This was probably the best steak plate lunch I've tried in downtown. Every food I've ordered at this place has been so delicious. And it was LOADED with food. The steak cubes were all cooked to perfection. (I think it was Medium) Juicy, soft, tender and it was seasoned perfectly!! I couldn't stop stuffing myself with it. HIGHLY recommended!!

Wow, it smelled heavenly in this place when I first walked in. Garlic Butter Steak with rice and the sides for $18.99, super yummy. Plate was full & heavy, I could only manage to eat half. 10/10 Also got a side of the Korean fried chicken wings, also 10/10 Only stumbled upon this place because I had an appt next door. Would definitely eat this again if I was in the area.

    Shrimp Udon Salad...the best!

Breakfast to start the day... Well, that's usually what we do so what you'll find here I'll you that & more... much more! Deli & Bop is cozy café on the ground floor of imperial Plaza which address is Kapiolani you can find some metered street parking along Cook Street. Here you'll find breakfast is what I come for as they open at 7:30 in the morning andthe menu selection is quite smaller but that select a few are awesome great choices not to be missed. I was disappointed to see their focaccia flatbread was out so I decided on the " all in one" which is basically it spam, little smokies, Portuguese sausage, and a hotdog with one egg your way all on top of rice. What comfort food to start your day the sear on the spam was so nice a perfect, this was definitely a meal for two. Service here has always been so lovely and nice. It's such a nice option to come in this little place and support local. Thank you!

Deli & Bop opened recently in one of the storefronts of Imperial Capitol Plaza. Limited hours. M, T, TH, & Friday only, serving breakfast and lunch. It's a two person operation, so call ahead to place your order. Number is (808) 200-0752. The two times I called, they estimated it would take 30-40 minutes. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Owner is really nice! There's metered street parking on Cooke Street and ICP has parking. Three tables inside for dine-in and a number of tables outside. I've only done take out. First time I went, I got their Sweet Pumpkin Sandwich. It's KABOCHA! The pumpkin salad part had dried fruit and nuts in it. Came with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickled onions. I really, really, really enjoyed this sandwich. Came with chips. Next visit I ordered their Side Order Seafood Pancake. Generous portions with lots of seafood! Definitely would get this again. They have two pork belly rice bowls. Spicy and not spicy. I tasted the not spicy. Comes with onions and mushrooms and thinly sliced pork belly. They do not skimp on the rice! Not sure if they put sesame oil in the stir fry but it was a bit strong by itself. Eaten with rice, it was fine. Also got to taste the Lemon Pepper Salmon. Enjoyed how lemon-y it was. Thin piece of salmon, so was a bit dry. But solid dish for $10.99! Plate lunches also come with a potato salad, bit of green salad and other banchan type items. I'm going to try to go thru the entire menu to find out my favorites!

New salads! So excited to see new menu items. Oriental Salad and Chop Chop Salad. And happy to see the Taco Salad and Shrimp Udon salad are still on the menu.

Delicious stir fry eggplant! I would definitely recommend this place and will return to try the pumpkin sandwich. The owner was so nice to offer me some kimchi to go with me meal. Mahalo!

A rare find while looking for a place to have lunch. Luckily, after my haircut by Salon Capello next door, I only walked a few steps to see several pictured plates. This peaked my interest and walked in to a small 3 table restaurant with a couple behind the counter cooking up some bbq aroma. I ordered the fried Korean chicken wing plate with Kim Chee veggie and rice. The wings wow! Delicious and great portions. It was 11:30am and people from the offices nearby started lining up. I was lucky I had my order early. Highly recommended! My go-to-place for Korean wings!

Stumbled across this hole in the wall, and what a blessing it was ! The food was some of THE BEST Korean you'll find, prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is excellent.

The sign outside says Plaza Clubhouse but everything inside is Deli & Bop. And it's very Boppy! The owner/cook is a happy pleasant woman who often is singing and bopping along to Kpop while preparing orders. I forgot my wallet one morning and she let me take the Toasted Foccacia anyway. Of course I came back the next day, paid for it and ordered lunch cos it was so good the first time! Calling ahead for large orders is encouraged and also just in general. But you can walk in which I did both times so far and only waited 10 minutes. It's a small cafe with three tables but there's outside seating too so lots of room. Hours are limited though due to the nature of the location. Lots of weekday, downtown working people foot traffic. Toasted Focaccia? The bread was soft, the bacon crispy, the cheese melty and the spinach and tomatoes nicely balanced. The pumpkin sandwich? Yes. The bulgogi sandwich? Yes. Seafood pancake? Yes. I basically plan to come back as often as possible and eat my way through every thing on this menu.

