Had to drop my car off today and I wanted a quick little breakfast, so we went to Farmers Boys. We got a breakfast burrito, the pancake platter, the California omelette and a pumpkin iced coffee. I love how convenient they make everything. Everyone loved their breakfast. I've totally been craving pancakes for the past few days and they totally hit the spot. We went through the drive-thru. Because of the amount of food we ordered we had to go around and park and wait. But that was not a problem, the food was well worth the wait. All of the employees that we came in contact with were super nice. All of our food was cooked, wonderfully and hot when it came out. The prices were really reasonable. I wasn't a fan of the iced pumpkin coffee. It just tasted like watered down pumpkin syrup, the only thing that had good thing about the iced pumpkin coffee was the cold full. The coffee itself just taste like watered down pumpkin syrup. When we pick the car up, we're gonna go back for lunch and have a good burger. read more

Farmer Boys has great burgers, sides, and so much more! The Double Big Cheese burger is so tasty and filling. The fries that come with are hot, crispy, and seasoned well. The BEST thing to get here though is the fried Zucchini. SOOO good, especially with their homemade ranch. They're nice and accommodating when they take your order, but once your order is taken, that level of welcoming and friendliness seems to change. I needed something they had left off my order and simply walked to the counter to some employees who weren't doing anything to ask and was met with rolled eyes and being ignored. Interesting. Despite the service, the food and over ambiance of the restaurant is nice. You can sit inside to enjoy your meal and it's clean with lots of tables and nice decor all over. During my visit to Clovis, the family wanted to swing by a nearby area that allowed us to order and eat quickly since we were starving! We entered the place with a good amount of patrons during lunch and observed the place to be clean and the workers were up and about making sure tables that were previously seated by patrons were cleaned up for the next customer/s. Not much has changed since the last time I ate here in 2019 in terms of decor but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Plenty of seating and parking was plentiful. The food itself? Just as I remembered. Delicious and well priced. I purchased the Farmer's burger with fries. The fam purchased a grilled chicken sandwich, big cheese and zucchini sticks. I usually like Farmer Boy's but today was really disappointing. I ordered the patty melt with fried zucchini. The zucchini was really good, same as always but the patty melt was disgusting. The bread had completely soaked up the cooking oil to the point that it was dripping oil and uneatable. It's not often that I wish I had just gotten McDonald's. I hope this was a fluke. I'd never been to a Farmer Boys before, though my friend from SoCal said their family would go pretty often for "huge salads, burgers and healthy-looking food". I was enticed by an sign-up app offer, so I dropped by after work on a Wednesday to place a to-go order and sat around in a booth waiting. The place seemed a little understaffed since I did have to wait longer than expected for my order to be ready and most tables had some crumbs on tables and receipts littering the floor, though most patrons seemed to be cleaning up after themselves moderately well. -Big Cheese (free with sign-up offer in the app): this was a pretty good classic burger; nothing special but the meat was juicy, it had a good amount of crisp lettuce and ripe tomato on a soft bun with melted american cheese. A pretty big burger and satisfying if all you want is a normal cheeseburger without any frills. -Fried zucchini: this was what I was most excited for since they looked comically large, and sounded amazing. They come out piping hot, so definitely wait before you try to grab one with your fingers. It comes with ranch, which you'll definitely need since the zucchini itself seems to be unseasoned. The zucchini is super soggy so the fries don't really have structure and are hard to hold, and the breading is less crisp and more so ahard and dense shell that falls off. I was hoping it wouldn't be too oily, but I definitely could feel the grease and heaviness after eating these. -Onion Rings: these are just as comically large, and suffered from the same type of breading, oiliness and lack of seasoning as the fried zucchini, just with onion instead of zucchini. Overall, Farmer Boys has pretty good deals in-app/via email, with seemingly lots of free entrees/sides offered, with pretty solid classic burgers, and sides that are a little too heavy and bland for my liking. I can't complain about free food and other cheap offers, so I would still consider coming by if I wanted a burger and had an offer from here. read more

I tried to just deal with it because I didn't want to cause a scene or have to wait forever for refire. The hubs took it back up and explained.. they said they'd remake it. 10mins later still nothing. Waited a few more mins before speaking to the manager. Given his reaction, the original complaint had been ignored or forgotten by staff. Within 5mins he had a new burger and fries brought to the table. I have to say the new patty was MUCH better and the burger tasted like a burger, not a burnt puck. He earned a star for his part. We ordered 2 Classic Fried Chicken, a Fiery Fried Chicken, Fries and Strawberry Milk Shake. My Fiery Fried Chicken was tender and juicy. The heat came up slow but stayed on my taste-bud afterwards. I only came through the drive thru, so I don't know much about what's going on inside, but honestly, I think they have MY FAVORITE burger ever. This is my second time having it. Their Avocado Bacon Burger, is so amazing. I don't remember the last time where I've craved a burger, but even as I write this review, I am trying to figure out when I can go back! The burger is juicy and they smash the avocado so you don't have avocado slices sliding out of the burger. The bacon is real bacon- made fresh and crispy. Then bun is not a traditional sesame, it's a fancier, delicious bread. I am not a huge fan of the French fries, but they are pretty crispy, which is basically what I want in a fry. I think they are tossed in cornstarch or something, as they have an extra texture and crunch. The onion rings are a complete waste of money and calories. $4.59 for four (albeit very large) onion rings. The onions themselves are sweet but the batter is something alien in texture and completely devoid of any flavor. And they give you ranch with them that is oddly thin.
