I have not even taken a bite of my sandwich yet, but had to come on here for a review simply to say how OUTSTANDING the customer service was. From the moment I stepped into the door till I left, Valerie was phenomenal. She was so bubbly and delightful, simply taking my order and making sure I had what I needed. I even observed her welcoming in a customer whom she knew by name! This is a level of customer service you don't come across often. Especially at a quick lunch break. It's been a while since we have been in. Yesterday we purchased three medium sandwiches as per usual. Taste was ok, nothing to write home about but decent, edible. One notable change from usual was the lack of meat in the sandwiches. There was maybe two slices in each sandwich and replaced with extra toppings, lettuce to bulk it up. Now I'm the person who does not care for a lot of meat in the sandwich so for me to say that, it's significant. Everyone was still hungry when they were finished eating. I've ordered several times and keep thinking I just got a bad order, but, again this last time was again low on meat and fixings. This is literally the worst location which is super disappointing because it's right in the area that I live in. I've gone to this location multiple times in the past month and had them literally turning away business telling everybody that it's gonna be a 40 minute wait for their sandwich if they order. Food is very good. However, beware of their website. It offers delivery and switches you to a 3rd party service. The third party charged my card. I later called Deli Delicious at Champlain and Perrin to check on my order and was told they didn't offer delivery and I was referred by mistake. I asked to have the charge voided and they said there was no way for them to contact the delivery service and told me to do it. Of course the delivery services web site provided no means to get a refund and referred me to deli delicious for a refund. In short the delivery company ripped me off. However, I would never have contacted that delivery company if Deli Delicious web site hadn't linked me to it in the first place. Basically, I'm out $25.00. read more

Deli Delicious lived up to their name today! The sandwiches were delish. Great warm bread, excellent deli meats, and fresh vegetables. It was so good! This is our first time ordering from Deli Delicious. The menu has so many choices and options. It's a little overwhelming because all the sandwiches look great. My husband ordered the pastrami, pepperoni, salami, with jack and provolone cheeses ($9.85). I ordered a turkey, avocado, Swiss cheese and sprouts ($9.50). Nice, fairly small branch of Deli D at Champlain and Perrin. It's quiet and there's usually parking so I like to come here more often than the Palm and Nees location. It's always clean. Staff are friendly, food is usually up within 5 minutes or so. They still use the numbered ordering system which is a bit easier (some other locations took away the numbers which makes their already long ordering process feel like quoting Shakespeare). I've had some hiccups at the till here, card problems seem to be a somewhat regular occurrence. Not the staff's fault, they clearly find it frustrating too. Another recent upgrade is that the sides of fries are smaller. I want a side and not a basket so that's ideal. However I've had to send it back before because they'll absolutely coat them in paprika if you don't ask them not to (and sometimes if you do ask them not to). When made to order their fries are bomb though. read more