A very nice couple run this little place and they do everything from order taking, cooking and the register. There are about two - three tables inside and can get very busy at lunchtime with takeout orders. The food choices are Korean dishes, sandwiches, local plates and some salads. Very generous sandwiches! Many people order the bulgogi sandwich, which is packed with meat. I love the basil pesto chicken salad which comes with a vinaigrette dressing. Prices are reasonable with generous portions. Probably best to phone your order in ahead if you don't have time to wait. They are always working so hard and so friendly. We need to support people like this!

We got the seafood pajeon, cold noodles in beef broth, meat jun, galbi-jjim, steamed egg pot, and bibimbap. No actual grilling was done but we weren't exactly here for that. We came here to try meat jun and ended up getting a little bit of everything else. Let me tell you something... the galbi-jjim here alone is enough to pay them a visit. If you don't know what galbi-jjim is, let me explain it real quick. Galbi-jjim is a popular Korean dish of tender, braised short ribs, typically beef or pork, cooked in a savory-sweet soy sauce-based liquid with garlic, ginger, and often fruits like pear or apple for sweetness and tenderizing. It was perfectly savory and saucy, fall-off-the-bone tender, and I want to scream just thinking about it. The first bite alone had me sitting back in my seat. Had I been wearing a hat, I would have taken it off and held it over my heart. It was that good. And since it was my birthday, they brought over a complimentary seaweed soup and a tower of Choco Pies. They even sang Happy Birthday to me and made me blush. Solid eats and excellent service. The parking situation seems nerve racking but they have an attendant at both sides of the restaurant that helps stop traffic to help get you out of there which I found pretty cool!

I really enjoy the Korean comfort foods! 4 stars for the food, soups, and ban chan, 5 stars if the service was great. Typical service you will get at a Korean spot but no complaints. Just gotta be patient for ban chan refills or if you need anything else, I don't expect much just happy that I get to have my Korean food. During this recent Saturday visit, I decided to go here for our late lunch, after hiking Koko Head Trail & Makapuu. It was about 4:30 pm, we were the only ones there, but it filled up pretty quick an and they do have many take out and Uber/Door Dash orders. My favorites here are the combo set, choice of soondubu (combination, kim chee, spam, beef, sausage, clam,) & either meat jun, fried mandoo, bulgogi, yellow corvina, seafood jun, or BBQ chicken. The combo use to be $20.55 my first time but now went up to $23.55, hence the increase, it is still a great deal, this meal comes with rice and 5 different ban chan. This combo was more than enough for the both of us. My favorite is the spam soondubu ( yes. who picks Spam right?! hehe) & the seafood Jun. Although it so hard to decide since all the choices are good, I will have to visit again for the other selection. The other half and I cannot eat an entire combo set by ourselves. I love the ban chan, especially the daikon & kim chee, so fresh and crispy! When I first dined here, I was surprise to see they give you a fresh egg to crack in your soondubu soup, I am use to the egg already in there. We always have leftover soondu soup which I take home and add to my Korean ramen the next day, so good! Support this local mom & pop restaurant, So Gong Dong has been around for the longest time just only recently I've discovered it. I will be back for the next Korean soondubu, ban chan fix!

For the meats, the beef brisket and beef toro were the stars, but the beef chuck was slightly tough and dry. They were also out of bulgogi, which was disappointing. The pork had a really strong boar taint smell/taste, which completely turned me off from ordering any of the pork. We had to ask for more meat and banchan refills multiple times. There was usually a pretty noticeable lag before anything came out, which was frustrating for an AYCE spot. They also seemed to be selective about which banchans they would refill. They would bring more of the dishes like kimchi and cucumber, but when we asked for more tuna mac, they wouldn't give us any. It also looked like there were only two people working while there were probably around 10 tables during the Tuesday lunch rush, so I do think they were understaffed. If you're offering AYCE, the refills and service should flow a lot more smoothly. It felt like they were paying more attention the tables that selected a higher tier of AYCE.
