This place has the most delicious hamburgers in Medford. And they have crinkle cut fries! Their fries are always so hot and delicious! Their fry sauce is so good, too. I am so glad we found this place. We've tried dozens of burgers, from all sorts of places, from Grants Pass to Medford to Ashland, and have not found a burger as good as they make at Deli Delight. Absolutely the best burgers and fries in Southern Oregon. I'm so excited we found this place! The following part of this review has no effect on the food quality whatsoever this is just my observation and opinion of the atmosphere... The owner would do well to take down the remnants of the Covid days, ie, the plastic partition where you pay. It's very annoying because it's difficult to hear through and gives off a feel of being unwelcome. Also, the place needs a deep cleaning. When you own a business, it's important to look at your business from a customer's point of view and evaluate what changes and upkeep need to be done. Like, cleaning deeper and more often, painting the walls to freshen it up, taking out the yogurt machines that don't work, etc. And the lottery in the back brings down the vibe, too. But, they really do a great job on the food and are nice people. And the food is really the most important part, anyway. read more

A little hole in the strip mall kind of place that has all the makings of a good local secret spot.... and it is... the burgers were basically like a fast food kind of burger if you tried to duplicate it at home- perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries and some of the best ranch I've had in town... and if you know me you know it's one of my pet peeves for a place to go all out in every detail and then for it to have terrible ranch... well the ranch here is amazing... Recently ate there last week. Food was fairly good but man, the place was filthy. The bottom of the soda machines sticky and gross, floors disgusting. Food and stuff on walls. This place is a simple, yummy and a quick place to grab a bite. It's a small business, owned by a couple. The guy owner is funny and charismatic while the woman is attentive and friendly! I thought we received excellent customer service. The food is tasty too! Nothing very complex, burgers, fries, Rubens, sandwiches, soup, and desserts. It's counter service so you order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. We got the Ruben and the melted ham and cheese this time. The Ruben was delicious, yummy rye bread and flavorful pastrami. The ham and cheese was hot and melty. LOVE the food here, the burgers taste like In-n-Out, the fries were delicious, and the chicken strips were tasty. They also have frozen yogurt and ice cream, all of which looked really good and we will come back for another time. They also had a coffee menu which looked really really tasty. looking at it from the outside you wouldn't think that it was so fantastic, but we were very impressed with the food and will definitely be coming back. I probably go to Deli Delight about once a month. It is centrally located between my work and a friend's, so it's a good place for us to meet for lunch. I don't think I have ever had anything besides the cheeseburger special - cheeseburger, fries and soda $6.99. The food is pretty good. Employees and the owners are very nice and the service is quick. There are plenty of tables available. I have never had a problem finding a place to sit. Very casual dining atmosphere and they keep the dining area nice and tidy. I recommend DD for lunch or a good place to bring the family. read more

Honest review as a person who loves food and hardly ever complains. I ordered a "Chicken ham Swiss melt" It was nothing more than a quickly heated chicken patty on a hamburger bun that you can purchase from any grocery store cost me $7.25, I have had better at Burger King. My wife ordered a whole turkey sandwich $8.50 It literally came on two slices of bread from a grocery store and was worse than a poor college student could make. Lastly my son had chicken strips and fries $6.50 the strips were garbage however the fries were the best thing out of everything we ordered. You can a get better food at a local 7-11 or lil Pantry at half the price than you can here. Don't bother its costly and the wait for it was slower than a sit down resteraunt. read more

Anyhow, we went recently and there was a miscommunication and they made me a Ham & Cheese sandwich instead of a Grilled Ham & Cheese (which is excellent!). I said no biggie, that's fine... But the manager lady still made me a grilled ham and cheese despite that and gave it to me to-go for free. I literally JUST finished my first burger and fries from here, and I'm blown away! I have never written a review, positive or negative. The Avocado burger was AMAZING it was SO juicy but not greasy. Very flavorful, and the bread was toasted perfectly! I can never find a place where I like the burgers AND fries. I always have to settle for nasty fries for a good burger, but not with this one! Like I said this was my first time here, and the fries were crispy on the outside but not the over cooked hard (crunchy) way, and the inside was soft and fluffy (lol). If you are looking for a locally owned hidden gem for a quick yet very satisfying lunch this is the place. I am aware that they have frozen yogurt, sandwiches, and a variety of other food items but I ALWAYS come for either the Bacon Cheeseburger or Ron's special Chicken Sandwich, I highly recommend either one. Some of the younger employees make good food, but if you go while the owners are in, you are in for a fantastic burger, bun toasted just right. Fry sauce, something you'd think tastes the same everywhere, is also amazing! Lottery machines present at similar establishments are usually accompanied by an unappealing clientel that would turn many away, but somehow that isn't the case here. The location is well lit and they do a great job keeping a comfortable atmosphere. Very happy they reopened after the fire a few years ago. It isn't a gourmet restaurant, but if you are craving a burger or chicken sandwich combo and are tired of the same ol spots, definitely give Deli Delight a shot! read more