Came here for an after school snack. Got 3 sandwiches, 2 turkey, 1 ham, all the same size, and fries. Took the order to go and found that Deli Delicious is going through some tough times. Each of the turkey sandwiches had 8 slices of meat on each sandwich half, but the ham sandwich only had 2 slices of meat on each sandwich half. The ham sandwich also had very little lettuce, which can be explained away due to the outrageous price of lettuce these days, right? Instead of wasting time and gas on trying to replace this poor excuse for a sandwich with what I actually paid for, I simply will not return again. Just FYI-since posting my original review I was contacted via Yelp by someone from Deli Delicious. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and responded. He has since removed his comment in which he apologized for my negative experience and didn't follow thru with his promise of "making it right". I placed an order online at 12:15 they said it's not supposed to be ready until 12:40 you should of got an email. Ok. They literally waited until 12:40 to start making it. I am hopeful that someone has not bought this location recently but I cant see someone hiring a manager to just stand there doing absolutely nothing while 4 customers are waiting and people are coming in to pick up internet orders. I was an internet order, told they were working on it when I got there. 20 min later the manager is still standing there doing absolutely nothing. When my sandwiches were finally wrapped he then yells for an order of fries to make me wait that much longer. Food is usually very good, but it's pricey. I went there today and was charged a fee for using a credit card. No one mentioned a fee and there was no sign stating there would be a charge to use a CC. I ordered a hot sandwich; a French Dip with extra au jus. My sandwich was cold. It has never been hot. It wasn't heated then cooled down before delivery; it was never hot. The cheese was unmelted. There was half a cup of au jus which isn't enough to start with, nevermind the fact that I didn't get the extra I had requested. I have had some really good sandwiches here in the past but this review is more for their app experience that I recently went through. I needed to get home soon for my wife to use the car for her appointment so I used their app to order so Id be able to run in and pick up fast and make it home in time. Ordered and paid on the app and got email confirmation everything went through and time to pick up sandwich. Perfecto. Arrive at restaurant and wait for them to finish with customer ahead of me. I give them the pick up info and they inform me they weren't able to make my order cause I still owed 85 cents. I said that the whole order was paid through on the app. They respond that the app didn't charge the right amount and I still owed 85 cents more than what the app had charged. I told them I was confused as the app had line by line of all the charges for each item. A sandwich, fries with a sauce and a drink and how could you have different prices here when I arrive. So they start to add up each item, the sandwich is the same as the app and then sauce the same and they were having trouble adding in the drink and fries. Maybe cause it was a combo. Check my watch and realize I'm already late now and they haven't even begun to make the order so I don't have time to wait and ask them to just cancel the order. Workers were polite and sorry and told me they canceled on their end and I should contact the app support to make sure I get refunded. Emailed the app support and they respond back and needed me to give the store location I believe to process the refund. Give them the store and order number and then I get no response from them as well as no refund. Not sure how long they have been using this app but if your going to order from here I would just call in your order if you need a fast pick up and avoid having to pay at the app and then more at the store when you arrive. Going to email app support again so hopefully I'll get my refund eventually! read more

I have given this location multiple orders and 75% of the time they are incorrect. Order is placed online with directions and still they are unable to execute a simple order. If i could give 4.5 stars i would. I am very fond of this place. Oddly I have not been to any other Deli Delicious locations. I used to come here a lot more. I remember this great deal involving free chips and a drink for a local movie ticket stub. Not sure what happened to that one:( anyway. I love how this place lets you choose from 4 - 6 - 8 or 12 inch sandwiches. I have tried a few of the hot sadwiches. ( I stopped eating any kind of cold sandwich when I was 10, for personal reasons) Some of the others are good but the french dip they serve here is one of the best I have ever had. They have their own special Deli Delicious cups now. Gone are the generic shameful styrofoam gas station throwbacks. I would prefer to pay a little less for how much I get but the prices are not surprising for the area. read more

This is by far the worst deli delicious we have been to. My #26 turkey bacon avacado came with NO avacado and I asked for extra onions (got two tiny pieces) and one tiny piece of bacon(half a piece)...their green salad came with minimal amounts of veggies, and the #43 buffalo chicken and jack was sad looking (see pictures). Also, they don't check your receipt so another person walked out with our order...when we walked up when our number was called, the staff didn't run out to stop the person, instead they stood there, acknowledged that that was indeed our order and kept making sandwiches as my husband went outside to stop the person with our bag. Love the sandwiches!! Customer service sucks. I came in and ordered a couple of sandwiches within 15 to 20 minutes of closing. They took my order because it was to go. Another couple came in right after me, they ordered sandwiches and drinks. I couldn't believe that they told them they couldn't eat it there, they would have to take it to go. Granted this is 15 minutes before closing. They got pissed and left. I couldn't believe the manager there that was standing there allowed that. I fell in love with Deli Delicious the moment in came to Fresno several years ago. I'm so glad to see it's successful, expanding, and still as delicious as it was before! Honestly, I've gotten their veggie sandwich every single time I've been there (which is a lot), but I just love it so much I have to get it. They have a wide variety of veggies and make really filling sandwiches, where a lot of other restaurants make their veggie sandwiches really skimpy and flavorless. The thing that's always my favorite about Deli D though is how they put cream cheese in sandwiches. If you haven't gotten one yet with cream cheese, I definitely recommend it. They're really slow, but it's worth it. I wouldn't expect to get your order under 10 minutes, so don't go if you're in a rush! read more
