HUGE HUGE portion...they come in baskets! Green beans aren't really spicy but fried perfectly. Fries were too soft for my liking but still. Roast beef & mushroom on Dutch Crunch & Turkey Avocado Bacon on Sourdough. Bread incredibly fresh but not very sour nor very crunchy. Sandos in general are pretty flavorless. They need more flavor as a whole. Their combos need work on the corporate level. Ultimately, I'll stick to Jersey Mike, but this wasn't bad. They have outside tables next to a water fountain. The restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly. I ordered a medium salami, turkey with sprouts and the "Works" minus mustard on Dutch Bread. It was a quick and easy process. The sandwich is fresh. Bread is soft yet textured. Tons of fresh ingredients. I love it! Went to pick up lunch today. I've never been this disappointed. I ordered beer battered fries and it was a quarter full, I've never received this little. I asked them about it and tried to show them but they weren't interested in helping me. She told me it's 10oz and sometimes when in a rush they can add more. I weighed it and it's not 10oz. I went to this location of Deli Delicious today at Willow and Nees to grab an early lunch. I have been to this location before, but so many things noteworthy really stood out differently today. First of all, I was greeted with a welcome and smile the moment I entered. The cashier was super friendly and we even had quick small talk as I ordered. I noticed as I looked around that the dining area was absolutely immaculate. As I took a couple pictures I wanted to post, I looked closer and noticed I could see the reflection of the ceiling from the table- that's refreshing to feel that level of shine and cleanliness! I had a lovely vegetarian sandwich on sourdough. All my adaptations and details to my order were completely accurate. The sandwich was not only made with care, but all the ingredients were fresh and crisp. The booths were super unique with a low, almost cube like backing that was very comfortable. I have been going to this location for years and just yesterday I noticed I never received my debit card back. I had called the store immediately an hour after my purchase and when asking if I left my card there the girl immediately hung up and I heard some odd laughing in the back. I preceded to call back again and the girl told me my card wasn't there. It was to my surprise that I received a charge of $30 to sephora made at 4:30am and an attempted purchase of $70 made evident to me from my bank. I attempted to contact a manager and was hung up on three more times. Not only did the sandwich taste like crap but the workers are thieves. It's unbelievable these girls I saw everyday would attempt something like this. Update 04/20/2018 Ok, so I am updating my review as we have now gone back several times and I have been ordering to go as well as eating in. The food quality is still unmatched. They have always made the best sandwiches in town hands down...the issue with this location was the amount of time it would take to place an order and actually receive the food. It was not uncommon to wait 20-30 minutes with less than 10 people in the store. But now the Nees and Willow location seems to have finally gotten its act together in terms of organization and speed and efficiency. In fact, when I call in to order now they have my history, so I can just re-order my last order and it is done in 10 minutes; I love that kind of efficiency. Since my review from a year ago, we have gone back about 8 times...all in the last 2 months...so they earned this review. Couldn't agree more with Ezekial R., below me. I had to update this place and complain since my last review. There is a particular staff of 'closers,' who will make your experience uncomfortable to say the least. God forbid you visit this within the last HOUR (not minutes even) that they are closing because yes, they WILL try to rush you out ASAP. Look, I've worked in the food-service industry like this before at a small chain, I understand the urgency of trying to cleanup and lock the workplace down in order to go home ASAP, but dude.....you're supposed to do closing procedures WHEN the restaurant closes, not the last hour! My complaint is not primarily with Deli Delicious itself, but these particular employees. And they close at fucking 8:00 pm for god's sake which is too early as it is. If you live around here, and have a busy work schedule like I do where MAYBE the only time you have to grab dinner is in between the 7 - 8 o'clock hour, you're FUCKED if you come here. Just be prepared to get rude, shitty service, no smiles, no eye contact, just the front cashier looking down and punching your order into the computer as fast as he can while someone else is already mopping the floor up around you. To you particular two closers who do this at this location (and you know who you are, I've seen your ass give me dirty looks several times now when I walk in) I just want to give you a big standing ovation and applause because your service sucks ASS. If you didn't want people to walk in the last hour you are closing, then maybe you'll get your wish because when people read this review, trust me....it's not going to exactly make them WANT to go here. To the management of Deli Delicious, if you are smart you'll look into this because its unacceptable. Your location closes at 8pm, yet your employees are making it well clear and obvious that they would really like to close by 7pm. I come to this deli all the time, and every time they deserve a 5* review but let me tell you.. when I had dinner last night with my family, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I had to give some praise that is definitely deserved! Business seemed slow for a Saturday(not complaining! I was relieved we missed the dinner rush), but the employee's took the extra time to make us feel welcome and make our sandwiches perfect (I don't care what people say.. The employees are great(all the girls are really sweet) , Food is amazing, the restaurant is kept very clean and organized, service is quick, and prices.. Well it's not subway.. But you get what you pay for! And it's so worth it! Also recently I was stuck in a bind last minute needing to feed 20-30 people, I called this deli and they made me 3 beautifully made sandwich trays with hardly any notice AND did it with a smile on their face (plus I was able to get free chips as part of a promotion? This review is based on customer service. This is our 2nd time here. 1st experience wasn't so bad; food was typical of any sandwich shop. Rude!!!! There were 2 servers, one prepping the sandwiches and another in sight towards the back of the kitchen area. I was told the usual "be with you in just a minute!" So I waited for another 2 minutes or so. A young lady came in, presumably from the yoga studio next door in tight leggings and top, then suddenly the server is up at the register ready to take her order, even calls her up. She comes up and asks (to everyone in general) "are they waiting?" (Indicating us). Before I can answer, the server says that we are not, and to go ahead an order, not bothering to ask or confirm--or even look in our direction. I stood there for a second, mouth hanging open at the brush off. I then turned on my heels and walked out. I guess they don't like serving to curvy women in scrubs. Normally, I would reccommend Deli Delicious. I like their sandwiches, however this time I can't say that I would. There service was absolutely awful. I ordered 4 sandwiches to go without about 30 minutes left before the shop was going to close and the staff managed to mess up my order. I recieved sandwiches which were not mine and by the time I had arrived home, it was too late to return to Deli Delicious because they were already closed. I do remember having the feeling that the staff wanted to leave and was just rushing through orders so they could get out. Obviously, the customer suffered. My advice: Don't go too close to closing.
