Place is pretty big, and had a lot of seating, but most was taken. Came around lunch time and had me a hot italian sub, with beer battered fries.. Sub was really good, as were those fries. YUM.. This month is Social Worker Appreciation month for March. So my job decided to have a Nacho Day for us Social Workers as today is not my cheat day I decided to duck out while they munched on their nachos and go to Deli Delicious on my lunch break for a healthy alternative. I entered this Deli Delicious and it is packed with happy looking customers, upon entering I got whistled at on this rainy day. I made my way to the counter and waited for my turn to order, which I managed to look at the menu. All the non-beef related options sounded so good along with the Build your own Sandwich. I saw advisement for their lettuce wrap and ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Provolone and Avocado Lettuce wrap without the Avocado. As I was waited for my lettuce wrap a dude approached me and said I looked stunning today, which put a smile on my face...finally they call my name and the employee was very kind, he gave me a wink and informed me that he made my Lettuce Wrap and hopes I enjoy it. I thanked him and told him to have a wonderful day. I opened my Lettuce Wrap and it looks SO pretty that I do not want to eat it at all but it smell sooo good. After snapping a few pictures...I took a bit and my taste buds went wild. Best Lettuce Wrap I have ever tasted. So delicious and flavorful. I am in denial a sandwich can taste that good. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The customers and staff are very friendly, great impression. The food is amazing. The price for my Lettuce Wrap with tax included was $9.42 which is pretty steep in my book but worth the $9 for sure! I will definitely be back. I am impressed with this Madera location. Came here for lunch and they got my order wrong. I ordered the Turkey, avocado, & sprouts and they gave me the Turkey & bacon. I'm not gonna make a fuss cause I'm on a time limit, but I wasn't too happy with their mistake. It was packed for the lunch hour, so much so that they had to stop taking walk-in orders. Went out on a limb to try Deli D in Madera because I've had a few horrible experiences at the Cleveland location!! Im glad I decided to go out of my way to give this place a chance!! Service was phenomenal, really nice gentleman working the counter!! And my sandwich was AMAZING...just perfect!! I had the 22 Tuna & left really satisfied!! I will def be returning to this location even tho it's a little out of my way!! Also this deli d is very spacious and has plenty of seating and 2 decent size TVs!! Check them out!! read more

Deli Delicious really is delicious. That's why not just one star. Their service is meh. If the cashier is not at the front counter, expect not to be greeted in any way. If you are vegetarian, know that they do not properly clean their sandwich cutting knife between sandwiches. I ended up with a slice of chipotle chicken and sauce inside my veggie sub. We love this place. We were very happy it came to the neighborhood. I pick my wife and daughter up for lunch at Deli Delicious on Fridays, and it's always good and the service is always top notch. One guy who is usually at the register is probably the best employee I've seen anywhere in a long time. He's polite, quick, friendly, and super-focused on keeping the place clean and running smoothly. I believe his name is Sandip - my wife asked him last time we were in there so we could mention it in the review. Well, I hope that's at least close. Not sure why the bad reviews here. I had great service dining in- they brought out my food rather than calling my name at the counter. And cleaned up my basket for me. Since I'm from out of town and a first timer to this local chain. I appreciated the 4" mini option which was perfect for lunch. And the #21 with turkey avocado and cream cheese had just the right amount - it was a thin layer rather than a smothering sauce making the sandwich well balanced and fresh. read more

This place is always hit or miss, mostly miss. They get my order correct about 20% of the time. No one answers the phone, you have to order online, and they still get the order wrong, but I just scarf it down anyway and suffer in silence and then set myself up for disappointment again because I am hopeful and forgiving. I wipe up my tears with a mop and the left over bread from the sandwich because they never put enough ingredients inside. They only hire 12 year old kids that cannot read orders correctly. Wow. Had a problem with my order to November 24, I order a #38 med it had bad meat . Told it back and exchange for a #23 which had ham, bacon etc... there was no bacon in the sandwich. Call the deli delicious on Howard Rd, where I bought the sandwich, told the young lady what happen she put me on hold, when she got back on.the phone she told me to call tomorrow and talk to the manager. Horrible customer service. The electronic menu was not working and they were also out of regular menus so I asked what was on the menu. Allyson stated that " Items 1 through 10 are boring so not to worry about them". Ok. So I asked what I should order and she said items 21 to 35. Sandwich came out fine like any other Deli-D, but their employees seem irritated or annoyed by clients. I've been here once before and like the other comments say they take a long time to have your order ready so I called ahead of time. The guy that answered seemed annoyed over the phone. when I asked what the bread options were or what "everything" was, he said it all way too fast for me to hear anything so I kept it simple. My order came out right. However when I tried to walk in the door it was locked. I was pushing and pulling over & over then a customer from inside waved me to go around to the other door around the corner. There wasn't a sign up that said use other door I asked the guy who rang me up if they forgot to unlock it or put a sign up. He said people leave that door opens & let flys in so they kept it locked. While I stood there having this conversation other customers did the same as me trying to get in through a locked door and the customer trying to eat his meal having to wave them down to the other door. The owner of this business really needs to hold his young employees accountable for providing bad customer service read more
