryani - 4/5 decent biryani. Good Portion.

The menu was a familiar Indian restaurant menu but food here was a notch above the usual Indian fare. Tandoori chicken wings: 5/5 would come back for this. Perfect flavor, cook and especially the size of the wings. Lamb Chops: 3/5 Flvour was good, but it's always tricky to get the cook exactly right for it to stay tender. This was slightly overcooked so chewy for my taste. Goat Curry : 5/5 Just excellent. Paired perfectly with the gianormous garlic naan. Chicken Biryani: 4/5 a decent biryani in the now pretty crowded San Diego biryani options. Won't come here only for the biryani as such but will definitely order it if I'm eating here. Excellent portion as well.

Casa Lahori has some exceptional halal Pakistani food. They have decent indoor seating and I loved their cultural decorations inside. We ordered the Chicken tikka kabob, malai boti kabob, beef nihari, and some naan. We were disappointed to hear their butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were unavailable (server mentioned they were discontinued? Unsure exactly what he meant). The chicken tikka kabob was easily the best entree, they were crispy on the exterior, well seasoned, yet juicy and tender on the inside. The malai boti were good, cooked well and flavorful. The nihari had good flavor but I felt the meat was not as tender as I'd like. Overall, it was a decent experience and I will return

Can't go wrong menu.,

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. The base price with falafel or chicken Shawarma was Close to $16 but since I chose the meat, they added two dollars to my total. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.

I got the flatbread wrap as a pita sandwich this time with chicken tika since it's what the guy behind the counter recommended. The pita was fluffy, slightly toasted, and flavorful. There's 4 sauces you can have with your meal but you don't really need it since there so much flavor to the pita (or plate if you order one). There's last time I was here, I ordered the flatbread tortilla wrap and that was delicious as well. It's much larger than the pita sandwich for $1 more. There is no bathroom here but I am told that you can go to Handel's to use theirs. I would removed 1/2 a star for that but the food is tasty enough to overlook it. There is a television on one side of the wall and 80s rock music playing in the background (great track if you ask me). They offer catering as well.
