I have been here a few times in Merced and I enjoyed the staff minus the lady who is apparently the "manager". I can tell the cashiers are under scrutiny and work under a stressful environment from the way she talks to them around customers and how she hovers over them. The manager needs to learn customer service herself and take classes on management skills. Over all the afternoon till closing shift has been the best service that I have received. read more

Placed an order and when they asked if I wanted sauce, I asked for bbq. After I sat down I realized they charged for the sauce which I wasn't informed that I would be charged for and even though it's not much, that's not the point. Anyways I get my food and then ask for another sauce and they say I have to pay more. I decided not to get the sauce and started to eat and ended up pulling a hair out of my sandwich. ANNOYING. Yum! Have never been disappointed! I love the combination of avocado and sprouts with turkey! Such yumminess! The restaurant has always been clean. Its a small shop and gets busy quickly during lunch. If you plan on eating there you need to either beat the lunch crowd or wait until after the lunch hour. The service here deserves an applaude. Brought the kids in for dinner. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches and fries. After we got our food, they came around twice checking in on us and how we were doing. Not the kind of service you would expect which is why they stand out. Good sandwiches made fresh. Highly recommend stopping here if you are looking for a sub sandwhich with better fresher ingredients than subway and togos then stop over here. Everything about this shop except the wait times during peak hours is better than the other competition so if you're in a hurry I'd suggest placing an online order or calling it in. read more

I've been here twice in the past month and received great service each time. The beer batter fries are amazing (and I don't normally like fries). The sandwich was so good and fresh. They are a little expensive, it came out to 29.00 bucks for two of us. We ordered two sandwiches with fries and a drink, it was worth it. The sandwiches are a good size. read more

Had a horrible experience today at deli delicious today. I went in and asked to give the lady my phone number so I could get my free rewards I had a free soup or chips and soda with a sandwich purchase. My wife had a free sandwich and something else with her reward #. So we were going to use one and than buy 4 sandwiches and sides,drinks. There was no signs anywhere saying the rewards program had ended and I was just there last week. I asked the girl who was working and she said she was from madera and she had no idea what I was talking about that the store she came from didn't have rewards and there the same owner. Than she contradicted herself by saying that lots of customers had been coming in asking about the same rewards. She than continued to say I must be mistaken that they do not have reward!! So I show her the texts that they sent me and she just continued to say well we don't have that here like I was some liar. Finally the other worker who was much more customer friendly suggested she call the boss. She didn't seem to want to but the other worker already dialed the number. I tell u I was so pissed this young lady was basically saying I was a liar. If she didn't know all she had to do was be polite apologize and have me take it up with the manager in the morning, but for her to sit there and basically say I'm crazy and they never had rewards pisses me off big time!!! I do lay some of the responsibility on the management if it is true that are not continuing with the rewards program. They should inform there employees and put up a sign or send out a text to all enrollees that the program has been discontinued.. don't think I will be going back any time soon!! read more

Every time I have come here, I have encountered a problem with my order. I have either gotten the wrong size sandwich, wrong sandwich completely, and once there was a hair in my food. The manager was extremely apologetic and even offered to compensate the meal and a free sandwich in the future. When I came back to redeem the sandwich, the cashier was extremely rude and whispered under her breath how I was just trying to get free food from them and how I was lying about the hair. About 2wks ago I tried this place for the very first time. I didn't know what to get but with the help of Surinder she recommended the hot pastrami sandwich which she prepared herself that day. She made sure to present the sandwich very well not only did it look good the taste was amazingly delicious and she made it a point to ask me how the sandwich tasted and if i liked it. To me that said and meant a lot to know how dedicated she takes her job. I told her it was so good I would definitely come back and so here I am today. As soon as I walk in i see her and to my surprise she remembered me and what I had ordered the last time I was here. This time I tried the chipotle chicken and it was just as good if not even better. I will definitely continue to come back and try a different sandwich but I must admit that not only does the good food bring me back but also the excellent customer service along with their hospitality. read more

Deli Delicious is the only place I go to when I want a great sandwich. The other night my best friend and I went there not realizing the time it was about ten minutes till closing time. Feeling bad about the time the cashier ReeAnn was all smiles reassuring me it was fine and greeted us and asked what we would like to order. Her co worker Jaime came up and greeted us also and was friendly and ready to accommodate us. Being the end of the day and almost closing time kudos to Jaime and ReeAnn for still having a smile on their faces and their customer services was still amazing and they where still talking with us and we had a great chat. After our order was complete they asked us to have a seat and enjoy our dinner but looking at the clean dinning area we said thank you but that's ok will take it to go and I thought that was above and beyond to still want us to dine in and enjoy our sandwiches.
