Rude, rude and rude!! Oh and racist (in my opinion). I've been to the Deli Boy in Fort Lauderdale and it was amazing! Friendly staff, amazing subs and I met the owner. So when the owner informed me that there was another store in Davie (which is close to where I live in Plantation) I couldn't wait to get a chance to try it out! After working out I went there and can I say everyone looked at me like I had two heads! Being a black female that is not a good start. But whatever, I ordered my usual, ham and turkey, half sub, with lettuce, onions, hot peppers, oil, vinegar, oregano and pepper. The female taking my order was very rude and short. She even rolled her eyes at me. When my sub was ready they called out for "ham and turkey" so I asked to confirm it was my sub. Again, attitude with a "we said turkey and ham." Excuse the hell out of me as I wanted to make sure I didn't take any else's sub! So I had a hunch that my sub order was wrong so I opened it in the car and it was! No hot peppers in sight! That's one of the reasons I love their subs so much! Needless to say my sub was thrown together and tasted bland. I will NEVER go to this location again and most likely never to another deli sub. So disappointed because the owner was a really nice guy. All I have to say is the staff at Davie definitely needs an attitude adjustment, or be fired! read more

I love Deli Boy subs. LOVE. I visit my sister in Davie a couple times each year, and it is always the first stop upon arriving, and if they are open, one of those bad boys is going with me to the airport with me when I leave. I always get the roast beef with provolone. With all the fixins, especially love the hot/sweet peppers. Top quality meat, cheese, bread and toppings. YUM, YUM, YUM.. Killer subs, bread is super fresh and soft, potato salad is awesome, I usually get a #1 loaded, going to get a tuna sub next visit.

All in all the sub was ok but for the bread. I admit that the sub roll is a matter of taste but this roll was like white bread. When I get a sub I expect to get a piece of bread that has a crust and some taste. The meats and cheese were ok and there was enough of them, The service was quick and the place looked clean and neat. Would I go back? I think not. read more

This is a no-frills sandwhich place. I just happened to look up nearby sandwhiches when my family and I were on the road. The sandwhich's here are just the regular sandwhiches but the ingredients are still really good. Additionally, the sandwhiches are very large so my dad and I shared the bigger size sub (I forget what the sizes are called). We ate inside and there was enough room, but I would not come here with anymore than 4 or 5 people. Lastly, the customer service was really nice and they answered all of our questions no problem. p.s. they have hot sauce available. Let's keep this simple. Pound for pound probably cheaper than any sub/sandwich chain. Meat is good quality and plenty of it. Not as much as La spadas but really close and I believe the meat is of better quality. ( La spadas usually gives me the runs but they are delicious). Really good subs! We tried the #3 and #10. I also got 1/2 lb each of tuna salad and chicken salad for lunch the next day. I haven't had a bad experience here before! It's the best place to get a sub if you're in ikea-sawgrass corporate Park area. I always prefer to get my sub hot and they allow you to make any sub hot. I had the pastrami and swiss sub and the pastrami is great. The bread is what I feel is a major factor in a good sub and this place does it right. I would put this place up there with laspadas and another favorite sub place I grew up eating, Mr. And Mrs. I'll save that review for another time. :D read more

This place is extremely underrated. I have only eaten here two times and I live within 2 miles. It is a shame I don't frequent this place. I love subs and usually get mine from Publix or even Subway. To me, Subway subs are too small and Publix's bread is too hard. This place is perfect. The meat is fresher than Publix surprisingly and the bread is perfect for sub sandwiches. I just have to say my family has been eating deli boys for over twelve years and they are by far the best subs in all of broward county. Im a huge fan of family owned business's and i spoke to owner on the phone regarding my order i had placed on uber eats. We went back and for several times and i must say when the second uber eats pick up driver canceled the owner knowing i had jo way to cone get it personally came and delivered me my food. They told me it was their first delivery ever and it made me feel special considering how long they have been in business. I love patronizing local establishments. This is one of the best little hidden gems. Half a sub chips and a drink for under $10. It might seem pricey but the quality blows Subway and those other chain places away. There is plenty of meat and the bread is fresh. My sub (hot roast beef and cheese) was actually pretty amazing, and I didn't wait long at all to get it. Plus, they had birch beer in the fountain, so that was a major, major plus for me. The only thing I'm concerned about was the guy who helped me didn't really seem to want to be there. He was just annoyed by the presence of customers. Read the reviews and figured I'd try it out. First bad sign for me was they didn't use boars head cold cuts which to me is the only way to go when it comes to sandwiches. Service was friendly and fast, everything seemed fresh but the sandwich just didn't do it for me. Generic at best, not something I'd go back for unfortunately. So, it comes down to a couple of things: Is it clean, and are the subs good? For Deli Boys, it's yes and yes. There are a handful of sub shops in the general area that I would recommend and That I come back to eat at (there are many more that I would not). This is certainly one of the good ones. Had 2 subs today at Deli Boy. Had a ham and cheese and a chicken salad. Both were flavor less and both were made very sloppily! I've eaten here in the past and it was just okay but today they really stunk the place up! How do you screw up a sub? Oh wait I know, you use cheap bread, cheap meats and you assemble it like a Yugo from a Mexican factory on a Monday morning! I've had better from a cafeteria at a hospital! Trying this place for the first time. Ordered a roast beef toasted with mayo lettuce tomato oil and vinegar. First, the sub was so soggy I literally had a pool of oil and vinegar dripping from my plate. I had to squeeze the rest out. Second and most importantly the tomatoes were completely spoiled. We didn't bother complaining or asking for another sandwich since the staff didn't seem too eager to help. No HI, No bye. Definitely on my list of places not to go back to. read more

Best subs in South Florida. The bread is amazingly soft, chewy, fragrant, and fresh. They give you so much meat that I frequently ask for them to cut back a bit. I've been getting subs there regularly for 9 years and the quality has always been top notch. The owners are so nice and many of the staff have been there for the whole 9 years I've been going, which is saying something. Deli Boy subs are large, the ingredients are good quality and the service is always fast even though the lines are long at lunchtime because it's a pretty popular place. My only con is that they have sweet peppers which I don't like, but not green peppers...but that's just me. read more
